Looks like they put things that don't sell from the other locations off on us out here in the country because we have no other options but to take it or leave it. Lately I've been leaving it, and I wonder when the Black Creek area is going to get a REAL grocery store. It's a food desert out here even with the booming amount of people who have moved into the area and the extra people the Hyundai plant has drawn to the area! I can't believe the owner of Piggly Wiggly Ellabell doesn't put forth more effort to stock fresh, in date, variety of, healthy, and quality foods at better prices. The decline of this store began when they added the beer cooler and took out the gas pumps.

This store has a wide variety of meats of which I have not seen anywhere else in the area, and also at low prices. I, personally, have not had any problems with their meats or any other products, as of this review, but I will update this review as needed. Although I found the meat prices to be particularly low, I have found that the prices of some other products to be slightly elevated in comparison to other stores in the area. Also, being a smaller store their selection of products is limited, apart from the meat section. I have no reason to lie on a review, and neither am I choosing this rating based simply on customer service nor do I personally know anyone that works there.

Never buy meat or produce from the Blackcreek location and be very careful with dairy products and double check your expiration dates on dairy.

It's more like a convenience store than a grocery store. You need a light jacket to walk around, it's cold in there! I was looking at the pork butts yesterday to get one to put in the smoker, not seeing what I wanted, and the butcher walks up and asks if I needed some help. I've never had that happen before! I asked him for a small bone in pork butt and lo and behold, about a minute later I'm walking out with a beautiful four pound Boston butt! That's great customer service.

I gave it a one star only cause I had too. After the second pack of rotted chicken that smelt like death I bought and the waste of money on the nasty produce, I go there only if I have to. Only buy sides from there. All these good reviews are lies or they just happy with customer service. 💯 percent truth. Jlyk.

They ordered frozen corn nuggets for me!! They're the only place around here that sells them! I bought 5 bags and I will definitely be back for more!

Haven't been to a Piggly wiggly 🐷 in forever. I live north and haven't visited the south in a long time . The staff is great 👍🏽🌟 and friendly. The service was fast and I got my sausage 🌭. I even got a memento as they do sell trinkets in the store as well . Definitely recommend a stop by if on a trip . 👍🏽

This place is a complete dump. Everything in this store is over priced.There is always rotted vegetables and rotten meat in their display cases.Whoever gave this place more than one star obviously works there or has a son that works there, or something of the nature. I am bewildered in the fact that the Bryan County health department lets this place continue to operate. I guess their on the payroll

Very friendly employees. Will greet you everytime you walk in the doors . Are patient with you even if you have to count change to pay for your groceries 😢. Thanks it means a lot ❤

The experience was awesome the butcher came out the back and ask me is there anything I can help you with? I replied yes Sr I'm looking for ground pork, he replied we have it but we're out.. I'm grounding up hamburger meat right know and I will have some after 5 today. If you can come back it will be ready I'm sorry for inconvenience. I replied yes Sr see you then thank you it's very hard to find. He replied if you don't mind me asking what do you do with ground pork. I replied I'm have food Alergey and can't eat beef so I make spaghetti, meat loaf with it and it's awesome.

Just a word of advice if you ever Advertise something for a certain price that should be the price you pay unless you take the tag off of it do not tell me that they forgot to take the tag off that is called false advertisement.The only reason I was getting 2 is because it was a better deal but then didn't end up paying that at the register..

i only come here out of absolute necessity since it’s the only thing around. prices are too high, and i have seen them put discounts on food already expired. hopefully another grocery store will come along soon.

Mostly wonderful staff.. Always clean and people are friendly. Unfortantly they let go one of my favorite cashiers. A lot of the customers I know loved her. Her name is Heather. I wish they would bring her back. She always had a smile on her face and always greeted everyone as they walked in with such a warm and inviting feeling.

Great value. Old time experience. Service can't be better. Where else can you re- assemble a pig they have every cut. I enjoy shopping here they're out of the way but worth the drive.

This store is as basic as it gets. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but not all. If you need a few staples, this will do. If you need something as exotic and rare as cilantro, better go to Ken's IGA.

Not sure how to say it but I have been a loyal customer until today. Not after the experience with Jennifer and I think Greg was his name. PurchSed 10 of bag of chicken last week and paid cash because the computers were down. No receipt given. Got home later and went to cook the chicken. Almost got sick. Was at the store today and mentioned it. You would have thought I was robbing them when I said you owed me 10 pds of chicken and what I bought was bad last week. You have to have a receipt and bring the chicken back to us to get credit. I told them that I would not put anything that stunk that bad back in my vehicle. Never seen a neighbor hood store not care about its customers. I asked them to have Ashley the owner call me. No call yet. Deciding not to shop there anymore since 6.90 for chicken dictates their policy. If I didn't know the meat cutter and staff it would be different. This is not your friendly neighbor hood store that I use to go to. Goodbye.

Store was very clean, cashier was very friendly and spoke t ok everyone as soon as you walked in the door. The lady putting up frozen food & dairy spoke to me as soon as I rounded the corner. I just moo oved to Ellabell and I will be back to shop here.
