Took my boy to get a full groom yesterday, his name is Nova, showed up, and the staff were very friendly, willing to talk to you about your pets special attention needs. The lady knew it was my dog's first time getting groomed, and was very gentle with him. Honestly very quick with getting the job done, and he looked very handsome, and smelled amazing. He came out happy which is super important to me. And the price that I was quoted on the phone was actually more than what I paid, so they have great pricing, and don't over charge. I'm very satisfied with the visit, and recommend this place to anyone with a pup that needs a trim, and a good cleaning. Fantastic place. Thank you guys!

I have two rescue dogs that I brought for a full package groom a few days ago. One of the dogs has anxiety like I've never seen before - super, super high strung. I had to give him two Benadryl tablets (recommended by our vet) prior to dropping him off. We had him groomed a year ago in Marietta by another groomer that was not able to complete the service because he jumped off the table (nearly hanging himself) and wouldn't let the groomer proceed! To my complete surprise our baby looked FANTASTIC!!! He was bathed, COMPLETELY WELL groomed and happy!!! Our second dog was too, but she's much better behaved :) We will absolutely take them to be groomed at Pets on Main on a regular basis. We are beyond thrilled with the results, and more importantly the way they treated our babies!!

Pets On Main is a fabulous pet store & a great place to have your fur-kids pampered with a bath and a nail trim. The staff is very friendly and are absolutely practicing social distancing. My husband and I have used Pets On Main for years and have always been very pleased. Highly recommended.

Just paid $40 for my dog to get a bath. My husband brought our dog in this morning at 9 am. He has never been groomed before and that was our main concern since he is a 4 yo working dog. He is very vocal and a sweetheart but we were informed they had 2 groomers there that were great with large dogs. 30 minutes after dropping him off we received a call that he was being aggressive. My husband went to immediately pick him up to be told that he was not agressive just very scared and they didn't want to push it. If you don't have the tools or experience to run your business then don't say you can groom large breed dogs.

My pet Ruby and I love going here. Everyone is so nice and we are always pleased when we leave! Ruby always gets the full groom package and always looks beautiful when she is done! Bailey is super nice and knowledge and treats ruby like a princess! Freddie is always friendly and helpful when needing to make an appt. Highly recommend this place!! ☺️

Bailey was awesome! I dropped my older little guy off to be groomed professionally for the first time in a year after a bad experience with PetSmart and was very nervous. Bailey was able to reassure me and took great care of Koda, even finished his groom in a little over an hour! We’ll be coming regularly!

They are really good with animals. This is the only grooming place that my fur baby doesn't start whimpering and clawing to get away as soon as he sees where he is! They are as accommodating as time allows and their prices are in line with others doing the same business. Highly recommend.

Bailey is that groomer for us and we are so happy to have found her. She is knowledgeable about professionally grooming all breeds and treats our pet with kindness. Pets On Main is fabulous! I was passing through with my lab and we went hiking which resulted in quite the dirty pup. I frantically googled a groomer to take care of my girl and Pets On Main had the best reviews. Boy oh boy, I wish I had a groomers like this in my town. Everyone was BEYOND hospitable and took care of my girl with the upmost love and attention. They got her sparkling like a new penny. The groomers were so friendly, and the owner was such a sweet lady who you could tell cares for her business and everyone around her. I would recommend this establishment over and over again!

I had a negative experience with the previous groomer but decided to give them another chance. I met the new groomer Erin and she was so friendly and listened to my concerns. She does an amazing job with my two dogs! She gets to know you and them and she and all of the staff make you feel like family. They also helped me out tremendously when my big boy was involved in an accident near their shop. I will forever be grateful for all of the kindness and compassion they showed us that day! They went above and beyond!

We had two very positive grooms for our Yorkie and Bernedoodle. The third groom left our doodle with scabs on his ears, under his chin and on his neck. He had several matted areas that could have contributed to these issues but we are unsure. Our dog was at the vet the next day and she told us to keep an eye on his ears. He was then at Board and Train for 14 days. When he returned we contacted Pets On Main because large scabs were still present on his ears. We were disappointed the owner did not believe us when we contacted her, particularly since my wife had met the owner one day in town and she left a positive impression with my wife. Yesterday, 18 days later, the vet told us his ears are healing and should be fine. We are sad this happened and we will not return to Pets On Main.

We have brought our dog Chloe to Pets on Main in the past. The groomer always took anywhere to 4-6 hours to groom our little Shih Tzu. Took Chloe back last time and there were new groomers that were certified now instead of the old ones that use to work there. Well it only took an hour to groom our dog which I thought was pretty quick. The groomer shaved her down because of all the mats which was fine. We got our dog home and she was terrified and wouldn't eat or drink anything for a couple days. Literally took a couple weeks for our dog to return to her normal self. I will never recommend them again to anyone. Please stay away from this business and look elsewhere.

A top-notch groomer that knows their stuff. Bongo is a cream sable Pomeranian that mats easily. Erin knew exactly how to get the mats out without shaving the entire area around Bongos ears and arm pits. He looked like a show dog when I picked him up and he was dried completely, unlike many groomers in the past that leave my dogs damp. Love the products they used on him as well. Great smell, not overpowering.

They are located right behind my house. I go in nearly everyday. They are the friendliest people in Ellijay! Pets on Main is incredible with animals. They love what they do and it shows. Best grooming service in North Georgia by far!!

Pets on Main is truly the best! Bailey cuts my Maltese Braxton and is so gentle on his skin. I live in Canton, so I travel a bit to come to her, but she is truly worth the drive and wait. Freddy handles the front end is a absolute sweetheart. She always manages to squeeze Braxton in if needed. I found pets on Main a year ago and refuse to go anywhere else! Also, Braxton got pretty full during the covid closure, and she didn't even charge an extra fee for his Mats! They really are the Best around. Thank You all so much.

They are pricey. However, the owner is extremely helpful and kind. She even opened the store for me on a holiday because I was out of cat food. They have never groomed my animals but they have cut their nails and even used the drimmel to make them rounded on the ends so they wouldn't tear my sheets. My dog miraculously survived the experience without her sedatives. Bambi has severe anxiety and has to be sedated to get her nails clipped but i didn't give them to her that day. They have high quality food and natural kitty litter that actually works. It's a good experience with a small business personal touch that walmart can't offer.

We didn't bring in our German shepherd this time as it was our first time in this cute little pet store but I was very impressed by the selection of toys and accessories for dogs! The staff is very knowledgeable and clearly cares about your pet! Can't wait to bring Acadia in next time!
