I live in Savannah and I travel to Fort Stewart for my dog’s veterinary need. They are very knowledgeable. If they can not provide a treatment, they will recommend a vet that can. Do not try and call between 1130 and 1300. They are closed during that time.I have not had a problem scheduling appointments over the phone.

I've called multiple times during normal bussiness hours and they don't answer the phone. You have to register with them to have pets on post and I don't have the schedule to just walk in. It's astounding how many places on post practice this whole refusing to answer the phone thing.

Took both my cat and dog here and service was fast(even when making appointments), helpful, and affordable. The Army can do some things really well!!!! Dr. Jones specifically made my cats time more manageable and fun. Chris was a huge help with both my dog and cat while we waited for the vets to do the last exams.

The vet and tech are amazing, and even though I brought in two dogs an a cat, they handled it very well and in a timely manner. I really appreciate how they treated my German Shepherd who is nervous of strangers, and that they talked me through everything they needed. Also, it’s incredibly affordable in comparison to other vets! So yeah, if you’re military come here to be well taken care of.

Had an emergency with my dog were a snake bit her face and they said they wouldn’t take her because we didn’t have an appointment scheduled. And on a previous occasion I have been trying to set an appointment with the clinic and no one picks up the phone over all just a bad clinic for your pets.

I called them so many times they never answer the phone even when it says it's the operation hours. I ended up trying to email them that doesn't work email is not valid. You cannot even leave a message on their phone so they say call to make an appointment that it's really hilarious how can you make an appointment Wednesday people never answer the phone really funny

Took my elderly cat here and my younger pregnant cat. Younger pregnant cat was fine after visit. My elderly cat not so much. They “tried” to do blood work for his possible diabetes and he supposedly had an anxiety attack (13yrs never had anxiety issues with multiple vet trips). I’m not sure what they did to him but on top of possible diabetes he now (since yesterday) breathes like he’s snoring all the time. I’m not sure what these people did because of Covid we can’t go in with our pets but my dogs have appointments tomorrow and my cat will attend.Update: our cat died this morning

my husband and i are retired military, we been going to ft stewart vet for over 12 yrs even tho we have left the area.we enrolled our pets at macdill base vet service an they are horrible, they dont do anything except shots for ur pets, u have to go on the economy for everything else, i had to take my dog to pets smart for her to get checked for itching, they tried to get me to do so much extra, long story short, for what should have cost me about $40 it cost us $495, an that was not for medicine either thats extra or follow up either.So i unrolled out of macdill airforce vet, an re enrolled them back at ft stewart, the people are sympathetic, they care about ur pets and your family, Doc Jones is amazing, they listen to you and they dont rush you they care about your pets as if they were their own. Thank you to ft stewart vet services in Hinesville Ga.
