Such a darling place! We were on the hunt for raw milk, but they unfortunately were all sold out when we got there so we got some butter, ice cream and other snacks instead. The strawberry ice cream was delicious as were the sourdough crackers. My kiddos loved seeing the animals and feeding the goats.

Wow, this place is amazing! The meat is top-notch, and we had a blast checking out the rabbits, goats, and baby cow. The blooming trees made it feel like a movie scene. Such an awesome experience!

We went here in July 2023.It is a little out of the way, but that’s fine because you get to enjoy some of the countryside on the way there. The farm has a store. They sell fun things like hot sauces, olives, and chips. Of course they have milk, cheeses, including goat cheese, and butter. They even offer raw cow milk, advertised as for pets. We bought some goat milk soap and a candle. We didn’t get any of their beef products such as steak, liver, and bones, because we didn’t have a container to keep them cool, so make sure you bring something like that. There are also animals that you can pet. When we went there were calves and goats. There are probably 10, maybe 15 parking spaces. That was fine when we went since we had 3 vehicles, and there were a couple other families there at the same time. It is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp at the front. We really enjoyed this place and would love to come back with a cooler to be able to take some more of their products.

Beautiful drive on the approach and a lovely farm shop here at Mountain Valley Farm. Calves, cows, goats and rabbits are around the parking lot and can be approached and petted. The shop itself is full of quality products for purchase. The ice cream is top delicious. This is a great little place to bring the family for 30 minutes of farm animal encounters and the purchase of tasty foods.

For the reviewers that say the steaks are tough or the staff is rude you must not have gone to the correct place. The meat is awesome but some folks don't know how to cook so their food comes out like beef jerky and that's a personal problem. The staff is generally 1 person and they are always able to help or answer my questions. A lot of local products. The meet is from the family farm. Meat is priced a bit high for me but that's just my opinion. Great selection.

Best ice cream I've ever had! With local cream and pure vanilla beans- can't beat that. Plus the location and the animals was a lovely sight that the kids loved!

It's definitely worth the drive out there. We didn't buy any meat because we had just bought some from somewhere else the night before. However, had we not, then we would have. The views are amazing, and the kids had fun seeing the animals. We got a lot of great pics.

I have wanted to stop by for a while to see the creamery options, but it hasn't worked out with my schedule until this past Sunday. There are small yard signs to help you find your way, but we found the graphics not as clear and easy to see as we'd like. You'll drive into the farm and past a few buildings before you see the farm store on your left. It can feel like you're driving onto private property, but it's back there. There was plenty of rolled butter available, but all of the milk had reserved tags, so there was none available for walk-in purchase. If you're planning on milk you should probably call ahead before you make the drive. There was a nice selection of cheese from Sweetwater Valley Farm & Creamery in TN though. The overall selection was a bit smaller than I was anticipating, but it's also late January so many places are slow right now.The restroom is outside the store building and is well maintained and the animals by the parking lot keep things light and fun.

Love this place! My sister has been telling me about the farm store for over a year now, and I'm so glad I finally gave in and took a trip up! Their choices of meat are fantastic and I really love that they're grass-fed grass finished, that's a huge plus! Then walking around outside was awesome. First there were these three little bunnies in the bushes right outside their store, and then the calf was so cute and sweet. We crossed the road where they had their sheep in a pin where a sheepdog was being very protective barking at all the people standing there. As we walked over to see the baby sheep that were a few days old, he had calmed down and was just laying and hanging out with his buddies. It's a beautiful farm and actually all of Ellijay was absolutely beautiful.Highly recommend Mountain Valley Farm and the store! I'll be back!

That was the perfect experience! We went there for the first time on Saturday, and we loved it.The guys are selling great meats and sausages, delicious ice cream, some of the best hot sauces I ever tasted and many more things.Everyone was very friendly and the kids loved the free running bunnies, the goats and the cows.I can only say, keep it up! It hardly gets any better!

Surprised to find it virtually empty, but Sue explained that this being the week after a major "cooking holiday" was normal. Totally makes sense!Goats, cows, ducks, sheep, rabbits, and an old Ford pickup are nice photo opportunities...The store has a great array of Bar-B-Q books and sauces available to compliment the meats they sell. There are also, honey, raw milk (for pets), glass jar canned items, and other items.Meat is frozen to -10°F which will allow you some time to get it home even if you forgot a cooler! (Sadly, we were not going straight home, so couldn't buy anything to take... but happily it's a great excuse to go back!)

Their beef is high quality dry aged. The filets are our standard pick for entertaining and they always get rave reviews for taste and tenderness from our guests. Definitely worth the drive! (We just restocked our freezer)

We took some friends who live in North Georgia. They were pleasantly surprised to find this place. Upon entering, it smells so nice from the lavender hand soap. BBQ sauces, oils, all kinds is specialty jarred items, cheeses, and meats. Be sure to check it out. Oh - and bring a (big) cooler with cold packs!!! You’ll be glad you did.

From time to time we enjoy heading to North Georgia to enjoy farm raised beef from Mountain Valley Farms; and on our way we stop to grab apples from #BJReeceOrchards and even make a quick stop at one of the wineries. This time we discovered a new one, #Canoevineyardandwinery.

The best stop for quality meat! So many other options, too! We tried cheese, crackers, nuts, and shortbread cookies. Took our impromptu picnic to a nearby winery for a wonderful day!

The best grass fed beef I've tasted in a long time. Check online for a current menu/selection before you go, and be sure to pick up some roll butter while you're there.

Off the beaten path. Wright family owned farm and store. Small and charming and loved the experience, the people, the ice cream and cheese and about to try the locally produced fig jam I bought!!

I enjoyed my quick pop into this store. They have a nice variety of cheeses, meats and locally made products. They also sell hand churned ice cream, which was delicious! I unfortunately didn't have a chance to explore the surrounding area and meet the different farm animals since I had a dog with me (they are not dog friendly, which is understandable) but the views I could see were lovely.
