It’s a commissary. It’s ok. It’s much safer to shop here than being held at gunpoint somewhere off post while you try to put your groceries in the car. If you’re only here for a few things and want a basket, they’re rarely at the front where you walk into the store. Produce looks good though.

The cashier need to know that they are dealing with a lot of, soldiers with some type of medical problems. And Majority Doesn’t have any military background so they don’t understand soldiers, When they got hired.You can’t say or make false accusation or anyone.

It’s always crowded there with dependas or retirees that do not move with a sense of purpose. The baggers are like sharks for their tips (buddy im half your age and twice as jacked, I don’t need you to push my cart) so 90% of people go to the self checkout line, again not moving with any sense of urgency so the line backs up half way down the frozen food aisles. They need to have set times for different groups, active, retired, etc. Soldiers in uniform do not get priority.

Not a fan of the produce, it is ok for a few things but I find myself here every few days just because prices are often better and it is more convenient.Really wish they would repaint their parking lot lines, no one goes in correct direction and the speeders in parking lot are ridiculous even with the few speed bumps.

I was greatly disappointed in the quality of this store. It was poorly stocked and employees seemed rude and uncaring. Floors are destroyed, everything was dirty and felt old. Many sections were damaged or non working. Shopping carts were old and loud. So far this is the worst looking commissary I've ever been too. With some of the worst selection with the Korea camp red cloud just barely losing. Also why do employees block walking paths with pallets during store hours.

By far the worst commissary I've ever been to. The store is dingy and dirty, half the freezers and fridge units are out of order, the product selection is abysmal, the shelves are rarely stocked, there are expired products all over the store, the produce is limp and half rotten, and I question the cleanliness and safety procedures of their meat department. If you must shop here, do so with extreme caution! You have to check the dates on everything and really inspect any fresh food you buy. And don't bother trying to ask an employee for help, they are few and far between.

Work in progress, good prices and pretty good selection. Still feel that the produce doesn't last as long as it should, and it will be nice when they are done renovating and stop moving everything around. Perfect for it typical weekly grocery run.

My family loves shopping here. The prices are decent for the most part, there are some things that change overnight like the dog food we purchase, we get it from here because it’s usually about $11 cheaper. Then we noticed the price went up $12.But the meat is pretty good, nice selection fair prices.We will most likely keep doing our shopping here.

It is always a pleasure to have this opportunity for family members of the service. There are times when they are repairing or redesigning the place so there could be inconveniences. But all in all it has great prices and the meat alone is a good reason to try it out. It does get packed around pay days and the shelves get pretty bare after the crowd comes in and goes out like a flash of lightning so I recommend going early. I would spend double at another chain of stores.

I noticed expired food on the shelf and told an employee they said they’ll take care of it. I go back the next day to grab something and noticed the expired stuff still sitting on the shelf. I hear lots of stories of people saying they sell expired food. It’s just better to go somewhere else.

Great selection of food and service is friendly. Prices are also good. However, watch out for moldy produce and remember to bring cash if you want the grocery baggers to bring your items to your vehicle. I was told by a cashier one day that they only got paid in tips.

We found everything that was on our list. Friendly service, fast check out when we went. Only thing I couldn't get was a certain brand of carton cigarettes. Don't really need them anyway right. You are required to wear a mask inside. Update: shortly before Easter 2022 mask are mo longer required.

Decently stocked store, however my main complaint is that the prices on things aren't always accurate or even there! I love their deli and sushi bar. They have great prices on ice cream, too (lower than Walmart). Their bathrooms are clean and employees are kind.

Very clean. Decent selection. The store needs to fix the Available Register Light Display. Parking is great. Produce is good. I'd personally like to see more Gluten Free Products for my child with Celiac's Disease. There's no health food stores in the area.

Far from good but also not bad. Honestly the biggest problem is the selection of meats. These are usually snatched up by the women who hover around the area like vultures waiting and blocking anyone that dares to come close while the fresh stock is put out. Also, everyone wanders around like zombies in the middle of the aisles and do not even attempt to make room for others. There are rarely enough cashiers to handle the volume of customers during peak hours. On the plus side, prices are competitive, good selection of items, and no tax.

I shop here because the prices are typically better than the average grocery store. However, as of late the selection has been terrible, shelves empty, and long lines at self checkout. I'm all for independence but if you've got a walker and 40 items in the cart, don't use self checkout.

Things are much better now that all the renovations are complete. As always, their staff is amazing and super helpful, especially when things are not where they used to be and I need help finding them. I'm still sad I can't find some items they used to stock, but I have been told that now that construction is complete they're going to be restocking items that were removed.

Prices are good but the inventory has alot of the same things filling the shelves. Watch out for the expiration dates too. Seems like it's not as good as it was say 7 months ago. Meat selection is not good. Sometimes the produce is questionable.

Very impressed with the wide variety of food including meat department and Boars Head food. Pricing are good, store is well lit, ample parking and all the shelves and glass doors were very clean. I say this as a civilian going with my soldier and his family. Very nice to know a super selection is there in fresh fruit and vegetables, the meat and the other departments as well.

Good renovations. Prices better than most stores but not the case on all items so do your research before you shop. No sales tax but there is a facility fee and you must tip the baggers. Be sure to bring cash to tip them.

The workers are very rude and unprofessional. They are always moving items around. It’s been under construction for the longest and food has dust all over it. Also, the prices are extremely high. One more thing before I forget, my breed was molded. This place should be shut down and reconstructed and the staff should be replaced.

The store was not crowded and checkout was immediately available without waiting on a Sunday morning before the 4th of July. I was disappointed that all of the ribs and chicken wings were gone. This was the first time that has happened in 15 years as I normally shop days in advance of holidays. It was a pleasant experience.

Great prices but they charge a fee per item it looked like on my last receipt but it's not called a tax. Large selection for international foods. Haven't seen a case lot sale since we've been here 6 months.

We frequently shop at the commissary and he px even though we have to travel an hour to get here. We haven't been here for a while but we were looking forward to it as always.It was a little disappointing this time because many items weren't available like, fresh fruit, German food items and bakery.The deli used to carry a wide range of German sliced meats and sausage but this time there was nothing available at all,. Brown eggs were sold out, the chicken shelf was pretty empty and looked nasty.The employees at the deli were rude and acted like we were disturbing them, I felt really strange asking for my two items.Prices were high on most items, some were just ok.All in all it wasn't worth traveling this far, two stars for cleanliness inn three majority off the store.

Veggies are fresh 70% of the time which is good compared to other stores.Costumer service is not the best.I've gone there a couple times and they don't have chicken breast at all and they just wait for the truck to come in instead of just having enough supplies and better management.

Great place to shop. It's clean and everything is marked with signs to easily find the items that you are looking for. They have more handicap carts than any place in Columbus Phenix City area. The staff throughout the commissary readily helps with proud attitudes. Most of the products are priced lower than any of the competition.
