Drove 8 miles from Alabama and arrive at the Fort Gaines store at 7:55 PM on April 3rd 2024. As walking up to the door was told from someone inside that they were closed. Post hours are 8AM til 8PM. You need to change the operation hours or have your employees stay open till closing time

The workers are nice people but this place is not like it used to be. I think the new owners need to step it up and get it right and invest in it

This is a VERY PLEASANT place to shop. The clerks are always friendly and make you feel welcomed. Despite a logistics slow down, the variety of fresh vegetables encourage you to make this a future stop.

This is the only place to get something quick when at the lake. However this store needs a lot of upgrade. The last two times I have been in to buy meat it is pitiful. Meat is not fresh and the chicken is bad. I use to love to stop in here but the young ladies at the front have no personality. They could care less if you stop there or not. Owner needs to do something this store is going down hill fast. I am not going to buy from here until I know things are better.

OK selection of groceries. I guess I'm spoiled by shopping at superstore type grocery stores. The young lady at the register was friendly and greeted us and wished us a good day. Nice little "hometown" grocery store.

Dropped in to get a few things while camping nearby. Dirty store and dirty looks. Had some stuff we needed, some stuff that looked like rotten meat, and everything overpriced. Walked out without a purchase and headed for DG down the road.

Everything looks as if the place is on its way to shut down I got a frozen cake from the freezer section ,most of them were bare,but it was outdated from a year an a half ago! Could not get over how poorly an run down its been kept!

Prices are a bit higher then other grocery stores. Produce prices are much higher. Watch the produce you buy there, especially potatoes. Usually have to throw half of them away within a week due to rot

First time going to this store. I went for hamburger meat which they had and for a very good price. I will definitely be going back to this place again.

Wow talk about an old store. I give them a high five for opening their doors every morning. I live in abbeville but i go to Rubos for small things. Their expensive but they are a town store and i support that.

Very convenient when you're at the lake and need to run get some food!They do not sale alcohol, but there's a package store practically across the street.

Great people Mr. Flint who manages the store is really nice they have all your Staples plus they sell firewood and do deer processing it's just a nice small town country grocery store

Needs to be shut down. It's not clean. You have to smell dang near everything before you buy it. The fruit are no good so don't waste your time buying them.

Love this place the manger is very nice and works with you he goes that extra mile and the price of the food is ok the food is fresh all the meat is and the catfish wow you can't get it any fresher unless you cought it yourself
