Every visit is a great experience. They have fresh food, are always stocked, and have a large selection as well. Staff are always nice and helpful. Lines are never too long. Baggers will help bring the cart out to the car for those that need assistance. A sushi stand makes fresh sushi every day. Produce is always fresh. Great place.

All around great shopping!! You do have to comparison shop because there are some super high prices on some items....Aldi salted butter $2.85lb Commissary Challenge butter $3.99lb. Clean, friendly, great staff!!

Great selection and international foods. Fresh produce and great prices! I like that there always lines open and I'm not forced to use self checkout. Cashiers and baggers are always friendly and helpful!

5 star review here. This grocery store brings back so many memories of me going grocery shopping with my grandparents back in 87- 1995. The curtesy that is shown to the shoppers, the cashiers are always nice and willing to help and not rude and mad because they feel like they have to be at work. The baggers take their time to help load the groceries in your vehicle. You don't find many stores to treat you like the Fort Eisenhower Commissary does!! Hats off to you guys!! Keep up the great work!!

The best commissary I've been to the front end will help you with anything the cashiers will help you with anything the baggers make you feel at home specially one guy tall guy he is so funny and very down to earth I forgot his name I think bag of 126 and and bagger 86 is great

Slightly horrified to discover the snack cheese I bought for my kids 2 weeks ago had expired SIX MONTHS AGO, and one was completely moldy. To be fair, I haven't tried to get my money back yet, but frankly I don't have time and this is unacceptable from any grocery store.

Day before the 4th, only 1 lane open and self check out..pretty disappointing. No one helping to bag etc.. no meat hardly on shelves. Produce selection was great. Isles were clean.. cashier helped an elderly veteran out the door, but because she was rushing she was pulling him with his cart(he had a cane and needed to walk slow..she pulls him to the curb with his 2 carts and goes back inside..this hurt my heart.

Customer Service is just mediocre. Store item stocking is confusing, having items that should be in the same aisle located in separate aisles, for example evaporated milk and condensed milk both in separate aisles for whatever reason, literally any other grocery store has them right next to each other cuz it makes sense but not here. Commissary does not sell fresh fish all fish is Frozen besides what they have in the sushi area & more often than not the sushi is trash, fish is in bad condition and rice starts to mold. Ingredients say white rice not yellow brownish rice with larvae moving around. Almost everything that is sold in this commissary is within 2 days of the expiration date. Don't even bother shopping here and you're just going to get mad you're much better off shopping literally anywhere else.

They built a new Class 6 and have attached it to the PX.....guess they did this 3 years ago (who knew, ha). Nice clean space.

- store is clean and the workers are nice.- Some Sunday no milk or eggs left maybe because they close on Monday.- some vegetables are expensive ( cilantro +$2.xx/ bundle, lime $0.69/each )- I believe they charge 5% tax for everything even you buy food. ( at Walmart no taxes for food)- self check out always long line. ( maybe just hire only 2 cashiers to lower the cost better prices for customers)- No pressure for tipping the baggers but it’s a great pressure, I don’t have a gut to not tip little old ladies. So we always use self checkout.We still shop here because we live on base. Sometimes we go to Walmart but we don’t like the feeling unsafe, car might get break into, pick pockets, or etc..3 stars for all the nice good workers.In the end of the day .. NOBODY REALLY CARE.

Prices and availability aren't really worth the trip anymore. $1.87 for a totinos cheese pizza. The tiny square ones.. Thats an.80 markup in a year. 🤯 Ridiculous.

Closed on Mondays and the self checkout line can be backed up quite a bit. However, the deli people are fantastic. They bust they butts to make things happen during lunch services. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to all the service members!

The lady at meat department are very helpful and very professional, she did go beyond of her duty to do the special slice of 10 lbs skinny beefs for my Christmas party. Quote " Even though I'm fixing to get off, I will do that for you " What a excellent service and she deserved pay raise.

We primarily continue to shop here due to its convenient location. However, the selection and quality of items do seem to be lacking in some areas. We've spotted some visibly old produce and have also found packages of bacon past its "best by" date. And while the baggers all seem polite and do a good job, we wish there was a line option for people with a lot more than just a few items who want to check out themselves and bag their own groceries. This was an option provided at our last commissary that we frequently took advantage of.

Horrible place; it is dirty, poorly stocked, over priced, opens late 0900 to 1000 and closes super early. Crazy.The one self check out lady tries to touch you and hangs around you when you are trying to check out. The whole point of self check out is to not have to deal with the check out people.Stopped going to the commissary as I have much better experiences with the local walmart which isn't that much further away. Better employees, better priced, better stocked, and more convenient hours of operation.

This facility is for DoD card holders only. Great prices on so many items. Small variety and checkout lines are long on certain days. Some workers are friendly and helpful, many are not really. The store is kept pretty clean. It has the best prices on bigger ticket items so I'll continue to return.

The building itself is clean that being exterior and interior.The workers are typically kind.My only issue is that old and or rotten fruit / vegetables are left out. I've seen some groups covered with Nats. There's rotten meat out at times as well. I've wasted a lot of money hoping that I'll purchase good meat but when I get home it smells repulsive.I no longer purchase meat, fruit or vegetables there.I'd also like to mention that the store is CONSTANTLY being changed around inside. So don't expect it to stay the same. Because it won't. Ever. Store visits take awhile because I often have to find what I'm looking for all over again because it was moved to the other side of the store.
