This place is amazing. Dr. Rice and the staff are so caring. We have 8 dogs and they work with all of them. They always have good availability. Highly recommend!!!Update review: I had an emergency today at 4pm with one of my puppys. He got attacked by a coyote. I called and they said come on. Dr. Rice and her staff are amazing and took great care of him and in my opinion saved him. They actually care about the animals that come there.

Im from out of town and my dog needed medical care. They were really friendly once i was able to get ahold of them, were able to get my dog in within the week and the vet was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I did have to call them back to get the results of my dogs tests and was told they called and left me a message, but i didn't have a missed call or vm, so I'm not sure what happened there, and i had to take my dog back to give more blood and urine as the initial tests were not useable for a couple different reasons, not necessarily in their control. The only thing i would have liked to to have gone differently was to receive the treatment plan and costs on a piece of paper so i could make educated decisions and figure out my budget. When i asked for the cost breakdown, i was just given a total, verbally.

Has great staff and they are wonderful with my Dogs and cats. I've had all of my animals spayed and neutered with them. They have called to check on my animals after their procedures. I take my animals for everything they need and they are always great with them! Highly recommend their services.

I thought it was going to take much longer than it did to get my dog up to date on his rabies vaccination, a heart worm test and meds for flea and tick but it all took about 15 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you for taking care of my best friend 🐕

Liked this vet until I recently scheduled a rabies appointment with them and whoever answered the phone was rude.she acted like she was in a hurry and that I was an inconvenience to her ( like she had better things to do) I explained to her that she could take one of my pets out of my account due to him passing away and she said Ill take It out no I'm sorry for your loss or anything ......She just said ok I'll take it out and sighed . If you don't like your job get another one . Currently looking for another vet .

We are new to the area and our beloved dog cut his leg while chasing mice. I called, they said "Come on over". He wound up with 4 staples but he will be fine. I think we have found our vet!

My wife and I had to go out of town for a few days this week and our fur baby Abby couldn't travel with us. With no one else to look after her we boarded her with Elberton Animal Hospital. She was well taken care of and even received the pedicure we requested that they would do. Neither my wife nor myself feel comfortable enough to try to cut her nails ourselves.She was happy with her treatment but it was obvious that she missed us and was very unhappy that she missed out on the trip out of town...

Dr. Jones shows she cares about what she does! Actions speak loads! She is the best and has help me when I rescued a kitten, and helped me with my get babies that are up in age of 11 years without costing me every dollar I have by using the knowledge she learned from going to school!

The employees are rude, the doctor seemed sketchy, and I recieved my cat the day after her surgery covered in feces and blood. They didn't bother cleaving her up after and the medication given had incorrect measurements. I had originally heard that they weren't good but it was an emergency so I had to rush my cat there instead of going out of town.

The girl at the front desk was nice and even though the place wouldnt look at a sweet little kitten my fiance found with an injury unless I paid... the girl still tried to help me best she could with directions to animal control... Animal control of Elbert county would not take injured animals though.(P.s. I have been doing physical therapy on the kitten and her and she's doing better already)

I had used them for a few years. then I got a feral dog and couldn't get him on the leash. Dr Stirn had given me subscriptions on several occasions to tranquilize the dog and it was never enough to sedate him, mind you the pills were around $20 each. In the midst of my despair on trying to find another solution , they had no additional information or service that they offered me. Later I found out they had a different vet that did house calls and none of them, the front desk, Dr Stirn, no one told me she was available to come out. To me, their response was no concern of theirs. It was very disappointing. They lost 5 patients.
