What a treasure! You think you are out in the middle of nowhere, and then suddenly there is this delightful café with outdoor seating. The food was delicious... We both got smash burgers with bacon and Bleu cheese with fries. The weather was just right, a mockingbird was singing, and the service was quick and friendly. A nice stop while sight seeing in the area.

Nothing better than after hiking or horseback riding in the Cohuttas then going to this special place for a smash burger or a portobello mushroom sandwich to top off a great day. So convenient if you’re staying up in the hills. Great place to stop in for lunch. Sandwiches made to order. All the little necessities you need that you don’t want to have to run into town for and we hear the smashburger grill on the weekend is amazing. Dog friendly patio too!

This place is great. Nothing but positive things to say about the burgers, biscuits, fries (gotta try em with mountainside sauce!), and the folks working there. Convenient location, next to the entrance to Cohutta wilderness. My friends were trying to explore the area and every time they wanted to go eat my suggestion was Mountainside Market! Will be back soon, possibly staying in the airbnb next door!

Smash burgers are the best in the area. Sandwiches made with high quality ingredients served on fresh bread. We discovered this gem in the mountains and will definitely be returning. Worth the drive to enjoy a unique business with a well stocked general store and quaint cafe. We wish the owners much success!

Great sandwich! This stop is near the Big Frog loop on the Georgia Traverse. It’s worth stopping and meeting the nice couple who run the store and deli. The turkey and ham combo was delicious!

A place to swing by when you’re in the mountains!! We rented a house a few miles down the road and forgot a few things. Stopped by this market and it was so awesome! They have a little of everything from dairy products, drinks, boars head deli meat, baking and cleaning and bathroom essentials. They also had a large bundle of firewood for $10. The staff was super nice, very friendly and welcoming! When you walk in during morning hours, the aroma of breakfast fills the air! It’s literally the a slice of heaven in the mountains!

Mountainside Market was such a gem of a place that we were blessed to have available during our stay in Blue Ridge. It was so nice to have a small market nearby so that we did not have to venture all the way into town. The staff is incredibly friendly and their sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Definitely take advantage of this cute spot if you are in the area.

My husband and I had a great late lunch on Sunday. The smash burgers were wonderful and the fries were hot and sprinkled with flaked salt. The service impeccable, we asked for our burger to be cut in half to share and it was, plus they gave us a second basket to use for sharing. Very nice market with a bit of everything. Will be back very soon.

Great place!! Amazing hand picked selection of specialized drinks and snacks. Delicious breakfast biscuits and lunch sandwiches/burgers. Very nice and clean with adequate outdoor seating. You can purchase ice, food, toiletries and specialty gifts. There is Wi-Fi and such a friendly atmosphere. The owner is SO nice and the workers are all so helpful. SO glad to have found this place!!!!!

Great little market with surprising finds like organic milk and free-range eggs. The staff and owner are warm, friendly, and helpful. The space is clean and set up well. The sandwiches are tasty with fresh veggies too. Cozy covered outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

So convenient when you don’t want to drive all the way into downtown Blue Ridge. Great smash burgers on the weekends. And a great grab and go shop. The patio is perfect to sit outside and grab a quick lunch.

The best little marketplace! Family run, friendly, and delicious! The smash burgers are amazing, along with their special sauce they put on them. And we are obsessed with their breakfast biscuits too! So good, and fluffy! Great selection of items for a weekend stay in the mountains!

This is a small local place with limited offerings but what they do is off the charts. Not only is the food delicious but the portions are more than generous. This is a local hangout waiting to be the best place in Epworth. Other patrons appreciate the small hometown experience and the owners are amazing.Wishing nothing but long term success

A delightful new business run by very nice people (Kevin, Missy and Steve)! Cute little country store that offers grocery items, Boar's Head products, toiletry items, small gifts, things you might need for a hike, etc. Besides being a grocery, they offer deli sandwiches daily and grilled items on the weekends. Just purchased (and devoured) a burger. The sauce they put on the burger is the best! Today, they also offered chocolate cheesecake brownies! My compliments to the baker... I should have bought two! Will definitely be back and am so happy we have Mountainside Market in the area!

These are wonderful people with great food and great prices. During a ultra long mountain bike race, they took us in and supported us. Offering us a great place to eat, cleanup, rest, and restock. Please go visit them, you'll love it!

We took a quick trip to this area from Southern Georgia. To find this amazing market just down the road from our cabin was fantastic! In our 4 day trip, I believe we visited the market all most everyday! The grill that is open, Thursday-Sunday, has amazing burgers and fries. The lady and gentlemen that work in there are so kind and very helpful. I could stay there all day and talk with them! They have everything you need (food, groceries, medicines, meats, etc.). Visit this market and support their business! We need more places like this in America!

Such a nice and clean store just before entering the Cohuttas. The owners are top notch and I can’t stop thinking about the sandwich I had 24 hrs into a Mtb ride. I’m back in the area for Labor Day and planning my ride around a resupply stop here.

A newly cut gem hidden in the mountains. My girlfriend and I stopped by on our way to Dally Gap and we were blown away by the quality of food and service. Kevin is a delight and the mountain sauce is delicious. Don't skip on your next trip.
