After a year of bringing home groceries from this store and realizing a good amount of them were out of date, I stopped shopping there for months. Recently I decided to try and give it another shot, and after checking the dates the first time, it went pretty well. Until this morning after my second trip, I went to eat a breakfast bowl, and was almost halfway through when I saw the USE BY OCT. 17, 2023…. Seriously ???? Over a month ?? This is just the latest in my out of date product purchases from there. Over the last year or so, I’ve gotten month old cheerios, 6 month old Caprisuns, month old guacamole, month old butter, 8 month old sunny d.. and more. This is ridiculous. I know I can’t be the only one.

Since getting new management, I can now shop local. The store was clean and the shelves were well stocked. If they would just lower their prices a little, I would give them 5 stars

Was great! They just changed their veggie layout. It's more convenient and easier to see everything. They also had Carolina thick cut bacon on sale for $3 something! Crazy great price!

The selection is limited and the prices are high compared to most stores, but considering it's the only grocery store in town and convenient it's (unfortunately) to be expected. The produce tends to be hit or miss, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not, but the prices are always high unless you catch a sale.However there is a highlight: the people. The workers there are very friendly and are always nice and helpful. I'm always greeted with a smile and hello when they're not busy, and that's what brings me back and why I'm willing to continue my (occasional) patronage. This isn't my go-to daily grocery store, but the hometown feel and welcoming faces is not something to ignore.

Neighbors helping rip neighbors off. Intentional false advertising, always ringing up wrong prices, 2 different prices for the same item in the system on purpose. They have one price on the tag and another programmed and get away with it by stocking the product with a different scan code.HorribleAbsolutely horrible

B&Z's Fresh Market is the only grocery store in Glenville. They are a bit pricey, and the vegetables aren't always good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Update this store is only convenient because it's the only grocery store in town be careful what you buy here because they have the tendency to freeze almost everything and yes that includes bread I've tasted bread that came from this store and it was dry and didn't taste right everything here is high $1 to $2 higher than Walmart when they have sales here they don't have there prices low enough to actually make a good sale

I see a lot of people sharing about the prices. The prices here are not any higher than they are at any other Hometown grocery store that I can tell. The customer service is usually pretty good at the back of the store anyway. Cashiers are not always real friendly, either talking to another employee or on their earbud phone. I've not ever gotten anything spoiled out of date or rotten. It's always been fresh food in my experience. Maybe a little tweaking of the hiring process, but other than that the store is pretty up to standard. As for the store being dirty, it is an older building in the midst of South Georgia dust ridden farmlands. I've not been in the bathrooms that a previous customer wrote of as being dirty. Personally, if I was looking for a clean bathroom to useI wouldn't generally pick a public one anyway.

The prices are stupid high. They sell out of date products (check what you put in your basket), discounted produce that probably should be thrown out and they aren't the friendliest bunch. That's what being the only grocer in town can do.

I'm not sure why people have such negative things to say about our little hometown grocery store.The produce department is amazing! Bright and fresh fruit and vegetables with a very good selection.The meat is cut daily by REAL butchers and they will accommodate special cuts when available. The seasoned whole chickens they offer are a breeze to cook and have plenty of flavor. The meat always looks fresh and healthy... Unlike some I have seen at other grocery and big box stores.The rest of the store is stocked with essentials and other unique and/or hard to find items.Several people mentioned items are priced higher than Walmart. Sure they are! So is Kroger and Food Lion. If you want to drive 27 or 33 miles respectively, go ahead and shop at Walmart, but don't forget to add the approximately 3 gallons of gas you will use, adding approximately $9.50 to your Walmart order. How much did you say you saved again?And let's not forget the friendly faces throughout the store, the fact that they will open more registers when needed, etc. NOT found at Walmart.I appreciate B&T Fresh Market and its employees. I enjoy shopping there and I will continue to sing it's praises to others.

I love how you see a sale in the store and you’re thinking I’m going to eat you when I get home. Make it to the register to find out that it not on sale even though it’s clearly state it on the shelf. Now I’m going hungry. We need to honor our sales people so us poor people can eat. My point is why our we not honoring what is clearly posted.

When I moved here 3 years ago it was originally the Bi-Lo which was great. Now that it has changed, it has went down hill. Tonight I was in there and they were charging $9.59 for a normal sized jar of Miracle Whip. Uhhhh no, I think I'll stick to driving the 30 minutes to Walmart or Kroger. Everything in that store is priced $1-$2 more than Walmart if not more. Even the store brand canned veggies are $1.19 when you can get them for $0.50 at Walmart or Kroger... overcharge much?! For being in a small town you would think they would want to give their customers the best pricing possible to keep business in town, especially with how prices are rising everywhere, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Disappointed to say the least. I love to support local businesses but this store is one I will only go to out of sheer desperation.

Clean & well-stocked. Prices are comparable to other small local grocery stores I have shopped at in other cities and states. Sometimes I just don't want to drive 20 miles to the nearest big grocery store, and with the price of gas, it pretty much balances out as long as you're not doing a big shopping trip.

Terrible customer service. My fiancé went in to buy bread and paid with three rather scraggly dollar bills and had to watch as the cashier marked each dollar bill to check for counterfeit. This is not the first time his small bills have been marked while others have paid with larger bills and not had the same done to them. It’s very disheartening when a local patron, who was raised and continues to live in the community is treated poorly in one of the few stores in the area. CHANGE needs to happen.

I love the new wider selection of stuff. The meats look nice. One star off b/c prices can be a little higher on some things but I love shopping & spending in town when I can & saving a trip out of town is really nice.

Almost triple walmart prices on some items everything is at LEAST 1-2 dollars more :/ i just moved here and this was the closest to my house. They didnt have alot of the stuff i needed
