Love that we have this great little grocery store in Fairmount. Great staff, great selection, great hours. Their meat counter is so fresh, their is a real butcher (unlike Walmart, I think their meat comes from China). IGA has the 5 for $19.99 meats all the time. Great deals.

The customer service is always nice, and they have all the basic staples you need so you don't have to run all the way to Calhoun, Cartersville, or Chatsworth. Nothing really exotic available, the prices are fair, and they usually got whatever basics you need in stock.One of the best businesses available in Fairmount and it would be terribly missed if anything were to ever happen to it!

Some of the staff are polite. However, I have had one cashier that works there that is extremely unpleasant to deal with. She usually snatches items out of my hand, and she never says hello to me or goodbye. I guess if your from around here she is pleasant and even jokes around. I don't have time, nor the desire to deal with selective folks as it relates to their manners. Also, the food prices are too high.I will take my business elsewhere.

I really wish the butcher worked past mid day on Fridays. The steaks there are excellent, I'd just like mine thicker than the ones in the meat display.Other than that, nice store and friendly staff.

A nice small-town grocery. The prices are a bit high but that isn't unreasonable given the 15 Mile drive to Walmart in Calhoun. It was clean and well organized with nice locals running the place.The produce was fresh and nicely displayed. And, the shelves we're well organized and featured a good range of name-brand goods. I had to deduct 1 star due to the mark-up in the prices that make it a bad choice for a large family buying groceries.

This store has been here for since the middle of the 1970's, but not always as a grocery store. Some of the older locals will remember when it was split in 2, between a western auto and a smaller grocery store, but after western auto went out of business after being sold to advance auto parts from sears in 1998, but the grocery store remained, it went through a few names before ending up as an IGA, but about a year ago it changed to just "Fairmount Grocery".The store holds enough grocerys to get by, with frozen goods, produce, canned goods, fresh and prepackaged meat, a small selection of seafood, chips, baking supplies, and cereal. They do not sell alcahol. The staff are friendly, of which my mother has worked there for a little over a decade. The stores style gives off a old fashioned friendly feel. The building itself is very old, and a survivor of the blizzard of 1993, despite the flat roof. The buildings age does show here and there, there are extra doors where the building used to be split in 2, and from the outside it looks a bit dull, but thus store is perfect for this small, no red light town

Stopped in for first time while traveling through. Nice little store and everything i needed for home made spagetti and meatballs. Good fresh meat. Nice produce deals. Friendly kind staff!!

It doesn't get any better than our great local grocery store..Prices have changed alot with a NEW distributor that has created ALOT OF GOOD DEALS ... Love their meat selections an prices..produce is always fresh and selective.. an the managers and employees are amazing..always willing to help.. !!

Best meat anywhere around. Better than Ingles and way way better than the big box stores, but the prices on the meat are fantastic. However everything else is overpriced and very limited selections. I only go there for the meat!

Small little town where there never fails to be an officer in the side of the road. Had a great little resale store with very friendly service and lovely items. Visiting their store is worth the drive thru this no red light town.

Everybody is friendly and helpful. Local men , women, and teenagers work here. The prices aren’t out of line and it’s the closest place around to get produce and fresh meat. Worthy of a visit.

I love Fairmount, Georgia and K.C.'s restaurant. They have really good food and wonderful people. Anejo's is a wonderful Mexican restaurant also with amazing food and atmosphere..
