When we took our cat in for thrush and severe fever, they told us his teeth were infected. We paid to have them all removed. They only removed half of them and sent him home with antibiotics. Not even a day after, his infection worsened, he had a stroke and fever returned. He ended up dying in my dads arms a few nights later. When we called to complain that they didn't finish the procedure properly, the girl on the other end sucked her teeth and hung up on me.Actually the worst vet experience I've ever had. I have no respect or an ounce of forgiveness for a single one of the women there or Dr.Giles what so ever. If you actually cared for animals at all, you wouldn't let your workplace turn into this rude and awful hell hole. Have some sympathy for the people you're taking money from.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Took my dog here concerned about her weight (she’s on the bigger side) they said it was just her 2 breeds mixed together & she needed a diet. I took her to another vet turns out she has hypothyroidism. They would have known that had they run tests on her. If you look at her you can clearly tell that she is not at a normal weight that a “diet” would fix. The staff are rude & very dismissive. Never ONCE did I meet Dr. Giles in the 5 years I took her there. Never could get past the waiting room & go back with my animals & I did not like that AT ALL. Something very off & weird about a vet who won’t see their patients parents.. Any questions I had were not answered. I’ve heard many other comments about this vet not properly taking care of the animals that we trusted them with. If you want to make sure your animals are properly taken care of, TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Now that we are at home and our baby has had a few days to heal, Dr. Giles AND staff at Peach Veterinary Care in Fort Valley, I am calling you out. I will not be adding photos to this post because they are very gruesome. If anyone would like to see them, feel free to message me.On Friday 1/19/24 we dropped off our dog to go through a standard routine neuter surgery. We picked him up at 4:30pm the same day, and immediately noticed abnormal abdominal swelling. I text one of the employees AND our regular vet prior to leaving the parking lot to ask if this is normal, Dr. Giles staff said it’s normal, and our regular veterinary stated this is very abnormal. By Sunday night, our dog was unable to sit, lay down, or walk more than a few steps. At more than 48 hours post surgery, the swelling after neutering should be minimal. His entire abdomen and surgical site was ballooned and full of fluid.Dr Giles staff asked us to bring him in the following morning. Upon bringing him in, they offered no explanation or empathy towards his condition. The front office staff said they wanted to monitor him and asked when he was given his last pain pill. I gave them the information and asked for them to clarify what the treatment plan for him is and ask that he is not left in a room and given pain pills/monitoring as his only treatment, because in my opinion he looks like he needs surgical repair and/or draining of fluid. They advised that he will be only monitored and given pain medication.I expressed my concerns once again through text at 1:07pm after dropping him off for “monitoring”, and we were not given an update on his condition until 11:00am the next day on Tuesday (22 hours apart) which was a text that said “he seems happy today. Swelling has spread. We can watch him another night and monitor or you can monitor him at home. His white blood cell count is normal, and he has no sign of infection. Swelling after castration is normal, expect dramatic swelling as before.”I advised that due to lack of explanation and concern and communication and no contact from the doctor at all that we will be picking him up. Upon picking him up, his entire lower abdomen and stomach up to his heart was full of fluid and nearly sagging to the ground. We arrived at his regular vet in Gray 1 hour later, and within 15 minutes they did imaging, blood work, and a doctor was in the room with us explaining his condition. His white blood cell count was over 28,000. He was in fact, severely infected, and his stomach down to his surgical site was full of blood. He had to stay in the hospital for 2 days to receive care for the infection. Dr Giles has seen the photos, and is very aware of this infection, and has had no comment and still to this day has never reached out to us for an apology or explanation on why they did no imaging, or actual “blood work” and if they did do blood work, they clearly are incapable of reading it. Please keep your animals safe, and do not leave your babies with this office.

I took my dog here to have her fixed, the staff was very helpful and polite they sent her home with all kind of free samples and she has had no complications and had a fast recovery. They are very fare on prices, this was the most reasonable priced vet that I could find in the middle Ga. area. I definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a vet .

Pretty dissapointed as this has been our vet for many years, but the rudeness from Dr. Giles that we experienced today was uncalled for. She needs to learn how to speak kindly and professionally to her customers. I would not recommend this vet and will be taking my pets elsewhere.

Beware! Can NOT be in room with animal. Some animal resist care for they do not feel well and there is a stranger trying to poke them, etcSol their solution is to sedate the animal.Or run up your bill.If your animal is not even eating , it is noCaring for your pet for it is all about the MONEY that is to be collected NOW.So, it is all about the business and not and animal.

I ABSOLUTELY love these people. They have been my vet of choice since the early 90s. They have always gone above and beyond to care for my chihuahuas and I will continue to stand by their business in the future. Everyone there is worth their weight in gold. ❤

If I could give them zero stars I would. This vet almost killed my cat. I took 2 cats to here to get fixed things went well. Front staff was friendly but I never got to meet the vet. Which is a first for me.One of my cats had a blockage and was dying. She said he was fine and pumped him with fluids which was the wrong thing to do. I called back because he obviously was still dying. The poor front office staff had no answers for me.I took my cat to another vet and they confirmed that Peach Vet did everything wrong. The other vet saved my cats life, met me in person, had a grea, Bedside manner and affordable

My cat had blood in his urine and they took him back, gave him fluids, and took a sample all while I waited in the lobby. They were quick and gave my answers before I left. I take all 5 of my cats there.

This is the worst animal CLINC someone could ever take their pet to. You never get to see the Vet, the staff are rude and on busy days, even though you get an appointment, your pet is not seen, even after making multiple phone calls to check on your pet’s progress. If you love your pet, please do not take your pet to this clinic.

I have a puppy who received her rounds of puppy shots and got spayed here. I asked for my dog's nails to be clipped during her spaying since she would be under anesthesia. She hates her nails clipped, and this was less stress on her. PVC did not charge me extra for her nail clipping during her spaying. Wonderful service! This is the only vet I will continue to use. I am driving from Macon to this location because the customer service and prices are better than any where else. I highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care and affordable prices. Quick prices: spaying was $125 including pain medication & puppy shots were between $30-$50 depending on round and no consultation with vet needed.

I do not know how this clinic gets anything but 1 stars! I’m new to the area and in search of a vet. I arrive 20 minutes early with my three dogs. I went In to check in and was told that they were waiting for a room to open. I told receptionists that I would be outside in my car as I could not bring my three dogs in alone. She assured me it would be no problem. About 20 minutes after arrival the tech comes out to get us. I have one dog, the tech has one and a friend of mine has one. We take them in where we are not allowed back with animals. They are just thrown into a room and we go out and wait. I thought I would be called back to talk with vet after exams. After about 45 minutes the receptionist said she could check me out. She told me all dogs were heart worm negative and it would be $285.The staff was pleasant and prices were not bad but I do expect a talk with the vet. That’s was only right!!! Right now I don’t know if my dogs are healthy, the right weight, etc. after this I will never ever take my animals here. Dr may ba a competent vet but her bed side manner is awful. I don’t know how she stays in business!**edited** My dogs were extremely lethargic immediately afterwards. The eldest was so out of it that he urinated in his sleep. I now have to clean the urine out of my memory foam mattress. I have had dogs for many years and never had this happen before. No one asked me if I even wanted my dogs to have the three year rabies vaccine versus the one year vaccine. Had they bothered to communicate with me I would have declined the 3 year. To say that I was very disappointed is an understatement.

I have used this office for almost twenty years and since the front office staff has changed, I have received nothing but indifference and neglect! When I request to the veterinary doctor, all questions are sent through the front office personnel (which are totally ignorant) and lots of information is lost in translation. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, Lori Giles is a bully and has zero communication skills; she is in the wrong profession to be dealing with people who have pets that are like children.

I am convinced Dr. Giles and her team are real life angels. She has been my family vet for years and recently my cat has been experiencing urinary obstructions- a very serious condition. Dr G. and her team go above and beyond to treat and care for my Cecil as well as many other animals we have owned over the years. I drive from Columbus, GA because I have so much faith in her and will continue to use her as long as I live in Georgia. I recommend her to anyone needing a new vet or second opinion on their fur babies’ health. You can tell she is in this practice for the right reason, to care for and treat sick animals, which I have found can be rare these days. Thank you Dr. Giles and team for all you do!

This vet you never meet dr Viles. She has never made herself noticeable and when you go take your fur babies in you never get to go back with them . So you don’t know if they actually treat your fur baby or not and if you call to ask to bring your pet they schedule you a week away no matter the circumstances. So I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Take your fur babies to someone who really cares.

I just had the rudest conversation with Dr Giles that I have ever experienced. She came recommended by a friend. After being horribly rude, hung up on me, a potential client. I would never subject my fur baby to someone with a UGLY heart!!! She wouldn’t see my pet roach if I had one! Take some classes in customer service!!!!!

My chihuahua mix needed an emergency appointment after coming home to find her laying on the floor screaming and not moving/using her right front leg. My normal vet was out of town and after calling 6 other vets that couldn't take her, Peach was able to get her in within the hour. The staff was very friendly and the appointment was done in a very timely manner. Price was very affordable even being an emergency last minute appointment. May end up switching vets after my experience here. Highly recommend!

Brought two feral kittens that I trapped monday morning. I realize I did not have an appoint ment as you set traps and hope. They could not spay them until wednesday, so I had to leave them. I feel being charged 30 dollars a day to keep them is a little excessive

Always takes good care of my dog. She is a lab and doesn't like smaller animals so they always work with me so she doesn't have to interact with other animals when getting her in and out the office. Highly recommend them.
