I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Tara. She listens patiently to all of my concerns and answers my questions. My boys (dogs) love her techs and her. I love how she talks to the boys like they’re her own babies and how she gets on the big guy’s level and lets him approach her. We don’t have test results yet but she walked me through all the options and told me what she would do with her dogs. She and her staff are professional, friendly, and super sweet with our dogs. I love that they call with appointment reminders and check on them the day after vaccinations. I highly recommend this veterinary office!

The whole ataff is wonderful, we had to put our fur baby down last week and Tara made it as painless as possible. The whole staff is caring and compassionate. Nothing but good to say about this vet

We've had nothing but awesome experiences with Southern Paws. When our local vets can't get us in, Southern Paws makes it work and is worth the long drive. Their knowledge is absolutely top notch. They are terrific communicating with other clinics. Their prices are way more than fair. They don't pressure you at all, or pad bills with unnecessary things. They explain all the options.When our dog needed surgery to remove cancer, everyone else was scheduling out well over 2 months. Even though we weren't regular patients, Southern Paws got us in right away. They got all the info they needed (the office is very efficient and thorough!) so we could get scheduled immediately. And the work they did was superb. They navigated getting a max margin in a tricky area perfectly.Definitely recommend, even if you live than 35+ minutes away!

Needed refill of meds my dog has taken for years . It was made more complex than it needed to be . One lady who answered promised a call back but did not call back . After leaving a voice-mail, another lady called me back and was very pleasant but too late. I had my former vet take of it.Provider needs to be more selective about who she permits to answer her phone.

I recently went to Southern Paws Veterinary with my new puppy Ozzy. I had a great experience, everyone was extremely friendly. Tara was very down-to-earth, not only a talented veterinarian but a pet lover as well. My puppy absolutely fell in love with her. Great prices, great service, excellent care. This place is excellent. I would recommend this business to anyone. I'm very very satisfied. I thought that my buddy would ( sugar) had kidney problems. That was not even the problem. The vet fixed him up. She does an excellent job and her staff in excellent. She has great prices also.

Dr. Tara is great! Her gentle hands comfort my spoiled dogs & my old beagle makes a show of fussing at her yet she never scolds. My chi-mix is normally super hyper but Dr. Tara mellows her & she behaves! Dr. Tara & her staff are the very best!

Dr. Blair is so sweet and intelligent. She loves on the animals and they accept her so well. A really great place to go for routine check ups, spays, neutering, shots, flea and tick meds etc.

We love Dr. Tara and the staff at Southern Paws! We had to temporarily relocate to FL. It takes us 2.5hrs to get to the office now but the drive is well worth it! Dr. Tara loves and cares about every pup we bring in just like we do. The office calls the day after any surgery or vaccination to make sure everything is ok.

The one thing that was evident was how friendly everyone was as soon as we walked in and they did our pet's as soon as we got there,not 20 or 30 minutes later like other Vet's. Our male.and female cat's are just fine. A good place to go to.

Referred by my mom and sister & have had 2 wonderful experiences now with my 12 week old pup. Everyone is super friendly & caring, don't make feel rushed or dumb for asking questions. Amazing price & reputation & also compared to many places around. They even called 24 hours after my babies shots to make sure he was doing okay. They're really great.

Best vet I have taken my dogs to. It's a bit of a drive (37 mins) but well worth it. Everybody is so kind and informative. You're allowed to go in with your pet. Dr Tara put me at ease when I was scared about my dogs surgery. She's a wonderful lady and she actually cares and does not gouge on prices! When my dog developed an infection, she knew it would take me a while to get there so she made accommodations for me to pick the meds up. Going to get my other furbaby spayed soon.

This clinic has the kindest people! They retreated my puppy like one of their own fur babies, it was his first trip to the vet and they made it so awesome for him. He was happy and excited almost the whole time! They cut his nails, cleaned his ears, gave him his shots, lots of treats, and lots of love. I am so thankful to have such kind, genuine people take care of my fur babies when they need it.
