Friendly staff. Very helpful. The problem is, I bought a whole chicken today, dated 04/23. It was marked down. Got it home, opened it and it rotten smelling, really bad. They returned my money. Buyers beware of reduced chicken.

The shelves are organized and logical, which makes the shopping experience pleasant. However, the restrooms are embarrassing. A complete Overhaul new floors, metal doors, paint, replacing broken locks & paper holders, comodes & and cleaning, cleaning - cleaning!! If you sell food, your restrooms should be pristine, like in a restaurant. Please revamp restrooms!..

This store is hit or miss. Sub sandwich prices are great, but the folks who make them are either completely inexperienced or old hands. Staffing in the deli is very uneven. Sometimes there aren't enough people to make the chicken and potato salads or run the hot food bar. Don in the deli is a prince. The store manager is wonderful, but there doesn't seem to be a manager in the deli. Cold food is terrific, but hot food is mostly slop. Excellent salad bar. I'll bet things would be much better if they had more reliable help. Personnel is a big problem these days.

I want to like Ingles Market as it's a great local resource. Alas, here are a few annoyances. 1- the self service check outs inside. Hate them. 2- Deli Counter. Sure good if you don't mind being ignored for more than a few minutes before being served. 3- Gas pumps. Just stopped using them as sometimes when using them they say I have a bad card. Usually happens when I have a lot of fuel points. My card is always good at the other gas stations in town. However, I do like their deli counter when you can get service

I love the Starbucks in this location. The baristas are always helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone is always smiling and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Overall a great place to get groceries and Starbucks drinks. Dylan and Davis are the best!

Salad bar is always awesome! We love Patrick who works in the food prep area and handles salad bar set up. We always look for him when we get to the store because he always spreads kindness. He loves our two dogs that are also regular shoppers here!!!

I would like to post about my recent phone call and interaction I had when I called this place of business. It is as follows: On Thursday evening, 02.01.2024. I had called to ask questions about this store's Friday meals they offer. When I called, I reached the Deli's team lead employee named Ms. Angel. And for me during my call, an Angel she was - this lady was absolutely remarkable to me, she was very articulate, she went beyond the call of duty during our call, she exemplified in my personal and professional opinion superb customer service that is very hard to come by these days, she was patient, very informative, extremely knowledgeable and one of the sweetest souls I've ever met - all of this was my experience during our phone call. She made recommendations, provided her suggestions to me. She made me feel like family. I highly recommend her to be the "face" for any business. I work in a career that involves me being on the "front lines" and being the first point of contact for my business so I understand what customer service in serving others should look like and be. And I will say, Angel has surpassed them all! It is because of my interaction with her is why I plan on visiting this store and spending my money in this grocery store more often. I reside in Macon, GA and this for me is worth the travel, why you may ask? Because if you want kindness, genuine authentic and helpful service, I recommend visiting Ingles Market store in Forsyth, GA and first go by their Deli and ask for Angel to help you. Just when I think it can't get any better I want to express my appreciation to Jana! I had a return and the front office was very busy Jana smiled at me and made all the busy look easy as she processed my return and meanwhile, Mr. Wesley asked if he could help me what teamwork. Jana is amazing I love her personality she is very down-to-earth and sincere. I have gotten spoiled by Melissa doing my shopping and the awesome curbside delivery they have so I don't get in as often as I used to but when I am in the store it's always a pleasure to see Jana and Mr. Wesley and Melissa. My husband and I will be moving in about three months and I will miss such excellent customer service. Keep up the great work. Let your eyes rest I reckon I am as chatty in reviews as I am in person. God Bless You.P.S. I forgot to mention I was also picking up RX and Mr. Davy was also super friendly he makes me laugh to.

Clean bright and always welcoming! It's usually an in and out visit to ingles, but even when it's not, we find great groceries and produce. Always helpful and bright employees. The gas station is always efficient on another note as well.

We get a sub made from the deli at least 2-3 times a week and these past two days have been a complete 180 experience from what I’m used to having. Yesterday I did the usual and waited in the sandwich line. Kierra B, a girl I haven’t seen at this station before assisted me. I am always kind and needless to say, I would much rather have bought all of the ingredients and made the sub at work myself. She had the nastiest attitude I’ve ever experienced. Today, I go in hoping that someone different is at the sub station. Unfortunately not, so Kierra assisted me again. I got the same “what you want” service and witnessed her being nasty to an older lady who asked if they had any chicken salad. She proceeded to ignore her and then look around and smack her lips. It was like someone was bending her arm to be there. This makes me want to find a new lunch routine or figure out her days off so I can get a sandwich that’s not smothered with attitude. Everyone else has assisted me with no issues and I enjoy going in every week other than these past two back to back experiences.

My wife and I have been shopping at Ingles in Jackson during the 20 years we've lived here. It shows on our latest receipt that "Year to date savings is $1093.29" So, if we "saved" that much, just imagine how much we've spent in one year! And you know what? Of the 3 or 4 managers at this store, only one has ever said "hello", "good morning", etc. to either of us, much less (Heaven forbid) ever speak our names. Yet, there ARE other customers we've seen each of these managers call out names, hug, joke and laugh with, etc. A few cash register clerks do smile, thank us for shopping, etc.Other Ingles we've shopped at have employees who are much friendlier; and we rarely see them! The management staff of the Jackson store is solely focused on profit to the exclusion of customer appreciation. Unless they know you from somewhere other than buying groceries at their store.

Visited this market for the first time and was so surprised at hiw clean and organized this place was. They had stuff in there deli, candy area that I have never seen. They had a sausage that is made in the Pigeon forge area that we can't find anywhere near the perry area. This will be our new favorite place to shop

This review is for their deli. It has great food but the service is terrible. I love going here for lunch but I only get an hour for lunch and it takes 20 minutes to get the food then I take it home to my wife for us to eat. I went there for lunch at 12 o’clock and there was one lady preparing food for a line of 5+ people. It wouldn’t have made me so angry if I didn’t see 10 workers stocking shelves in resupplying other areas. That should be done before lunchtime not while 7 people are in line trying to get lunch.
