Ellijay Walmart is ridiculous. It seems like their employees are all supposedly recovering addicts or elderly disabled veterans. The elderly don't know where anything is and they don't know the registers. The younger employees have swollen red hands and droopy eyelids (IYKYK) .. THAT'S first. Second , app says "unavailable in store" for grocery orders and when I go for my elderly patient, the items ARE in stock .

For for days in a row I was in Walmart passing the Oscar Meyer refrigerator section. Each day I pulled spoiled hot dogs out of the case...green and grey mea b s spoiled...finding a manager is a difficult task.First day I pulled 6 pks ... second day 8 pks ...third day 17 pks...forth day 5...I witnessed Mgr putting the spoiled product back in the case twice... on the third day I told tge Mgr you are hard to find. His response was who did you ask they need to be disaplined.disappointed..Yesterday, the forth day I took the pks that I could carry to the Mgr and only said "seriously ". Then took a pic of the ones that I could not carry.This is dangerous!

I wish they picked up the phone when I called, and I wished they had a Mac charger I needed, but it's still a store with a lot of services and helpful staff, so still deserves 5 stars 😊 And I love their delivery services!

Bought brand new pair of AirPods.Issues with supports, and wouldn’t even give change at a register. Also online pricing issues and wouldn’t match Thor own online price.Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.Do not recommend

Beautiful place and very busy. We didn't HIKE the 600 steps to the top of the falls. We're old and clumsy. We drove to the top and walked to the bridge overlooking the top of the falls. Still plenty of places to explore with picnic and rest areas along with playgrounds for the kids.

Went in through the garden center as we only needed roundup and a small shovel as we were on our way to visit my family’s burial spots. They had three different sizes of the round up and none of them were priced. No associates were present at the check out or the gardening department outside. The price checker located near by did not operate. We ended up leaving and going right next door to Lowe’s.

Ellijay Walmart is a joke. The customer service is an even bigger joke. The employees are the absolute laziest to top it off. Have you ever been able to get checked out in the electronics department? I haven’t. They blatantly ignore you at best. Many times I have only needed a phone card (one item) from their own department and they ignore me like a plague. Perhaps they don’t know how a register functions I don’t know but I do know I blame the managers. They need held responsible for the poor quality that is Ellijay Walmart. Poor service and all. The tire side now puts online orders ahead of people that show up in PERSON with cash. They will literally move your car out of line to put a car in that shows up after you just because they are too poor to invest in another bay for online orders specifically. Again, what a joke. The absolute best thing Walmart can do for itself is to FIRE ALL employees in the mechanics section and ALL of the employees in the electronics department. They have proved themselves useless and paying them to ignore or cut customers in line is an insult to anyone with intelligence. Come to think of it now they make most of their customers go through a SELF checkout, so why have any employees at all? They do nothing! I will not return until serious changes are made to BOTH the managers staff AND the employees staff. If I could rate half a star I would but let’s be honest they do not deserve that either. Do NOT shop here, they do not deserve your money. Let the items sit and expire on the shelf and shop elsewhere. Somewhere that treats it’s customers with respect like businesses used to do.

Always go with the intent of a quick visit and just a few things, but I end up spending a few hours and buying way more than I need. It's a nice store. It's clean. And for the most part, the employees are helpful. Some more than others. Being it's the only Walmart around. I recommend anyone use it lol..

As far as Walmarts go... It has all that I expect them to have. It's cleaner than most. The store brand bread section gets depleted fast, the condiments isle has mostly great prices and the produce seems fresh.The Great Value brand cheese is 'a great value' and recently is good quality cheese. If that changes I'll be updating. The store's staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the express self checkout guy's cape, as he went along, register to register, saving the day, on New Year's Eve day which is a very busy day. See pic. ... and pray always 🙏!

I've shopped here many times. When going in for a few grocery items or a bag of fertilizer for the lawn it's usually an easy go. But I went in for technical, a phone. And " the guy " was gone till the next day. There is no excuse for this. Don't advertise services and items your not providing. It's just wrong. I defence of Walmart though, people just don't have the work ethic that was put forth in the previous years. The declination of pride in your work and your employer due to bias and inflation without due pay compensation has contributed to this factor. Our country needs this company to be a leader in leveling the gap on poverty.

It was great just like before. No problems.well stocked , staff friendly.Would encourage everyone to shop on line and pickup and also have your items shipped to your home when possible. The Wal Mart + is great. You should give it a try.
