We have used Serenity K9’s advanced training program for our 1.5 year old Frenchie, and she is much better at responding to various commands. I can even walk her unleashed now. Lauren and her team have been very responsive, flexible and professional. They even took our dog to get her shots while they had her! They also provide tons of support after the training program including lifetime support via phone, text and in-person, client coaching classes, private sessions, in-home sessions, group outings and much more.Very pleased with their support and will be using their boarding services as well.

I have had some experience training dogs for competition, but was having issues transitioning that training to everyday life. Serenity K9 made a huge difference, helping me to enjoy my dogs more. I adopted my dog, Lhotse, when he was about six months old. He had lived outside his whole life previously and was basically feral (though super sweet!). My biggest struggle was that he would run away chasing things, and wouldn’t listen AT ALL once he took off. Ten days with Serenity K9 and he was a whole new dog! He still had EVERYTHING I loved about him, but now he comes back when called and listens to other instructions! I can’t describe the difference it has made to my life. If you need someone to train your pup, this is the ONLY place I would recommend. Lauren and her staff are incredible. Also, once you do training you get access to their client events and boarding! I KNOW he is in good hands when I have to leave town, Serenity is probably the only place I would feel 100% comfortable leaving him at. Cannot speak highly enough. The photo is from either his training or boarding- they are SO great about sending photos whenever I miss him!

Lauren is the best dog trainer in Middle Georgia. Not only does she provide lifetime support, she has built a community of dog lovers who are there to encourage others to incorporate their dogs into their everyday lives. She is knowledgeable and has given us a life with dogs who don’t rush the door every time someone comes in, who walk on leash by our sides and come when called. We sent both of our yellow lab rescues there and won’t have another dog who isn’t trained by Lauren and her staff!

I am beyond pleased by my experience with SK9 I was skeptical at first but how close in location they are to me and the reviews helped me decide to hire them to help with my German shepherd puppy, it's like I have a new dog that is eager to learn! We started with Serenity k-9 two years ago when George was 6 months old. I really thought there was no hope. He was so bad! LOL He stayed there 5 weeks and came back a totally different dog but with that same happy go lucky attitude. Now they have a boarding facility and only take dogs they have worked with which I think is very cool. He has boarded twice, and I have never felt more thankful that I didn't have worry about him being crated all day long. They reinforce training and they take them on field trips to reinforce training in public places. They also have a forever warranty so you can make an appointment, go back and they will help you with whatever it is you need to work on with your dog for FREE! George has been there now for one month because I had surgery and I could not physically take care of him for a while. I cannot wait to pick him up tomorrow! Let me just tell you Lauren and Shelby are the best. I'm so glad they are close to me so they can care for him if I need them to. 5 Stars!!!

I adopted Bailey (pit mix) from my local animal control center NM almost 2 years ago. She initially had a lot of anxiety and social issues (scared of strangers and other dogs) but I was determined to work through everything. After consulting many trainers, trying different training programs, and different training tools I felt helpless as any progress we made, we would take 3 steps back due to a bad interaction or a situation I did not know how to handle. As a result she became very reactive and I worried that she would end up in a situation where she would get hurt or hurt someone else.Fortunately on my move to GA, I came across Serenity K9’s page. They offered a few different type of training programs, but what I really appreciated was Lauren listening to my concerns and training goals, recommending a program, then tailoring that program to exactly what Bailey needed. I’ll admit I was reluctant to send Bailey away for training, and those 3-4 weeks felt like months. But Lauren reassured me and sent me occasional updates on Bailey’s progress which reassured me that I made the right choice.Currently it has been about 1 month post training and there has been a night and day difference in Bailey’s self confidence and behavior. I’m forever thankful for all the hard work Team Serenity K9 put toward Bailey. Bailey continues to make progress everyday, and I’m so happy I am able to include more in my everyday life. This pitty that was once too anxious to walk down a busy street can now be found snoring under the table at our favorite dog-friendly restaurants.

I highly recommend Serenity K-9!!! I was having issues with my one year old GSD, Ranger. He was extremely whiny, leash pulling, & lacked impulse control (oh...look bunny rabbit & off he went)! We had completed three training classes at Petsmart but were still having issues. After review several training options & a desire to be able to enjoy my dog, I chose Serenity K-9 Advanced Off Leash Board & Train. During his training he spent a couple of weeks at their facility working on his behavioral issues & commands. Before releasing Ranger to me, Lauren & Shelby went over how to continue his lessons at home, as to not have him backslide (yes, you have to continue the work at home). After getting him home I was still having huge problem with his whining. They had already informed me they were unable to really address the whining because he rarely whined with them (of course I'm his person & the source of his bad habit). But he was doing extremely well on all of his other commands. No leash pulling & his impulse control was apparent. A week after having him home & unable to figure out how to control the whining on my own, I contacted Lauren & she set me up an appointment at their facility to address the whining. He did whine slightly there but they were able to address it pretty quickly. However, I get him home & the whining once again starts back up. Apparently, he was used to the bad habit at home & he would slid back into it immediately upon entering. Once again about a week later, I contacted Lauren about the whining. This time she & Shelby came to my home to address the whining issue in Ranger's environment. He gave them a small show starring his whining. Thank goodness he did! It was only a small sample but they could see how he was reacting to me in the home. They were able to address the whining pretty quickly & show me how to handle him in the future. WOW! What a difference! The whining is very minimal now. And now we can enjoy a relaxing night without excessive whining. YAY!!! Thank you so much Lauren & Shelby!!! Y'all went above & beyond to assist me with Ranger.

I had so much anxiety with my dog Sonny before Serenity K9. I was afraid to take him anywhere because he would bark at everything, had no sense of boundaries and would pull me the whole time we went for walks. I was blessed with Lauren and Shelby to help me stay calm around my dog and helped him calm down around everything else. If anyone needs help with their dog I can't recommend Serenity K9 enough. My chocolate lab went to Shelby and Lauren at 8 months old for Advanced training. He arrived a puppy full of energy and lacked manners with other dogs and people. He would jump on people, he didn’t come when we called him, he still had few accidents in the house, he wasn’t able to sit long enough for us to get his attention. 2 1/2 short weeks later, we got back a well mannered mature version of our puppy we sent. He was able to follow commands on and off his leash. He actually enjoyed paying attention waiting for his next command. We were able to take him to the ball field around adults and children without him jumping on them or pulling us to get to them. He also has not had any accidents in our house since he has returned home. He is well mannered around other dogs as well. We have been so grateful for Serenity K9 and have recommended them to many people we know who have also been just as please with their results.

I could not be happier about my experience with Serenity K9. My 1 1/2 year old started his training there as a sweet, but anxious, defensive, and guarded boy. I can't say enough good things about Serenity K9! Lauren and Shelby are fantastic! Training has changed mine and my dogs lives. They can be included so much more now in our daily life. We can now enjoy taking our dogs with us whether it is on trips or simply when we go out to eat to a dog friendly restaurant. I'm able to have so much more control of my dogs even off leash or when we have guest over. I don't know how we did it before training, I couldn't imagine things any other way. Serenity K9 has made all the difference in the world for my dogs and I! When I adopted a new puppy, my older dog was having a hard time adjusting and there was the added challenge of trying to train a new puppy. I knew that I needed some help and I am so glad that I called Lauren. I have been extremely happy with the results of training. I now know how to properly interact with my dogs. In addition, Lauren has been so helpful with followup questions and aftercare. I even board them with her when I travel for a tune up! I could not be more pleased with the service. OPHELIA and I love it. Everyday is a work in progress. Walks are so easy now. We have had no accidents in the house since she has been home. She does not run and jump on strangers either. And she sleeps all night in her kennel.You would never know this location is a dog training facility. It clean, does not smell of dog, and quiet. I rarely heard or saw any other dogs than my own. It looks like a peaceful country farm retreat. I wish I could have gone and left my dog at home.

Lauren and Shelby are THE dog whisperers! I cannot say enough positive things about Serenity K9. We got two lab pups after my husband passed away to help us heal, and within a few months we were exhausted with the training process. Lauren and Shelby taught our girls in a matter of a couple weeks how to properly walk on leashes and how to channel all of their puppy energy properly. The training they provided us one on one was without a doubt the best money ever spent! Maggie and Dixie act like completely different dogs now. They are so much calmer and such a joy! We love Serenity K9! We took our first dog Jolene to Lauren and Shelby at 6 months for foundational and off-leash training. She's super smart and obedient, but has a ton of energy. We wanted her to be able to relax and not feel like she had to be on high-alert within our home and when we go out because we love taking her places. The training was perfect for us and so worth it! As a client, Jolene can stay with them when we go out of town on longer trips and it gives us peace of mind while traveling. I live less than 1 mile from the Serenity K9 facility. I tried to call their number aleast 10.times at various times and days of the week no one answered the phone for any of those calls. I stopped by their location twice and there were no humans or canines in sight either time. I still felt compelled to reach out so I filled out their online form and I did receive a text message reply and arranged a phone consultation for today. The appointed call did not happen so I text messaged to let Shelby (the person who made the appointment for Lauren). She replied with a text that they had a scheduling issue and asked to set another appointment for Sunday. That was not doable for us as we spend Sundays going to church and with family. Then Shelby texted a list of selection times for us. Now, I'll never know if this trainer will work and be wonderful for our dogs because I am frustrated and it is obvious to me that they do not like human interaction. Either that they do not want humans to see the condition of their facility. Some people like the technilogical type of communication. I'm old school and prefer face to face interaction. I don't really understand why one person can spend a good amount of time text messaging someone about why they can't pick up the phone and have an actual conversation. Makes no since to me. I don't understand why they even list a phone number on their website if human interaction is so repulsive to them. I don't understand why their gates are lock up during regular business hours. I wonder where the pups are and where they are locked up. I do however, completely understand security measures set to protect the canines so I get it. However that coupled with the other issues makes me aware that these trainers are not for us and our precious furbabies. I hope they get a public relations partner who can deal with customer service with humans.

When I got my puppy, she was completely untrained. She refused to go potty outside, would not listen to any commands, nor was she crate trained. I placed her in the Serenity K9 advanced training camp where she was gone from me for 2-3 weeks, it was one of the hardest things for me and my family. When she came back, we saw massive improvement. She came back to us being very well trained in all aspects we were struggling to train her with. All the trainers were just lovely to work with and I will definitely be advising other pet lovers to work with this great group of people!!

Lauren and Shelby worked miracles on our 4-year-old dog. The Advanced Board and Training package gave our dog the discipline and guidance needed to improve his quality of life. Our dog is so much better behaved and happier. He is still the same loving dog as before, but with the training to make life easier for our dog and for us.They also provide lifetime support to make sure you are doing everything correctly at home. They do thorough “go home” sessions that teach you everything you need to know to transition your dog back into your home. They have also been very responsive to any questions we have had.Lauren, Shelby and Sheryl are fabulous to work with and their work speaks volumes. I highly recommend Serenity K9; they are great!

First and foremost...AMAZING people! The trainers, the staff, just the nicest, down to earth and knowledgeable people that make it very clear that they love their job AND every dog! The physical location of the "school" is perfect, it is surrounded by woods, plenty of room for the dogs to roam and tucked away for the safety and security of the pups. I plan on sending every future puppy to Lauren so they have the best possible start! Our pup is almost 2yrs old and had confidence problems, they brought him in and gave him boundaries to become confident in, and then they taught my wife, kids and me to continue the training at home. It has changed, completely, our ability to interact with our dog! He enjoys being around us more and we LOVE being with him!

I tried numerous training programs before I found Serenity K9. Nothing else clicked until my dog completed Serenity K9’s board and train program. Lauren taught me how to read my dog’s behavior and provide the leadership he needs. This training program has completely changed my life and my dog’s life. We are so thankful for Lauren and Shelby! At first I was very reluctant to send our puppy away for 2 weeks, but after reading reviews and doing further research, decided to take the leap. Our Goldendoodle was sweet as can be, but was exhausing and wild. He was difficult to walk, jumped on the kids, nipped for attention and would bark constantly. It was shocking to see how well mannered he was being at Serenity for 2 weeks! He is such a good boy now and an absolute joy to walk and be around. He rides so much better in the car as well!
