We recently completed a boarding and training program for our 6 month old Great Dane. Our trainer Brandon provided great weekly updates on progress throughout the training process. We got back a much more manageable and behaved dog! Great work! This group knows what they are doing.

We have a 100+ lb. RR (Hunter) that started showing aggression to outsiders at age three which deeply concerned us. We love him so much but knew we had to do something so we did a board and train with him at Custom Canine for 3-4 weeks. Szymon was his primary trainer and he did a great job of laying down a foundation that we’ve reinforced with daily training once we got him back. Szymon also introduced us to an e-collar, which along with a heavy duty retractable leash, allows us to take Hunter for walks on trails and/or on streets like we use to. 😊

I enrolled my 7 month lab into the 4 week program. She came out a completely new dog.My trainer Emon was excellent with my dog. Not seeing her for the 4 weeks and then watching her perform with the trainer was impressive. I've had her home now for a few days and my trainer called to check up with her progress. I had a few concearns and he immediately wanted to make an appointment to go over the training with meyou can tell that they truly love animals and they are dedicated to what they do..My overall experience was great. I had the BEST experience with Custom Canine Unlimited. Before finding them, my dog Daisy, a Great Dane puppy was wild and crazy! I went for an evaluation and met with the trainer. He broke it down and explained to me how the board and train would work and that we would be able to be involved. Emon literally updated me weekly and made this transition without my Daisy so easy. He sent me pictures and videos of Daisy's progress and let us visit when she was ready. He was so great with my family. My three year old adored him. We recently got Daisy back and her behavior is completely different than before. She is such a well behaved and well mannered dog now! He did such an amazing job with her. I would recommend this facility to anyone!!

CCU is an awesome facility. The staff is extremely friendly and they make you feel at home every time you come down there. Our dog is a rescue dog and he was extremely difficult to control. His trainer, Emon, had the most amazing amount of patience I've ever seen. He built a bond with our dog and almost completely transformed him. The people at CCU know what they are doing. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Talyor was our main trainer. He is patient and kind not to just our dog Bailey but to us too. We let them keep our dog for 4 weeks. We had an issue dropping him off at a certain time and they allowed us to drop him off 1 day early and they even waited a couple of minutes after they closed so we could pick him up. Taylor stayed late to go through all the paperwork with us also. As far as the training it is great. Bailey had strong alpha traits. He knew his commands for the most part but would do them on his terms. Now he is more calm and disciplined. He never knew heeling before and he is a near perfect walking partner. Even when a dog came in our yard and he was sitting next to me he had no reaction. He looked at me and I did not react so he just day there silently.Thanks you Taylor and Team you guys are World Class in Dog Training and Customer Service.

The staff at CCU go above and beyond in order to train handlers and their dogs. Not only do they train to certification standards but they train past them. The staff is very knowledgeable about questions asked and are willing to put in the work to make sure you as handler understand the answers. The facility is amazing and the kennel staff do a great job of taking care of the dogs and making sure they are healthy. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. AJ Vargas runs a very professional business and produces quality canines and handlers. If you are looking for training or boarding I would highly recommend CCU.

Top notch training! Our dog Tango has shown such great improvement since spending 3 weeks at CCU. His trainer, Emon was very knowledgeable and really cares, keeping us informed and making sure Tango's transition home is going smoothly. The entire staff put the dogs first and show how much they care about them. Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

They trained in such a way that I was able to retain the knowledge offered from them and apply it when I got back home. This company has the worst. I was a loyal customer even though they were the worst supplier. They drag you in with the best prices and then raise the prices astronomically and attempt to force you to pay their new price. They even put my dogs life in danger multiple times even as I explained to them the seriousness of my purchases of their food and it did not matter. I would have to call to inquire about my orders multiple times and still receive it extremely late. Every time I called I was informed that a new person was my sales provider and would assure my order. That never happened it got worse with time. I even agreed to sign up for a monthly payment program in an attempt to avoid delays of my shipment and the minute I did a month later they raised the price by $27 and stated that if I wanted to continue with the product the best they would do is sell it to me $1 less than chewy. I advise everyone to stay away from this scamming company. BUYER BEWARE!!!

All of the trainers at CCU were exceptional. I spoke with over 10 other training facilities before I left my labradoodle with these guys. They did an excellent job on training Aladdin, as well as helping me to deal with some of his difficult behaviors. I would highly recommend them.

My dog Sophie was a rescue. She was very fearful of many things including people and noise. She had a lot of anxiety and lacked confidence in herself to the point she couldn't and wouldn't listen to me at all. It was very hard to leave Sophie at CCU for 4 weeks but in the end it was the best thing I could have done for her and myself as a dog owner. Emon and Taylor were her trainers during her stay at CCU, and I'm so grateful for the amazing job they did with Sophie! She learned so much in the 4 weeks she was there. Sophie is much more confident in herself now and much more trusting of people. She now understands basic commands like heel, sit, down, stay and come and no longer ignores me. They took great care of her and have continued to help me and answer any questions I have in Sophie's training. They love what they do, and they are good at what they do! I highly recommend sending your fur baby to CCU, you will not be disappointed!!

The staff and services at Custom Canine Unlimited is outstanding. We are very pleased with the outcome of the service provided to us and our Malinois. Before finding this awesome group we had encounters with other so called trainers and unfortunately we were told that the 8wk old puppy had to be put down. After long research and reviews we found out about Custom Canine. They explained from the 1st meeting what the expectations are, very straight forward and delivered on every promise. In short, CCU delivered a service that was not negotiated with an aggressive sales pitch or unrealistic promises at a competitive price.I realize that sounds dull without the adjectives great, super, superior etc. but it is almost refreshing in this day and time to actually receive the service that you thought you bought and paid for.Emon, was our primary point of contact during this process. He followed up weekly with comprehensive updates, as well as, texts and calls to share additional information. He also was extremely thorough and informative when it was time to train the humans.Emon and CCU assured us they would be there to answer questions or provide additional assistance if the need arises. They have given us no reason to doubt their assurances.Finally, our canine did learn the basic obedience commands. We are fortunate that our dog was simply a big, lovable, undisciplined puppy with no known aggression or significant social issues. We believe the assistance provided by CCU gave us the tools needed to begin the journey toward a well adjusted and disciplined dog.

We took a completely out of control rescue bullie mix to Custom Canine for 3 weeks of training. After working with Emon, she was a completely different dog. She's changed in ways we never could have imagined. We can now take her anywhere in any situation. It doesn't matter if there are other dogs around, other people, squirrels, balls or any other distractions. She's obedient, obeys commands and is a pleasure to have with us. Emon and the rest of the staff at CCI were wonderful, caring and professional. We would highly recommend them for any training needs you have!

Since being hired on with my agencies K-9 unit I have had the excellent oppurtunity to train with Custom Canine Unlimited. My time began going through their Basic Handlers Course, which was mostly conducted at their facility. When I began the course I had no more experience than being a support unit for a K-9 team.From the word go you really hit the ground running. Instructors Vargas and Allen have a complete hands on approach to their instruction. They not only show you ways to handle different excercises, but they also explain why. From obedience to tracking, narcotics detection and handler protection, the Instructors are with you every step of the way, to ensure you're able to be the best team you're capable of being. The class room portions range from types of materials used in equipment, first-aid, scent dispersion, case law and everything in between. At the completion of the course and passing of all written and practical exercises, you're then able to certify your team in whichever areas are applicable.After certification and graduation from the course you'll leave with all of the components to make a successful team. Probably one of the most impressive things to me about AJ, Buck and the rest of the CCU Staff is that once you've trained with them you have a 24/7 lifeline for any issues and questions you may need help with. You leave with the sense of comfort that you've made new friends that are willing to help however they're able to.Their passion for training and caring for dogs is completely unmatched. My time spent with them has been some of the best during my law enforcement career, and going back to train is my favor part of each month.In closing if I could leave you with anything, I would strongly recommend any partnership you are looking to make with CCU. We have 2 German Shepherds one does not like people (Koda) and the other does not like other dogs (Judas). Now after 4 weeks of boarding and training these 2 are doing great! I was shocked when we had a stranger come by the house and Koda barked a little then settles right down and was a good girl, before as Emon put it she would have wanted to eat his face off. As for Judas he has really made a 180 when it comes to being with other dogs and there is no more tension at our house now. I would like to thank A.J., Emon, Debbie and the whole staff at CCU that worked with our 2 babies, they all did a great job and we look forward in continuing classes for them. We brought Parker to CCU to have him learn some service dog assistance tasks. The most important task we need is assistance in getting up from a chair. This was absolutely accomplished along with refresher in basic obedience and most important, we learned how to teach and communicate better with Parker. Not only does he come to assist when called but he comes to check on my husband during the day and when he is near and sees my husband start to get up, he immediately comes to his assistance. Parker is more willing than even to learn new tasks and we are working on those with the slow steady pace we learned at CCU. And what I love about the methods at CCU, they don't destroy the personality or spirit of our beloved Parker. Parker is still a dog and still does the doggy things like getting in the mud, enjoying his beef bones, and all of that is what we love about him. Parker is happiest when he is at work. He know that when we put his work collar on in the morning, that he is on duty. I would encourage anyone who needs help in learning to communicate with your dog to try CCU and to do everything they tell you to do because there is a reason for everything they do and if you will hang in there you will see the reason and get the results.

I was a little ify at first about the board and training program knowing how Brody didn't really like other people and that he was never away from home. My initial visit was with Emon. Brody and Emon clicked together like two peas in a pod. I felt very comfortable and felt like I could trust CCU with my baby so I decided to move forward with it. What can I say CCU was and still is great to us. Just picked up Brody and Taylor Huth was his trainer. Taylor worked AMAZING things with him. Watching the both of them during the transitional period was unbelievable! Brody and Taylor were as one! He use to dragged us everywhere while trying to walk him but now we can actually walk him with no problems, even my 11 year old can now walk him with no problems! Listening and obeying the Commands has gotten so much better! I know we still have some work ahead of us but with a great person like Taylor behind us I don't have a doubt in mind that there is nothing that we can't do. I would highly recommend CCU!

CCU team , what can I say?I have been to many different places before and by far hands down to this team of knowledgeable trainers and staff. Many other places will try to sell you training just to make money . CCU will tell you if your pet does not meet criteria . What more can you ask for, weekly updates, your pet brushed twice a week, they check your pets health, your trainer will personally contact you. As busy as this staff is they still make time to bath your pet before returning home... I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to fix any problems with there fury friend, from obedience, personal protection any kind of issues this is the facility to go too.. My approx 4yo female Mt Mix was trained and boarded for a total of 3 weeks with Enon Baker as the trainer in Maysville, GA. Based on the interview with Enon on site I immediately gained confidence that he was intelligent with the appropriate knowledge, attitude needed to train Chablis effectively. And so he did! I had 2 one on one training sessions and learned how to continue with the same cues and undo some of my past cues. Enon emphasized that his training me is just as important as his training Chablis. Both Enon and Chablis deserve an A+ and I am currently striving hard to earn an A+ too. Looking forward to a one on one with Enon in downtown Dahlonega around people and dogs as distractions. All the personnel I have interacted with at CCU have been friendly, helpful and personable. Thank you!
