I absolutely LOVE this store! Okay, so, I'm a real person- I'm not getting paid to leave this review. I was just showing their website to someone I met that has goats and telling them about Hogger, and I was really surprised to see that there were a bunch of negative reviews!? So I wanted to tell you about my positive experience as a customer for the past 2 years. We have 4 goats: 2 adult nubuan does and two dwarf Nubian doe kids. I have been consistently ordering with no problem; prices are reasonable,lots of holistic natural products. I receive my orders quickly and I usually always get their resident goat guru Ann answering the phone. She's a hoot and very knowledgeable! If I have a question she couldn't answer she takes my name and number and somebody calls me back within 24 to 48 hours. (if you look at all of their negative reviews it's from 6-7 years ago. Not sure what they were going through then... but I have consistently received top-notch service for the past 2 years so I would say give them a try!) I regularly buy their Herbal Wormer, the Herbal Toner, and the XP Yeast. Also, Bovisera for immune boost or to avoid shipping fever. This summer, Ann went above and beyond to call me after I placed an online order of Bovisara to make sure I was ordering the right amount--and she really did us a huge favor because we accidentally did not order what we needed for our cross-country trip! I have called them on several occasions to ask for information or direction and they have been wonderful with providing me detailed help, including lots of do's and don'ts when we were moving our pet goats cross county in the heat of the summer. I appreciate that they're a family run business, not a huge corporation. I go to them first for anything our goats need!!

I placed two orders with this company, a big one for over $200 and a small one before I read the bad reviews. Once I read them I was afraid I wouldn't get my order so contacted customer service. I was greeted by the Grandma of the family, she was very nice and said shed have them look into my order, which she did. everything arrived like promised and as I ordered but one item. When I called back a very nice gentleman told me they were waiting for the mold to come in and once in would send it or refund my money, I said I'd wait. The product were just what I ordered and of good quality, Maybe they went thru some hard times in the past, Don't know. But I have no issues with them and would order again. 5 stars for customer service! and no i am in no way related or friends of these people, I live several state away. Just wanted to say a good word in their behalf because they did me right.

I have placed three orders for cheese and yogurt making supplies. Totally happy with my purchases. I have also called and emailed with a few questions about cheese and yogurt making. Someone always answers meEither in the phone or via email.Go ahead, support a smallBusiness. And FYI the yogurt cultureIs very good and a fraction of the price you find on other sites.

I was told this was a great place to order supplies, so I placed a small order in mid Sept. I received an email confirming the order and stating it had been processed within a few days. The money came out of my account quickly also. However, it is not late October I have never received an email confirming shipment and have not received my order.I tried emailing them multiple times, sent a contact us message through the website and have left multiple messages. I have not heard back from them at all. I guess it is a good thing I only place a small order and didn't get screwed out of too much money.

Such a shame what this company has become. Ordered back in August of 2019. Never got an email stating my order was received. No emails whatsoever. Sent 2 contact by email. Called twice asking for a return call. 4 weeks went by.Called our credit card company and reported fraud and had charges reversed/refunded.DON’T waste your time. Shop elsewhere.

I used to love Hoegger Supply and I place several good orders each year. I keep giving them the be the benefit of the doubt, but now I am truly done with this company. I have not received one order that has been complete. My card gets charged for all items regardless of what gets shipped. Shipping for incomplete orders also takes a very long time. Weeks. When calling about missing items, they are rude. Refunds are promised and never followed through with. I still haven't receive my refund from 3 months ago, and when trying to contact them, you can never get through. Sad! This used to be a great company. Beware when ordering, or better yet, find another supplier.

The only positive reviews on this post are from the family that owns this company. That should tell you everything you need to know.Placed an order in February, payment immediately processed. Called repeatedly in March and April to ask where my order was at...first they were super busy and running behind, then they couldn't find the order, then it was on back order, then they blamed the manufacturer's, then it was "supposed" to ship the next day. I threatened to visit their location in person and suddenly received a tracking number. I received a fraction of what I ordered. I made repeated calls and finally got another partial shipment in May after I threatened to file a claim with the Georgia Office of the Inspector General, but they shipped a cheaper version of the product that was listed on the website. After threatening to file a fraud claim with my credit card company, I was finally refunded for what never shipped. I never did get a refund for the incorrect items that shipped, but such is business for Hoegger Supply.This is the most irresponsible company I have ever encountered, and they do all this while claiming to adhere to "Christian" values.I would encourage everyone who is owed money by this company to contact the Georgia Office of the Inspector General, who deal with fraudulent companies. Do no let this family steal your money because they are 100% nothing but thieves.

I didn't read the reviews because I have bought from them in the past and had no problems. In June 2016 I ordered 2 pretty common items and I got notice that the order had been processed and were being shipped on 6/29/2016.I, like everyone else that has posted a review, attempted to call and email to no avail. Late August I finally got a response from a nasty email that I had sent to them. I was told that the items were back ordered and would be sent when they came in. Of course I got charged back in June. It is now the end of October and I haven't been shipped either of the items. I have never gotten through by phone as it is always busy. It is a shame that this is how they are running their business. I would recommend finding someone else to purchase from.

Used to order from Hoegger's, and always had trouble with not receiving items but they sure take your money quick. I know they were having "family troubles" got an email from them explaining. So let some time go by to let them get back into the groove...Ordered in Aug 2018, they took my money out ASAP. Received a confirmation email of order. Here it is the end of Sept 2018, no email of shipment. So emailed them twice. Called several times for 3 days now and never get a person. Always their answering machine. I leave all my info for them to call me back..nothing. Very poor if you are trying to build your business back up!

I placed an order over a year ago and is still not resolved. I was told originally that the item was on back order and they did not know when the supplier would have the item, but that they would ship it as soon as they could. Finally I gave up and a year later I order the same item from a different company and received it a week later. I contacted Hoegger to ask what happened to my order and was told that the item was still on back order and they would ship it as soon as it came in. I asked them why they were still selling the item if they hadn't filled orders from over a year ago and asked for a refund. I was informed that they would mail me one. A month later I called back and asked the status and was told that they would take care of it and mail me a refund. Another month has gone by and I called today and was informed someone in another department would mail it on Monday. They have wasted a lot of my time and money with no apology or remorse. Very frustrating.

ordered 1 single 8$ item from them on 5/17 and never got a confirmation email or shipping information until a week later I emailed them and never got a return email and then a couple days later I called them left a message with no reply and finally on 5/29 an email saying a label was created and they are sorry for the delay and 5/30 was shipped out, and it wont get here until 6/3. I don't think i've ever had such bad experience with a company. I wont be buying from them again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.This company is a joke. They don't send you any order confirmation or tracking info. They charge you for back ordered items that they have not made you aware of until you receive your half empty box. They will send you the wrong items in your order. Their products were cheap quality. Good luck getting a response through email. You will wait forever to get a refund. Had I actually searched this company and seen the reviews I would have never purchased a thing. Unfortunately a friend had referred them and I had never seen the bad reviews. Do yourself a favor and order from another company.

I am guessing something has happened to someone in the family. The reviews are all the same, sent in order, card was charged, we receive email telling us that they received our order but then nothing is shipped. I put a complaint in to the BBB but they said they can do nothing as they tried several times to contact the business with no success. I am sad. I only had a small order as well but I feel for everyone who has placed orders and lost money. Seems like somebody should be able to do something to stop it so other people don't continue to place orders. They make you give it at least one star in order to post but they should not get that. I guess we could offer the star for the good job they had done in the past.

Ordered some goat hoof trimmers in September of 2016. They charge my credit card even though they were not in stock. Advised they would be shipped when in stock. Waited weeks, contacted seller several times was strung along. They did offer to send inferior trimmers but I declined and said I would wait until the ones I wanted came in. 5 months passed contacted them several times and they were still not in stock. Asked for a refund. I still have not received my refund. Too late to file a dispute. Filed by Dave Conrad's wife Sharon.Update: Contacted today by the BBB, states refund is coming, states sent 07/28/2016 via USPS. Note that complaint was filed 02/28/2016.

Do Not Shop Here!!! Ordered from this company 2 weeks ago, the only confirmation I received from them was when they charged my credit card. I called today to check on the status of my order and the guy on the phone said that my order was skipped over. No apology whatsoever, he said they can process my order today. Because my doe is kidding this week, I asked him to cancel my order and refund my card. We will see if that happens in the next 24 hours. Do yourself a favor and order from another company.

Have to agree with all the 1 star reviews. This company used to be great but can't say that I can recommend them anymore as I used to. My credit card was charged back in May of 2016 for items they say are back ordered and after emailing several times finally got a reply but guess what... the items are still on back order although they do not show backed ordered on their website. If you try to contact them by phone, it is either busy or gives a recording that it has been disconnected. I too will be contacting my credit card company to pursue a refund if I don't receive one quickly. Very disappointing.

A more appropriate company name: Hoegger Excuses Supply, where you place orders and receive nothing but headaches.After placing my order on July 5, 2016, my credit card was billed. "Great!" I thought. "That's fast shipping!" (It was a substantial order, over $150) As a week came and went, I called to get an update, and was assured my package was shipping out that day. They were apparently delayed by a warehouse move. Another week comes and goes, so I place a second call. More excuses, more promises my package will go out that day. This repeats for two more weeks, interspersed with emails which are never returned.Finally, I send an email to Hoegger threatening to alert my credit card company that a month has passed without update and without receiving any items. That gets a response! What is in that response? A million more excuses, and promises of a refund, which never appears.We're a small company, and love to support other small companies. Hoegger gives every family-run business a bad name.

Zero Stars... I was so excited to order from this company- as we are getting goats on our farm. I placed an order in April and waited... and waited... called 2 times. Each time I called I was reassured that my order would ship that day. I never received the order. After waiting another week. I sent something through their "contact us" on the website to which I never got a reply. Then I sent an email and got an very quick response letting me know my order would be cancelled and I would get a refund which would take 8-10 days to process. Totally unacceptable.

When I placed an order they never sent it, but charged my card. I called 2 weeks later and they said I would receive it by Thursday of that week. The order never arrived. I sent 2 emails and never got a response. I was hoping someone would call. 1 month later, I was able to get through to a person(always busy signal). They didn't know my card number to confirm the refund. I never got an apology for never sending the order. Very disappointed

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I usually do not post reviews, but really had to warn others about this company! They used to be a great company 20 years ago. That has changed dramatically. First of all they accepted money from PayPal for the entire order even though they couldn't ship the product. I'm still waiting for items from 3 months ago! Orders are not shipped and they do not communicate with customers at all about back orders, etc. You can't reach them by telephone (continual busy signal), they do not respond to emails posted to their webpage and when you send them a personal email to inquire about your orders they tell you that they will answer emails in the order in which they receive them . . . it's been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting! I've made one last demand for the return of my money for unshipped items and will report them to the BBB if they do not refund my money immediately! Horrible company!

1: not good web keeping , had issues placing order many times.2: No email to contact them at, had to take many attempts to place a phone order because no one picks up the order hotline number hardly ever. placed an order and said would be placed in my order history on my account , was/is not placed there. Also no tracking information provided. If there was ever an item you need fast and ordered from them , good luck getting it on time.4: we pay for the item plus shipping and for them to arrive in a timely manner, and it doesn't follow through.5: POOR PHONE SERVICE AND CONTACT INFO6: been calling for 2 days straight now through the whole day and no answer ,need to know where my products are . that cant be helped due to the POOR Customer service from some of there employees not upholding there end of the job .i have never posted a review so unsatisfied in my life . would love to change my review soon , but i think a regroup of work ethics need to be placed first.

I do not know what has happened to my order either. I have ordered from these people in the past and have had excellent service. BUT NOW....I don't know what happened. I know it was a family business and don't know if someone passed away or what. No replies to email or the phone. I would really appreciate a response to know what is going on. It's so sad when a company takes on new ownership. Hoegger used to be a wonderful company when Mrs. Ann had it but it has gone down hill. I ordered hoof trimmers last year in April and never received them. They sent an email almost a month later that they were on back order. I asked for a refund and no refund as of today. I have called and emailed but no answer. I've tried calling over and over but no one answers the phone.... never.UPDATE: I finally received the hoof trimmer kit- 1 year later- but I didn't need it anymore because the goat is no longer with us.

Buyers Beware!!! I purchased a castorator back in November; They charged my card and said the product was on back order but should have had it at the end of December; End of December came and I called n told them to cancel the back order and send me my money back. End of January comes along and I still have not received the credit and when I called the guy said they would be sending a check. We are now at the end of February, no check and their lines have been busy for weeks and nobody returns emails. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!

Honestly, if I could give no stars I would. I ordered a few products over a year ago and still have not received them! I contacted them and waited a while because they sent out an email saying they had a death in the family but it's been over a year! The last email they sent me said they had issued me a refund check and it was in the mail...that was four months ago. I never write reviews but I feel people should know before spending money for product they will never get.

Absolutely hopeless. Their communication is almost non existent, had to email numerous times to find out what was happening with an order. Finally was told it had shipped, asked for a tracking umber only to find that the items I had purchased were available at time of order but then sent to someone else and would only be available in a months time. Email after email after email no response, finally after 2 months got 4 of the 6 items ordered and trying to get a refund on the other two. Do yourself a favour and do NOT buy anything from them, you'll no doubt regret it.

Ordered many times with no problem with them up until last year I ordered bells for goats collars. Was told in stock and that they would ship out the next day and should expect in 3-4 days. Card was charged. After a week they didn't arrive. Called and was told they were on back order and should be in in a few days and would ship out as soon as they came in. I waited again another week and nothing. Called and was told the same thing again. I asked for a refund and was told it would be refunded. Assumed it had been. Saw 3 months later on my statement that it never was.

Wow, I am amazed at how many horrible reviews there are but I am here to echo the same thing. I placed an order for tattoo pliers, my card was charged, but I hadn't received a shipping notice after 1 week. I followed up by email and they replied to say that they should be receiving the item within two weeks and will ship it out when it arrives. I had no idea that the item was backordered (nothing on the website says this). I would not have ordered from them had I known this because I need this for goats that will be traveling soon. Supposedly they are refunding my credit card. They put out a nice catalog, but it appears to be a front to an otherwise shady business.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. I have 39 quarts of goat's milk sitting in my refrigerator. I have waited and waited for the order, gotten busy signals almost every time I call. The first time I got through, they told me the items are on back order and they should be here early next week. The second time I called, they said a big order just arrived and I should get my items next week. That was two weeks ago. Now I'm trying to call and only busy signals yesterday and today. What lousy, pathetic customer service. NEVER AGAIN. I am having to place an order with another company for items that these guys have already charged me for and never sent. I will also look into filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and secretary of state.

Their website is a great source of info on cheese making, etc. They used to be my go to place for goat supplies, but recently their service has declined and the goats and I will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. I placed a large order with them this month and heard nothing back for almost 3 weeks except that the money was paid by Paypal, no invoice, no email. So I emailed Hoegger customer service, no response. I emailed again, no response. So I called and the phone was busy. I repeated this for a while until I found their 800 number. Finally a human answered - a woman sounding very put out agreed to ship my order, no explanation or apology offered. When my package finally arrived it was missing 20% of the order and the accompanying invoice said the items were back ordered.
