I love supporting local businesses and this one is one of my favorites. They always remember my name and are extremely friendly and professional. There are several choices around the area for pet supplies including the big box ones but we'll choose In the Ruff over those every day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Andrea, Judy & Hunter are awesome!! They all ask about my dogs and know exactly what they need. Although my husband sees the bag when we buy it, do you think he remembers? NOT A CHANCE!! Andrea remembers better than he does and makes sure he gets the correct food if I am not there. That means so much to me and I truly appreciate their care that shines through as soon as you walk through the door. It is obvious that they take pride in their products they carry in the store. Andrea has even asked me to try things before she will even stock it so she can get a customer review. I value that in a local store as you know they are not just selling something that was shipped in on a transport truck, they actually want to have real customer reviews. Our 11yr old cocker spaniel has allergies and a skin condition because of it. This place was very helpful in recommending products to clear his skin. After a few months, we decided to in addition to goats milk and fish oil ... change his food and again they walked us through options. He is doing much better now. Their prices are good and the service is great.

I feed my dogs a high quality dog food that could only be found at two stores within a 20 minute drive of my home. I had seen this unassuming shop in the Kroger strip mall for quite some time just a few miles from my home, but never ventured in. One day, running low on my preferred dog food, I visited The Ruff Stuff, and was more than pleasantly surprised to find a very clean store with a great selection of quality pet foods, including the brand and flavor I feed my dogs! The staff was very helpful, extremely friendly, and truly appreciate every customer that walks through their doors. This is now my go to pet store for good quality food, treats and pet accessories.

Very helpful owner. I was looking for a certain brand of dog food and the delivery truck was due, but none on the shelves. She set aside a bag for me so that it was there when I returned the next day. Very thoughtful. Plenty of choices for dog food and dog toys. Seems to remember the names of the customers as they come in the door.

Absolutely love this family own and operated pet store. Sure you can order from some online store that brings your stuff but the advice and service you get is like no other experience. They truly care and go way above and beyond what anyone should expect. One day we ran out of food for our pups and the store was closed, they were willing to go open it up for us. Amazing store with amazing people inside.

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!! We would give more than 5 stars if possible. My daughter and I took our puppy Ahri today to get some treats,toys and find her a new/better food. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the prices were great. Also we were given free treats and food samples to take home for Ahri to try and see what she likes best. We will definitely be shopping here from now on.

The first and second visit was wonderful, after that could not even get help from behind the counter and or too busy speaking to another customer only to overhear it was a personal conversation. Which is fine but there is a proper way to excuse yourself for a moment. This also happened the next visit, so what I thought was going to be a great place to shop and family owned and local quickly turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Pretty cool store. Some interesting stuff for pups that aren't available at other places. Not very big but, that's ok. They have enough....for dogs. The thing is, I also have cats & their stock for them is, weeeelllllll, sad. Guess I have to stick with those big named stores for them 😕
