Customer service at this location was outstanding! I walked in and was instantly greeted and asked how I could be assist by the lady at the counter. She directed me to the supplies I needed. Another employee named Jayden realized I needed some help and without asking him, he took initiative, grabbed a shovel, came over and started assisting me, loading my vehicle with mulch. His positive attitude and attention to detail were truly remarkable. He gave me tips and tricks to make my yard stand out. He also helped me safely get out of the large lot filled with large trucks loading supplies. His customer service was impeccable; an employee truly deserving of a raise or higher position!

For $70 I got my truck bed absolutely FILLED and was able to cover all this space. Super quick service despite the 6 person line in front of me. Had my bed filled in about 10 minutes and couldn't be happier with the hook up on how much we got! Super friendly guy helped me out as well so Ill definitely be coming back!

3/19/24 Response to Owner's false statement: I was quoted $8,000 for the complete job on 3/19/21 l and paid $8,000. The estimator selected the type of pavers to use and the installation method. I selected the color of the pavers and showed him the area. I was not given any options by the estimator nor did I try to cheap out by telling the estimator to install it poorly or take shortcuts. I'm not sure why the owner would say such a blatant lie 4 years after this review was posted.Ground Cover Supply installed a paver pathway and patio for us in March 2021.They were the lowest bidder for our project.The quality of the finished job was poor. The pavers were laid out around bends and curves without making any cuts. This leads to big gaps in between the pavers - gaps that are too big to hold polymeric sand in place.6 Months later,-The sand in a lot of joints between the pavers has washed out (see the pictures).-There is a haze on the pavers that's been present since the job was complete so the pavers always look dirty and wet in some areas despite dry weather.-There is settling on multiple sections of the walkway and patio. I've pulled a few of the pavers up in these sections and found little to no sand beneath the paver - the pavers are sitting directly on the paver base material.I've received estimates from other contractors to fix these issues and the recommendation from both contractors is that there are so many issues with the pavers being laid unlevel and sunken in multiple areas, that the whole walkway and patio must be re-done from scratch starting with new paver base material.The pictures I've posted are only of a few select areas. These problems are persistent everywhere across the 1,000 sqft of pavers that were laid.We are disappointed because the cost to fix these pavers and lay them correctly will cost the same or more than what I originally paid Ground Cover Supply to do the job, so we are essentially paying for the project twice because of our decision to use Ground Cover Supply.

I had this company come out to lay two concrete slabs in my backyard. One slab looked ok, however, the bigger slab was totally unacceptable. Take a look at the photos. And when I asked them to fix the issues, all they did was try to put additional concrete on top to patch up the bad areas. I asked them to come back out, they refused to do so. Not only that, they left debris in my backyard, tore down my cable line from the street pole and house, damaged my fence pole, and left my driveway a mess. One of the worse company I have ever dealt with, by far.

The owner and his son are very nice and helpful.. they were able to get me the gravel I needed loaded up for a very good price.. I will definitely be using them again in the future... they have a very cute dog that greets you when you walk in and let's you pet him 😊 that's always a plus in my book.. Thanks again..

Never been treated so awful in my life. Brought 1 1/2 cubic yards of the garden mix blend . Says just plant right in it . All I got was dirt clumps told to let dry out . Said if not he could help me with some other stuff .took some up to show them , must of been the owner . He said I didn’t sell you that , and did you wet it ? Well first I was told to let it dry. Then he said what you want me to do with it? I said I was hoping to get something to fix it like you said . He said i ain’t giving you nothing!told him I had hope to plant today finally had a day off he said you should of went to work!I said I could just cry I was so disappointed he said go cry! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve worked with customers for 18 years. Then he said get out . I can tell you I absolutely went in there with with no raised voice or anything was just gonna talk to him. I have never experienced anything like that in my life!

Went in person to arrange delivery for river rock and marble chips. Was told could have the amount I needed (1/2 ton) delivered. Called to make arrangements and was told “by the owner” that they would not deliver less than 5 tons and then he hung up on me. Very rude on the phone and obviously not keen on developing customer base.

On Friday 4/3 I stopped at this business and purchased 40 pieces of Bermuda Grass sod for my yard. I was charged $3 per piece - which I thought was a little high, but chalked it up to it being a small family run business. On Saturday my husband and I realized that our project was a little bigger than either of us thought, and we needed more grass. So my husband went back to Ground Cover Supply, and purchased 100 more pieces of sod. The manager/owner just gave him the remainder of the pallet they had outside, probably between 85-110 pieces. He was charged less than $1 per piece. While my wallet appreciated that much lower price, I couldn’t help but be upset that I was charged three times as much for the same product. It continued to eat at me all afternoon. I ended up having to go back out to a different store for sprinkler parts, and on my way home I stopped in at Ground Cover Supply to see if there was an explanation for why I was charged so much more. I pulled up and went into the office, very calmly and respectfully. I’ve worked many years in retail and customer service, and know that more times than not there is a reasonable explanation, and so I made it a point to not go in angry. It was the same older gentleman (and I use that term lightly) in the office that I had felt with the day before. I reminded him who I was, and what I purchased, and simply asked why there was such a difference in his rates. He replied back, rather rudely, that he didn’t want to have to count the prices in the pallet this morning when my husband came in, so he just got a really good deal. I said that doesn’t explain why I was charged such a high price yesterday. He said he just likes to charge women more. What did I want him to do about it? If I was that unhappy about it I was welcome to bring the sod back and get my money back. I was speechless. I managed to pull myself together, and I repeated him. So, you regularly charge your female customers more? “Yep, I like to charge women more, I get a kick out of it. Make sure you tell all your friends.” This man was an absolute a**hole to me. I didn’t go in there looking for anything for free, or for a refund or anything. I asked a simple question, calmly and politely. Who talks to paying customers like that?? How would he feel if a business owner spoke to his wife like that? Or his daughter? I am the type of person that would prefer to shop a small, smoky run business over a big box store. But I can guarantee you I will not be supporting this business ever again. A business that openly admits that they “like to charge female customers more because he gets a kick out of it.” And is rude and disrespectful to females on top of it. He said to me as I was walking out of the office - “Make sure you go and tell all your friends about it too!” Don’t worry sir, I will. And I will tell them to tell all their friends, and to tell their friends, so on down the line until everyone knows what kind of business you run.

Patio installed by this company started failing within months of completion. Sinking in multiple spots, holding water, pavers around the edges started falling off. Owner refused to honor 1 year warranty. Took him to small claims court and judge awarded us the maximum, $15,000.

I just saw a comment about the folks at Ground Cover supply not treating one female right, but you can’t listen to one lady’s experience and turn away. Im a female and would like to share my experience. The people and staff at ground cover have always been good to us. They have really done exceptional work at my home. The guys at ground cover supply always make sure our yard is taken care of and are always kind to us! I choose to support a local family friendly ran business no matter what the cost. Will definitely have my yard worked on again closer to masters week. With that being said, take into account that there are always two sides of the story. #female

Pretty unprofessional. They are currently working on my neighbor’s yard (neighbor behind my house) and they were throwing plants, root balls and other things into my backyard.. I have a couple acres but you can still see my house from the house they were working on and I was working on a jet ski in my carport and could here the root balls as they hit the ground in my yard. If you can’t do a job correctly and dispose of things that need disposing of, maybe you shouldn’t take on a job. I would advise anyone doing business with them to watch them closely and if you see their trucks around your house working on your neighbors house pay close attention. I have a large fire pit back there and had they asked to throw some debris in it I would’ve been perfectly fine with it but to chuck stuff over a fence into someone else’s property is just unacceptable.

local ground cover supply on washington road. I got pine straw. had to serve myself but it was fun. I climbed into the truck and up the sides to sling the bales down. Loaded 17 bales into my car. When I went inside to pay the gentleman gave me some good advice about pine straw. Who knew all pine straw is not the same?. They sell the best, i was told. I can agree because after I laid it down my landscaping looked like a million bucks. I recommend this place for the quality products and friendly staff!

I bought a pickup truckload of dirt from them no problem so I paid to have them drop off there dump truck worth which they said would be 15tons yet once dumped was only about 7 times what they loaded into my ford ranger days before. Decided to give them another try so bought rock from them and was told one price on the phone then a different price in person, then after paying they tried to load pebbles like would be found on a playground instead of 3/4 river rock I paid for. When I tried to corrected them they got extremely volgar and confrontational, then shorted me nearly half of what I paid for and refused to finish loading it. Horrible customer service!!

A wonderful local establishment I can provide everything from large accent Stone to gravel and Crush and Run and all variety of mulch. I find their pricing to be fair and honest and they are very careful loading with their bobcat in your pickup truck. Their website has excellent information as well as advice on load capacity so the average truck owner doesn't make an error that cost them a suspension. I highly recommend them

I am a woman (proudly) who stopped by this location to purchase a tree on Christmas Eve. Noone was there so I called and left a message and received a phone call back. Guy DeVoor was very friendly and helpful! I shared with him that I have been out of a job since Covid hit in March. He blessed me with a great deal...a FREE tree! I also purchased a Christmas tree from them last year on Christmas Eve when I had a job and was given a really good deal. In both experiences, I have been treated kindly and fairly and would do business with them again!

Ordered $700 of mulch to be delivered. Asked that it be delivered the next day when I was at home, so I could be specific on where to dump. They wanted to deliver same day and promised it would be dumped where specified. I came home and found mulch was dumped in wrong place and all over my lawn. I called to complain and got a sorry/nothing can be done about it now response. What would have been a one day job spreading the mulch is now three, and it's going to ruin my lawn.
