We visited this store in March. We were looking for a durable chew toy for our one year old Yorkie poo. She destroys most toys. The sales clerk in the store was awesome. Very helpful. We bought a Buffalo horn and a leather fox toy. The Buffalo horn is holding up great. She chewed through the leather toy in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend the Buffalo horn.

This is an adorable pet shop in downtown Ellijay. The staff are very friendly and helpful in suggesting products for your pups! Always a must-visit when I’m in town!

We were visiting the area, and decided to stop in for some treats. we LOVED this place. The guy at the counter ( I wish I would have asked his name) was SO nice. He was asking about our pets ( who were at the airbnb) On Halloween we decided to take the girls to the halloween festival, and everyone was so friendly, they took pictures of our pets, as well as gave him some treats. We are from out of town, and cannot wait to visit again soon!

Super cute Little Pet store with tons of natural options to choose from with limited ingredients. Cute toys and accessories. The gentleman working the counter was soft spoken but very helpful and have us great advice in the treats we selected.

They mostly always have what u need . I love taking my dogs so they can pick a toy or a treat . Is pet friendly n the people that run it are always so friendly.

We were in Ellijay to eat lunch after apple picking and saw this cute store. Our dog went gaga over the treat bins and all of the wonderful smells! The owner is so nice and helpful. Definitely stop in for a treat for your bff.

I'm so glad I discovered this local store. Every person is so helpful and nice - they gave me some great recommendations for dog food brands to help my dog who suffers with bad allergies. I have been using this food now for several months and I am amazed at the effect it has had on my dog - she is not licking and scratching anymore at all. Thanks so much for all of the help you provide - what a gem in our town!

Lady so nice, she help us find a treats for our fur babies and they love those treats she recommended us. My boyfriend and I just came to visit last month.😊our first time in Ellijay Ga, if we decided to go back again we definitely gonna visit this store again! 😊

Visited this store now in March, 2021. Greeted by Mason, owners beautiful dog at the door, we were met with a friendly and knowledgeable owner. He took his time showing us and helping us adjust the harness we were interested in. He was able to entertain and assists several visitors and everyone was just hanging out enjoying the store. Great inventory! Even sells ice cream for the doggies!!!

Best place in the world to take you dog. I called just to see what the hours were. I talked to the person there, and he was very polite and told him what ibwas looking for. So I loaded up the Husky and when I got there he had a harness and leash ready to go. We fitted it on the Husky and he was extremely knowledgeable and was extremely helpful. He also told me about some events the store was doing. I can't say enough good things about this location. I'll say it again BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO TAKE YOUR DOG!

This is the best pet store we've ever gone to. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They care about your animals and they even take the time to learn your names! We have some special needs pups and they always remember and suggest things that will work for them. Highly recommend!!

LOVE THIS STORE! Originally met the family that owns it in Background over the summer and we had a great conversation with them -- my pup got the chance to play with theirs. Don't make it up this way often; however, forgot they mentioned over the summer they were opening a store in Ellijay... Imagine my surprise when I saw Frecky (I know I butchered the spelling 😅) as I walked in! Just as wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable as they were before. They make GREAT recommendations for all my dog's needs! 10 out of 10 recommend.

We have been to mountain hounds several times since acquiring two puppies. They are great- products are healthy choices for our pups and very knowledgable about doggies. Can't say enough great things- go by and check them out.

A cute local store, great products, but you can shop here two dozen times and the owner never has any idea you or your dog are a repeat customer. Most small local businesses this is not the case.
