The Home Depot is amazing employees are really nice and helpful. Was in there the other day and one of the cashiers helped me out a bunch. I asked her for a certain item and she would look it up giving me the location. The said here let me walk you over and help you spot it. She did and it didn't take long at all. Next she asked me was there anything else. I needed garden soil. She walked me outside and helped me pick out the best garden soil. She loaded it onto my cart and into my car without me asking for help. She was such a wonderful help. Sad thing about these wonderful people like this when you offer them a tip they refuse not matter what. I believe the cashier that helped me i believe was named Melissa. I been in there a few other times and she is hardly standing in one spot. They had her going from end to end in that store. She needs to be rewarded on her great customer service.

The manager sold a reduced priced item to me. Then, at checkout informed, the item was already sold. The item was scheduled for delivery. The item was clearly posted for sale front and center, just feet from the front door and registers. I believe their sales processes warrants looking into from a competent representative.

Thank you, Kristie and Mike, for going out of your way to help spread holiday cheer—the day after Black Friday, no less! They were kind and helpful from the moment we walked in, chatting with us while trying to restore order to the store. My son was taken with the Christmas displays and Kristie was especially taken with him, plugging in the animatronics for him to see. In addition to the purchases we planned to make, Kristie sent us home with several complimentary decorations just to see the delight on our little guy’s face. It was an unexpected but memorable experience.

Just received my beauty plum tree from online orchards, and I was very happy with the size and the branches on the tree. Especially for the price and free shipping. I do recommend this company from Home Depot.

I love Home Depot. If you need it they have it as far as building, planting, or creating anything. Everything in the photos from plants to lumber for raised boxes and cages to soil and fertilizer were all purchased at the Depot. One stop shop. Cheaper than Lowe's and way friendlier as well.

Had an employee watch me check out (aka - doing her job) while she watched. Home Depot doesn’t even make an effort to service the customer. Maybe they should pay me for “doing their job” of checking me out.

I never ask for help but was offered help to find an item this time. I only needed 2 plumbing items of the same kind and not a pack of 10 and was told there wasn't any individual ones to buy. I found them myself and glad I did because 2 individual items cost me less than $5.00 with tax and the pack of 10 was $18.00 plus tax and would have been stuck with a bunch of worthless parts I didn't need. Goes to show.. always look for the loose parts in the boxes on the shelf because what you need could be there and could save money by looking yourself.

The people in the garden section were very nice and helpful with the questions that I had about some plants and when they might get them in their store.Their selection of spring flowers were beautiful. And the worker at the check out were very sweet and helpful too.

We were ignored by the employees. My husband had a huge wooden bucket over his shoulders while we stood at customer service- ignored. We asked two people where lawn furniture cushions were and they just pointed a finger in a direction, despite us saying we can't find them. We were becoming upset that no one was willing to show us ( they were out of stock and we had no idea. We wasted time looking for something that wasn't there.) Later, after feeling defeated, we found the angel Kesha, who turned our experience around. We were about to leave and not return because of how no one seemed to give a darn.Keyshia was fabulous. Please, for the love of God give her a management position. She was the only one to greet us, care for us, walk with us. I can't believe she is here, wow! You have a gem. A diamond status employee. Her manager said she would commend her, but if nothing happens for this sweet lady, please BIG HOME DEPOT GIVE KESHA A STORE.

Really good for a big box home improvement store, albeit a bit messy as many home stores tend to be, this long established store has a great garden center, as well as the typical range of items most people expect from a fully equipped home improvement center. They have equipment & trailer rentals if you need them, and a decent tool collection. While they don't quite stock the larger variety of goods that their main competitor, Lowe's, has, the prices are lower and they carry Behr outdoor paints and stains, which I, a long time do- it- yourselfer & retired engineer swear by for long lasting durability & permanent finish. (I've got some outdoor projects I painted 20 years ago which still look decent).Usually, when I'm in the market for some home improvement project or tool, this is the 1st place I go. Service is a tad bit hit or miss - it all depends on if you can find someone - but if you do I have always found them very helpful and they all seem to know where things are - exactly - down to aisle & row. They DO seem to have more employees on the floor than they used to, but that seems to be because they have so many fewer at checkout. You can expect to find only 1 or 2 registers open on any given day; the rest is all self-checkout, so expect a wait if you want a person to check you out.Overall, about what you'd expect from a Home Depot store, though as I stated, they've got a great & comprehensive garden center, adequate tools & appliances section, and a fairly complete selection of other home improvement items for you home improvement needs.IF you found this review helpful please hit the "Like" button; and if there is any part that stands out to you as super-helpful or funny - leave a comment as it helps me develop better reviews for you & other people. 😀

I arrived early morning Aug 3 to get help buying lumber and the place was very empty. I went to lumber counter requesting help and 2 sales clerks there. One asked me to sit, the other was on computer. After 2 minutes the one standing asked if the other clerk was helping with my order. I said she was not. Standing clerk said she would leave so other lady could help. Computer lady continued to ignore me and work on computer. Standing lady returned in about 1 minute and said to compiter lady that she would come back when she didn’t have a customer and show her how to dow whatever it was on the computer. Computer lady kept ignoring me and hitting keys for another minute before she axknowledged me and asked if she could help. When she did start my order I told her what I thought I needed and she looked things up on the computer. I needed 2x6x8 but when she looked she said they had 2x6x10, did I want that? OLverall, she did not know her products and she did not offer options, for example if I wanted 2x4x8, would ther be an advantage to buy 2x4x16 and cut in half or better to cut 2 inches off wheat she sold and throw that part away. She did not help me, she simply took my order. It was like self check out with a human in the way. Finally, she said I can save you $100 if you apply for a Home Depot Charge Card. I said I didn;t really want a card but she said it was easy. I answered questions on the electronic pad until it asked my income. I told her that I would not answer about my income and just stopped. She said I need to put you on the phone where I spoke to a guy who barely spoke English. He asked the same questions AGAIN and when he go to income, I said I don’t want your card and I hung up. She said the card was easy but I did not like it either time. I got a letter one week later stating I did not qualify. I DO NOT WANT YOUR CARD! After all this experience, ,y Home Depot employee, JESSICA, said, be sure to fill out the survey on your receipt and tell what good service you got.I did not get good service. I was ignored for 5 minutes. I was not helped picking wood. You did not know your product and the $100 discount was not easy. I blame management for this encounter. Teach customer service. Make sure employees know their products and how to help customers select appropriate sizes. Don’t push Home Depot credit cards.The wood I got was good.

My father had new marble counter tops installed today. They had been out to his kitchen prior to the installation to measue, he was also getting splash guards, so they knew ahead of time that he would need to have the electrical reconnected. Why they would not tell him prior to installation that he would need to get an electrician to re connect is just plain bad business. Get your counters installed somewhere else.

Easy curbside pickup. The associate, AL, in deliveries was extremely helpful. I had items that wouldn't fit in my car and he safely and securely helped me tie them to the roof. He went above and beyond to help me out, and was happy to do so.

Home Depot needs to review their delivery contractors, promptly follow through on their customer support commitments, and provide a better system for staff. The one star is for the polite branch staff that had to deal with Home Depot’s awful system.I bought a fridge, was waiting for it, didn’t come within the window but it was marked “delivered with exception”. I was at home waiting and no one came. Apparently, they got the wrong house and just decided not to find the right one? That is, until I called to complain and reroute the truck back to me. I was on the phone for a long time and an hour later, they came back and delivered it.I complained and the support staff on the phone gave me a discount for all my trouble and said they’ll just refund the amount back to the card I used. I thought my stress was done and forgot about it.1 month later, I randomly checked and saw that there was no refund. I call again and they said I needed to go there with my card (people on the phone never gave this instruction). I get there and they didn’t have the option to complete the transaction. I was asked to wait another week and to call back. On that last call, I finally got the refund.That was a lot of trouble. I imagine that a big company would be better organized. Overall, would not recommend unless you have endless patience.

Customer service at its best in Evans at the Home Depot. My order was not delivered properly and when I went to the store one of the members of the management staff took it upon herself to correct it. Never have I had that experience in other stores. Everything was immediately corrected. If I could give you more than a five star review, I certainly would do so. You are the best and you will get all of my business in the future.

Only self check out. Not good.A ton of items are not restocked although they are on the shelves above. Not good.Only needed 3 small items and one of them wasn't available.If I have to check out my own items and ask for things to be restocked I can just order from Amazon and not have to leave home.

This should not be given even 1 star. The gift card processing is flawed. Please check the gift card and compare against the purchases done. As in my case it said 0 balance on one of the egift card and I had to call the customer service and they sent me a new gift card of $93 which was still remaining amount.This makes me wonder what happened to all the other egift cards I have used over the years and never bothered to compare balance and purchases thinking that Home Depot system must be sturdy without glitches and always be correct.Similar situation also has happened for one of the store credit which I have to now find time to go an over it and meet with them. The purpose of doing online is that it should be a seamless experience and never have to go to store if not needed.Home Depot experience for me has been disastrous. I am going to try Lowes from this point on but will first go to Amazon before looking anywhere else.
