Everything about this location is amazing... Price matches, great stock, knowledgeable and really kind customer service humans. And my puppy LOVES your tennis balls. Your clearance section is also always worth looking through. I don't regret using Petco for most of my dog needs....Accept the woman who walks around trying to convince people not to use appropriate muzzles on their dogs.It may not be what she prefers? But her attitude towards it is next level. She suggested I use cayenne pepper all over my half acre yard, or an overpriced deterrent spray that Petco offers. My dog is in training to be a SA, and she's made up of a lot of banned breeds. She's a teddy bear, but the world doesn't know that looking at her. I'm not risking my dog being put down one day, just because she didn't want to make a sale. It was honestly wild. And I sincerely doubt I'm the only customer she's ever done that to. I avoid her when I come in, so 4/5 for the avoidance.

I don’t usually send my pups to these places to get groomed as I don’t trust. But they room great care of my babies. I stayed near by the whole time, they listened to me as one of my dogs doesn’t do well with men and our groomer was a male, they asked someone else to groom my male pup and everything went great my babies came out smelling great and happy!

They have a large selection of products at decent prices. Nothing too special. They do not have a large variety or amount of animals. I deducted 1 start because the prices could be better and the selection of pets seems lacking. Have 4 stars because the store is very clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Clean facility. Critters seem happy. We received service pretty quickly when we brought home our now fifth parakeet.Prices just a teensy bit higher here than petsmart, but service & cleanliness are comparable

Petco in Evans, GA was spectacular today! We have a new puppy and had so many questions. Nikk was the best person for the job! He was very knowledgeable about his job! Our puppy didn’t like the food he was brought to us with or treats. We explained this to Nikk and he guided us straight to what we needed to try. We took it home and our dog loves all of it! There is also a great return policy just in case our dog didn’t like it. Nicole in the training section of the store, was amazing too! We were about to buy a bed for our puppy, but stopped and asked her a question. We didn’t have an appointment, but she was willing to answer our questions and was such a big help. She gave us so much advice for our puppy. The things we’re trying with him are actually helping! We love it there and will definitely continue going to them! Even going to schedule a future training session with Nicole!

Petco is a large store offering pet supplies, pet food,small pets, fish, grooming, and healthcare. The choices are excellent, though the prices are not lower than small pet stores or those found online.Employees are friendly and helpful. I was taken aback when told a plastic bag is 10 cents extra.

I purchased 5 Corey catfish two days ago. Everything was perfectly normal until check-out time where the cashier proceeded to grab my bag of fish and without a care, stack them inside of the plastic Petco shopping bags. I would have gladly held the bag, as I was doing previously. The cashier stacked the two bags of fish in the bottom, then proceeded to place our other items on top of them. There was no sympathy for the live creatures. They were very slow moving, not interested in eating, and stayed isolated at the bottom when entering my tank. I have other corey catfish, tetras, and live plants. They all were thriving. As of today, two days later, only three are alive. Everyone else was great, good help, great variety of fish and plant species for tanks, nice setups. Will not return, very sad that my fish had to suffer because of someone being inconsiderate.

I was looking for a specific kind of dog bed. They have a large selection of dog beds here. And a wide variety of dog food. My dog has a sensitive tummy and she eats Pro Plan, they always have it at Petco.

If I could give this review a zero I definitely would! I planned to purchase a Herman’s Tortoise for my 5years ; where I was denied service by Micheal. Long story short, he asked if I already had the proper equipment for the Tortas I said no. And ask him to show me the equipment this particular tortoise needed. He showed me the largest tank in the store which cost about $300 to $500. I let him know that the tank was too big to go in my car so I would purchase a tank with a square footage of 30“ x 12 x 12 temporarily with was a kit that came with every thing it needed. He said that was not the proper tank for the tortoise. I told him that I will purchase the tank the following day to get a bigger truck and or when goes on sale the day of the 25 December. He refuse to sell me the tortoise and said that it was policy. I asked to show me the written policy. And he was not able to. I ask for a manager and she was not able to show me The written policy to refuse services. Him and his manager was very rude and I will never Purchase anything from Petco.

my groomer, Victoria was so helpful, so nice & so professional. she is the reason for any stars at all & she deserves 5 stars. there was another groomer that was totally irrelevant, that came out while i was waiting for my boy to come out & i asked her if there was any buggies and she responded with “i don’t know i’m with grooming”. just uncalled for. she was petite with glasses i believe. very rude for no reason because she was not my groomer and she came out to me asking if i needed anything. unprofessional. then the cashier, hates her job. she was rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing her breath and even mumbled words underneath her breath all because i asked about a flea collar. i have never had service like this from petco and if it wasn’t for Victoria i would never come back. why should we as customers spend money in places where we don’t feel welcomed and literally made feel stupid for asking normal questions? petsmart never did this and i may just take my business back there. i mean i spent $500 in this establishment today. never again though.

Not only are they entirely knowledgeable about animals but the associates are the best! Zoey is always prepared with crickets for my bearded dragon and always in a good mood. I've been to this location at least ten times in the past month and have never encountered an associate who wasn't polite and happy to help.

The level of grooming my dog received was beyond my expectations. He went in looking rough and came out looking like a model. He also came out a lot calmer than he went in and the staff was so kind to him.

I almost always have a good experience when I go to this store, staff is very accommodating and during one of my most recent visits, they went out of their way to help me find a good supplement for my senior pup. Thank you guys!

Don’t bring your dog here if you want your dog returned home safely (WITH YOU AND NOT A RANDOM STRANGER)! They like giving out dogs to the wrong owner. This grooming salon has no care about the dogs safety! Literally had a friend that had their dog sent home with another dogs owner because lack of attention from their rude groomers. Seems like they only care to go outside for their “smoke breaks.” DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG.

Always love a visit to our local pet store. The staff is always friendly... if you can find them... we waited a long time to get some crickets, but a nice gentleman from the front was very pleasant and came over when nobody else did and helped us out. We had a nice conversation about bearded dragons. He was great! The place is always clean and organized. The one complaint I have and always seems to boggle my mind is that I have a hard time finding help when I need it, but when I do get help, they are always friendly.

Ordinarily I would say I like Petco but today I was very disappointed about my Husky/chow cut. I do feel I was heard when I said I did not want all my dog’s hair removed and his tails hair cut. I explicitly expressed I do not want his winter coat “completely” removed. But that’s exactly what they did! I am appalled and feel like I was not heard!

We found everything we needed, and wonder food options. The bed we got was a bit expensive and wish we could have more options that were what we needed at a lower price. We needed a bed that had a fabric that my dog couldn't tear or chew. Other than that I am very pleased

Had a wonderful experience here with Carrie in grooming! She handled my 4 month old puppy perfectly. I was so nervous because the past grooming he had we didn’t great reports from, (he nips a lot) and not great results either. I didn’t expect a perfect haircut because he can be squirmy and likes to nip, but wow she exceeded my expectations! Will definitely return and recommend her.
