took my 9 month old puppy in numerous times to get a hair cut. I always scheduled for the earliest time slot, that way I could pick him up early and he was tired and not energetic for the hair cut.. came to find out he would sit in the crate they have for about 2-3 hours. a 9 month old puppy cannot sit in a crate without getting in a playful mood when he comes out, they would always call me that he was “viciously” biting the groomers and they were never able to finish his haircuts. another issue i had is they would always send him home when he would use the bathroom while in the crate, once again he was in the crate for 2-3 hours so of course he had to use the bathroom (they claimed it was due to stress). the last time i picked him up they told me to stop bringing him there because he was too vicious for them and too hyper.

It's a peaceful store. I'm glad they are still operating. I've been coming to this particular store for almost 15 years. I love it. All the fish and animals inside make us happy when we are having a bad day.

I went to PetSmart with my daughter. I spent Christmas with her and I didn't have any gifts for my dog. I bought three mice "chewable" toys and some bones for my dog, Sasha. She loves them! The price was reduced because it was after Christmas. The employees were friendly and helpful. It was a a very good deal! Sasha is still playing with her toys and enjoying them.

Do not go to the Petsmart Grooming located on Dawsonville Hwy in Gainesville, Ga location. Especially do not see Tiffany I was a Client there for at least 3 years I always saw Celina and she quit and went to another grooming facility and boy is she missed. I had 5 dogs there that came in on a regular basis and she never had any problems with. So after she left I did not know who else I could trust with my dogs and brought in one of my dogs there and seen Tiffany as I came in she was handing me all these other charges like 10.00 Matting Fee and saying Celina had on her profile that my dog snipped at you when her face and rear was cut and I said Celina never told me of any problems she had wirh her and I was gonna walk out and I spoke to the So called grooming manager and he acted like he cared less on me leaving so I let her do my Dogs grooming and she called me when she was finished and said oh she did very good. I had called Celina and she said she never put any notes into the computer of her having problems with her so when Tiffany called me to tell me she was ready she said I had no problem with her. So I told her I spoke to Celuna and she was totally unaware of the notes that she never done that.so when I went to pick her up I gave her a Tip and Thanked her. So I made another appointment there yesterday to have 2 more of my dogs groomed and the Manger Leah called me and told me that because of the interaction from last time that Tiffany did not feel comfortable doing my dogs because of the interaction we had last time. Well if. She had not of lied then the problem would not of happened. So take my advice don't go there.

Sammi in the grooming salon is amazing!! She has been grooming our dogs for years now and we will never go to anyone else. Our pups always smell and feel so fresh after seeing Sammi. She gives them so much love and care and makes them EXCITED to go get a haircut. She handles them so amazingly and treats them like her own. She also knows us and our dogs and our family members by name which is such a nice touch; she genuinely cares about her clients and remembers them and their “pawrents”! She is so professional, kind, and caring and I would recommend ANYONE to go see Sammi no matter how far. She is worth it!!! ❤️

I took my senior dog, Missy, to be groomed at the PetSmart in Gainesville. Sammi was the groomer assigned, she loved on my baby doing the check in and asked a lot of questions. Senior dogs need a little extra TLC and I felt Missy got that today. Her groom was especially good as well, a smooth cut with good legs and ears. Missy looked so good, she even had bows for her ears. I hope to get Sammi for the next grooming.

I found a gerbil I wanted to buy. Was told I could not touch it til I bought it. (In response to the question does it bite I was told how do they know?) I get people playing with them and not serious but I was serious about buying it.

My granddaughter, her new puppy Hero and I went to Pet Smart to pickup some kitten starter milk for 5 tiny mice. When you take a puppy in a store it's like taking your cute little baby in a store. Hero is well behaved to only be 9 weeks old and he draws much attention with his overload of cuteness. We looked on our own for a little time then a store employee must have seen us looking everywhere. She ask if she could help us . She took us straight to it. Really it was a pleasant shopping experience today. I definitely recommend Pet Smart for your pet needs .

McNugget is the sweetest hamster you'll ever hold!!! He loves seeds and jumping off the counter into your hand. Petsmart has a great variety of pets. Their return policy is so easy as well.

There was only 2 people working the whole store and the business was steady. But with the 2 of them and there team work everything went gracefully and was able to help all their customers without being rushed and or rude. I wish i could remember the ladies names that was working on July 14,2020

Took my puppy here to get a bath. She’s been to another location four times and did great. The lady that took her back was not friendly. And didn’t seem comfortable with dogs. One girl was on her phone while she was cutting a dog. They called us to let us know she was done only for us to show up and them say she wasn’t done? And they didn’t call? However I had the phone call. Ridiculous and rude. Not professional AT ALL. Go somewhere else! My pup was a nervous wreck after we got her. And she never has acted like that before. Super annoyed I wasted money there. They were all rude to the dogs they were shaving. My puppy doesn’t even smell good. She doesn’t seem as if she even had a bath.

Always a pleasure to have my 2 Doberman pincers groomed each week.Each associate handles them with care and responsibility.They love to get their baths, brushed and nails done.We have never had a bad experience with this store over the last 5 years and through the pandemic.Thank you for all that you do to make my babies happy and give them a morning out for a few hours.Remember to tip you groomer, be courteous. They are people too having to deal with your self spoiled “children”, mine definitely are spoiled and thankfully, get equally as spoiled at PetSmart.

Do not recommend!!!!! Went in to get a hair cut for my goldendoodle. She said there were some spots that we’re matted, but she made it very clear she could brush it off and could save his fur, she mention how that would be $20 cost extra to brush of his matted spots (it wasn’t very matted) we made it very clear that she would save his fur!! And picked him up with all his fur gone completely and stilled got charged extra!! Oh and did I mention while we waiting in line (it was super packed with many dogs) our dog was barking like a Dog he is. The cashier comes up to us very rudely and annoyed proceeds to ask us “is your dog trained??” “Does he always act like this?” And walks away by saying “keep in mind pets smart trains dogs!”

My dog recently got groomed at PetSmart on Saturday 5/13. To start off, I never received a phone call to let me know she was ready for pick-up. She was dropped off at 11:30 am and picked up at 6:00pm. That is seven hours. She has been there two times prior to this visit and I had no problems. For this visit, I wanted the same exact thing she always gets. However, this time she walked out looking like a disaster. Then, I was charged more money due to her behavior. My dog is a small terrier that is not aggressive at all and never has been. Yet, she does get nervous in stressful situations and can be squeamish. If an individual cannot comfort or handle a nervous dog then they should not be a dog groomer. To make matters worse, after this visit she was experiencing intense, bloody, diarrhea. We went to the vet 5/15 for them to diagnose her with Stress Induced Colitis. However, the following day 5/16 at 4 am my dog was crying hysterically, was stiff as a rock, and could not walk. We went to the vet again where they said she suffered from a back injury. Moral of the story, a nervous dog is not a bad dog and needs to be handled with care. My little girl isn't even 1 yet ( she is 10 months old ) and she should not have experienced what she did. We will not be returning to PetSmart.

I had my dog groomed here and she came back with a choppy haircut. I called and reported to the manager about her haircut. He told me to bring her back so they could fix her. I am disabled and have to rely on someone else to take and bring her back for her grooming appointments. The manager should have at least given me a free haircut for the next grooming.I understand that the new groomer has a lot to learn and needs a lot more practice.

Be careful because they know how to spin a narrative against your pet. Current staff is not good at handling older dogs and that’s why they are getting 1star. I would give zero because I’ve been using this location for 11 years but never again. My little guys was provoked so as to spin their narrative. Don’t trust…

I buy my catfood here. Their Authority brand is good stuff with real meat as the first ingredient. I also buy cat toys and scratching posts. The Dr Elsey's cat litter is awesome! No scent and no smell hard clumping usually low dust. This last bad not so much but usually isn't a problem. The associates at this Petsmart are always helpful and I appreciate them.

Horrible service at any spot. No one checks in on you. You have to go to them no matter if they walk past you. I get it a a paycheck but at least be grateful you have a Job and not homeless begging for money. If you work in a pet place at least be kind to the animals and customers!!! No reactions at all to anything. Being completely honest!
