I moved to middle GA 2011 and used several vets from all over the Macon area. I had no problems with any but never felt the fit I had with my vet in suburb of Atlanta where I lived. I traveled the 2 hours to get to them for many years knowing one day I would have to find a more local vet.Well I finally found Magnolia Animal Hospital and Dr. Mike. My 3lb poodle that’s 14 I thought was having heart issues. He confirmed and she’s on medication and most of the time acting like a puppy again. Thanks to Dr Mike and the crew I have found that fit again.

I absolutely love this vet and this is the only vet I will go to! Dr. Mike is so loving towards my dog and always makes sure he answers all my questions and isn’t in a rush. I recommend this place to anyone who has animals! If I could give this place 1,000 stars I would!

I brought two of my dogs in today to be spayed and have their rabies vaccine updated. They looked great after surgery and it went very quickly. Pricing is very fair and the staff is amazingly friendly. Very honest wholesome people! I already have two other dogs booked for appointments.

Vet did an amazing job neutering by boy Fynn! Small incision, and he didn't mess with it at all after we took the cone off. Highest recommended vet in our area, in my opinion.

Dr. Mike and his wife Kathy are extremely caring people who have a heart for animals. I sought out their business because it gave me a small town country vet feel, like what I grew up with. Dr. Mike also continues to seek out and learn up to date technology and techniques. Honest people and very fair prices!

First time with my new pup. They were very nice and I didn't have to wait long. My puppy had an allergic reaction to her shots but I called the after hours number and the vet told me to get Benadryl. She was up and running around in a couple of hours.

Dr. Mike is a great vet. He is very thorough in his examinations of your pet. You can tell he and Mrs. Kathy really love animals. Mrs. Kathy is super sweet. I know my babies are in good hands when I take them there.

My daughter, an Animal Science major at Fort Valley State University stopped by your office very recently to inquire about work or intern opportunities at your clinic. An older woman came out in the lobby and told my child that she didn’t know why they weren’t teaching kids anything at her university. Then she tried to backpedal and say they don’t hire the university students because of insurance reasons. How dare you insult my child or her historic university. Shame on you. She and her university are owed an apology for this horrible behavior. She never should have been exposed to this type of racism in this day and age. This is unacceptable.

Y'ALL. These guys are so awesome and kind. Let me tell y'all a story:Someone dumped a cat on our road and she found her way to our home. Shortly after she showed up, she got really hurt. And I mean, really hurt. Her back foot had gotten degloved. I ended up bringing her here and he took care of her. After doing some research after dropping her off, (I don't suggest looking up that kind of injury) I really thought he was going to have to amputate. After a long, 3 month recovery, she got to keep her leg. Considering the kind of injury she had, the scarring is actually pretty minimal.

This place is very welcoming. I called they took my fur baby in the next day for his foot. They were super nice about greeting us and treating my babies foot. My baby loved Dr Mike and his staff. . We will be going back .😊

We moved to Ga a little over 3 yrs ago and have been taking all our babies there. Service was ok they seem rushed always but our babies have been healthy so we thought so I wasn’t worried. We had an awful experience with our 1 1/2 old Whippet on December 8th, she tore her side open on the field fence chasing what we think was a deer. We took her in right away that morning waited til 8am and knocked on their door. Cathy was annoyed because we knocked and when she opened and saw the gash on her side proceeded to tell us that this was the day she had to get her hair done and they needed to pay there taxes. We were stunned. We asked if there was any way Dr. Mike could look at her and when she went back to ask he was angry, he said to Cathy there was no way he would look at her and we would have to just leave her over night. We were shocked and disappointed that someone who is suppose to take care of our babies just couldn’t be bothered to even look at her. We called Smith Veterinary in Perry and they saw her right away. Dr. Kristen was great and explained that she tore the skin away from the muscle and the injury was very critical, she would probably not have made it through the night.

We’ve done service with them in the past, however when our dog had an emergency and they were the closest we were turned away. And she hung up on me! With that being said I have no confidence in their services due to the fact they turned us away when e we needed them.

Mr Mike and Ms Kathy are both amazing people. They care deeply about the well being of your pets and understand we want to do as much for them as possible without breaking the bank. By having reasonable pricing it allows us as pet parents to provide better care for our pets and piece of mind knowing not only is it affordable but we will not be judged on whether we can afford a visit or not. I've lived here for about 40 years and have had experiences with many of the vets in the area. Magnolia is tied for my #1 favorite vet. The couple that runs this facility is super sweet. I am in and out quickly. Prices are competitive. It is always clean

Great vet! I can't say enough good about this vet and his staff. My Brandy had a serious stone issue which required surgery and I am so pleased with the care she was given while she had to be there. The prices are great for the care given, in fact much less than you would pay else where for sub par care. The vet took the time to speak to me every step of the way so that I knew what to expect. I'm very very happy to have found this vet.

This place is wonderful! They took the best care of our cat that had been hit by a car. They did everything they could and kept us informed all the way. They are VERY reasonable in price and just wonderful to deal with. Our cat is able to come home after getting some surgery. I can not recommend this place enough if you care about your animals. Great place!

About May 2019 we took our boy cat that was failing health and was not eating to this vet. They kept him overnight and we picked him up the next day. He started eating and had greatly improved his health. Now, he has gained about 5 pounds and is in excellent health and will likely have a long life. I highly recommend this vet for your pet. R. Dr Jim n mrs Kathie were very nice and knowledgeable. Took very good care of my cat. Try to call them about 3 to 4 times as their fax machine is connected to the same phone line but they will answer n try to get u in asap. Reasonable prices. They do have room n board for pets.
