I wanted to comment on an ABSOLUTELY GREAT fishing trip on the Stars and Stripes on Aug 6, 2023, Capt Rusty and First Mate/Deck Hand (Nate) went over and above to make our 6 hour deep sea trip a wonderful time and huge success! We limited out on the fish we were targeting with no problems. Although we encountered a minor mechanical issue on the trip in, Capt Rusty and Nate handled it professionally and quickly. They ensured we were not negatively impacted impacted in any way and they kept us informed of what was happening the entire trip. This trip Ft Moore offers thru their MWR program at Destin is one of the best services for service members and veterans I have ever experienced in my 30 year experience over MANY MANY military services. Thanks so much for a memorable trip and keep up this deep sea trip!!! We will be going again as often as we can.

We have been renting a travel trailer from them for year. A couple of years ago they started needing a form from your insurance company proving that your insurance would cover any damages. We called every local insurance company and none will provide this form saying it's against the law. They cannot cover something that you don't own. That the company that you rent from is to supply the insurance and add the charge to your rental. They are telling people that USAA will provide this form. I talked to USAA and they said this is not true. That they cannot provide any insurance for a rental. What is the truth here?

Today I am only commenting on MWR Bingo on Wold Ave. Walked in at 1:30, after they had opened at noon. N O GREETING from any of the MWR staff, (at least 3 employees behind counters). Husband and I sauntered about, read signs for Bingo night in September. Still no interaction on staff's part. Two more staff walk by us from a snack bar type area. Lingered by counter reading some literature on counter. Decided that such unfriendly manners did not deserve our business and we walked out the automatic doors feeling a bit like we were invisible to staff the whole time. Is it SO hard to greet customers, or ask "Can I help you?" Staff needs a Customer 101 refresher course. Still don't understand how people get these jobs on base and then disappoint on a regular basis. Would welcome a comment from management, but am not holding my breath.Oh, forgot to mention we were the only customers in the place, not like it was super busy.

I can’t comment on the specific activities the other reviewers are venting about. That said, my impression of the Fort Benning MWR is extremely positive. In my 30-years of service, and being stationed at 7 different locations - I’ve never seen an MWR with so many (and variety) of activities to provide recreation for the troops and their families. I currently reside near Robins Air Force Base, but frequently drive the 2-hours to Fort Benning just to watch, or participate in, a Fort Benning MWR event. So if you work for Fort Benning MWR, don’t be discouraged by the few people that will find something to complain about. Keep up the good work.

New to the game hall and wife wanted to play. Not sure how to make bingo confusing, but they managed to do it here. Wanted to play a 9 dollar game with me and the wife and after getting a ten minute talk of options that sounded more complicated them quantum theory, ended up paying $30 for one person to play. "Oh well, I'll sit next to the wife and try to figure it out before investing another 30" I thought. Nope, they kicked me out because I didn't have an iPad.Didn't see too many young customers in there, maybe this is why.

This is such a bass ackwards place! Their softball Advisories need to get their stuff together. Accused us of breaking the rules that were posted in the MOI, however they weren’t posted and they revised them that very next day!

Attitude readjustment severely needed, I'd suggest having someone else answer your calls that can at least attempt to help when its needed.
