Whimsical gardens is a hidden gem of south ATL. The play structures are under a big pavilion with fans! One of a kind playgrounds made out of wood including a tractor, helicopter, and a digger. There's a little splash pad, shaded picnic tables and a spot for little tots. We were there with kids ranging from 20 months to 8 yrs old and they all loved it.

Our wedding last year at the State Park was made extra special by hosting our closest friends and family in Frankie's properties. Everything went perfectly and she really went above and beyond to help make our special weekend perfect

We had a great 3 day weekend staying at the Hoard House in the Village. It was wonderful with three other couples and I would highly recommend staying there. The small businesses, the gardens, the ice cream shop and being in walking distance to the State Park makes a great combination! I highly recommend this area for a friends or couples trip or staying for a nearby wedding.

WOW what a wonderful experience visiting The Village at Indian Springs. I stayed at one of the quaint cottages. Everything was top class from the mattress, linens , towels and furniture. A true gem graced by abundance of nature and history galore. The restaurant was a 5 star adjoining the Big Chief general store. I felt like I was stepping back in time. If you like history , nature, fishing, bike trails, hiking, shopping, great food, along with beautiful lodges visit The Village at Indian Springs. I definitely will be going back.

I can't believe I've never been here before. This was absolutely amazing! Bring your kids and be prepared to stay all day!! Bring a picnic to eat on the many picnic tables around, or eat at one of the shops within walking distance. There is something for all ages! It was clean and well kept. I was blown away at this place! We'll be back MANY times.

We love this place. Plenty of space and grills with places to cook out. Would give five stars if Covid-19 hadn't ruined everything. No paddle boat or mini golf for now. Beautiful, outdoors, fishing at a large lake, camping, and they have a place where you can fill up on natural spring water. Bring your own containers and it tastes terrible because they are sulphur springs. People come from all over the country for it because of its health benefits.

Extremely friendly townspeople, adorable cottages (Holloway Cottages) and neat shops! The only thing the little village area is missing would be a cafe to grab breakfast or lunch. Loved how we were able to walk to Indian Springs Park from the cottage as well as the shops and whimsical gardens. Things to do: hike/ride bikes/picnic at the state park, walk through the gardens, have ice cream at Stagecoach Sweet Stop. Tip - the state park is $5 to park a vehicle, but free if you are on foot; you are also able to fill bottles of spring water on site for free.

We rented a cottage here so we would have a place to get ready for my wedding and to spend the night after getting married. Staff at Big Chief Country Store was nice. When checking out, I was asked if there was anything they needed to know about. I told them about the horrific sounds from the plumbing that resonated throughout the entire cottage when the shower was in use. I told them about the stream of water that was coming from under the back sidewalk adjacent to the patio. I also told them about the absence of a sleeper sofa that was supposed to be in the cottage. This specific cottage was reserved because it slept 4. Because there was not a sleeper sofa, one person slept on the sofa and another in a chair; hardly the accommodations we were expecting or paid for.After relating the issues to the staff at the store, I was told that i would receive a call from the owners. I wasn't completely dissatisfied with the cottage, but did feel a little cheated and was looking forward to discussing my concerns with management. It has now been three weeks and I have not been contacted.*EDIT* I increased my rating by 2 stars. After contacting the BBB, the owner did contact me to make amends. Although I am satisfied with the owner's offer to make up for our stay, I have chosen to leave my original review because it is the experience I had.

My husband and I have stayed many times at the cottages over the years. The cottages have always been very clean and very nice this time was no exception very clean. We stayed there this past weekend for a night for our anniversary and we were very disappointed the cottage had several large roaches one actually was crawling on me when I was asleep I was so freaked out I was up the rest of the night. Also the jetted tub was not in working order. The next morning went to take a shower and shower head was broken and wouldnt stay in holder and hit me in the head. We told the attendent at the Big Cheif store about what had happened and we were told she would let matience know. I feel like something more should have been done. Again cottages are very clean and very nice just not happy with our stay this time.
