Had my small dog groomed there today. Will never return. They told me she'd be ready for pickup in 3-4 hrs. It took 5 1/2 and looks awful. Their excuse was that "the previous dog was terrible and they had to talk to that pet parent". Why even make appointments if it's not anywhere close of an estimate? It's a terrible groom, don't even know where to start and I just realized my poor dog has a big blood blister on one of her paw pads and it's clearly very painful. It was not there before. I'm assuming she was injured with the Dremel while doing her nails. It's a bad wound and I will probably have to take her to the vet. When I came in after 4 1/2 hours the groomer looked very stressed and told me she couldn't blow dry her (because she didn't like it). She's the most mellow docile dog ever. Seems most likely that was just a nice short cut for groomer while they let her air dry. The groomer told that I could go ahead and take her if I wanted, incomplete. Really? Wish I had now to spare her from injury. I guess I should be thankful they didn't blow dry her as they might have burned her too.I paid extra for some "spring strawberry special" and I told them I did not want cologne on her. And they assured me that the other products would smell wonderful. When I picked her up, there was no aroma and they told me oh no, that's not from the shampoo products it's from the cologne. Could have told me that earlier. And I had to ask for the scarf.To make things worse, there was no apology, no mention of my inconvenience, it took another hour after I arrived at 4:30 when she'd been there since noon and she was the last dog. They rushed me out with not one care about the experience or mentioning she had been injured. I remained polite and thanked them despite the bad experience. So I paid $91+ tip (not a big one like I usually leave but she was lucky to get anything) for a bad groom which took forever and they hurt my dog.To top it all off the cashier was pretty rude and could have cared less when I said I had a bad experience.I will never visit Petco again, for anything.

My pup is a rescue that i have had 1 week. After getting cleared at the vet, i made an appointment. Petco Duluth was able to work us in to help make Poppy Grace presentable. Although her fur needed to be trimmed short, she was adorable when I picked her up. Thank you for the prompt service and taking care of her.

Always a pleasure to bring Rex. Petco has always been there for us anytime and any location we go to. The groomers/staff are always friendly and go out of their way to accommodate Rex and his needs. We are very pleased and grateful for all of their help these years. Thank you Petco!

I have been a loyal customer for the past 9 years. The events that happened yesterday should have never taken place. I dropped off my dogs to get groomed at 8:15 and was told my dogs would be ready for pick up before closing. I arrived to pick up my dogs at 5:20, upon arriving there was a paper sign on the door stating they were closing early. No one called me to let me know the shop would be closing earlier than usual and I would have picked my dogs up before the shop closed. Finally someone appeared and I explained to them my dogs were at the groomers and there was no one available to return me my dogs. The person who assisted me and said before I give you your dogs pay first. I was charged a knotting fee to detangle my dogs fur even though my dog was completely shaved. I asked for a trim not a shave. My other dogs fur was cut shorter than I requested as well but not as bad as my schnauzer. Never will I be retiring to this facility as there was complete negligence with the care of my dogs and their grooming was not at all what I requested. Also, not to mention, my bichon had a bloody cut on the top of his nose.

This review is only for the grooming section! I have had no issues with the retail side.I would say be careful when booking a grooming appointment overall. 1 star because the lady who did the grooming for my puppy was nice and because my puppy's under paw fur and nails were taken care of nicely.4 stars removed because the other staff yelled at and insulted me and my dog, they wouldn't do the full groom that we booked because they said it would take too long, since she's a puppy and because of her breed. There was a lot of sarcasm and blame placed on me for my puppy having thick fur.The staff member yelled that I lied about my dog's breed, even though both her breeds were on file on the company's website. They had that information at the time of booking, so I wish there had been some prior communication if there was a problem with the scheduling instead of taking the inconvenience out on my dog and me.When I picked my puppy up, she had hardly anything done, she kind of just smelled like wet dog, and she had scratches all over her nose from the razor. She had gotten a full groom before at a different company and came out clean, smelling nice, and fully trimmed with no scratches, so I don't recommend this place. It should be noted that my dog was pretty anxious all day after visiting this place, and she had a lot of fun after her previous grooming appointment.I just feel bad that I didn't immediately turn around and take my pup somewhere safer when the yelling started. For me, the yelling and accusations were the biggest problem. I appreciate the team member with a kind attitude, but there was just too much in the negative column for me.

Sierra was awesome and did a great job with Honey. I was impressed. My dog had gotten so matted and she did a great job and did not cut my dog like all the horror stories I'd heard of. She also help me put Honey's sweater on afterwards. The cashier made my experience even better Thank you!

Ashley C has done an awful job in providing customer service. She was absolutely rude to my daughter and i when we dropped our dogs off; yet we still went back 2 weeks ago and treated just about the same way. There was no curbside services- we had to stand outside and wait for someone to finally answer the phone so they can open the door; the groomers seemed overwhelmed and rude. You should learn a little from the services PetSmart is providing and how they treat their clienteleWe do to get charity services- We PAY for our services therefore we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I have tried several grooming businesses because my little bundle of joy can be a challenge but I felt immediately at ease when I met Devin and how he took to my dog. The cut was the best we have had (he didn't look like an alien but was cute) and my dog didn't seem as traumatized as other times. Fees were fair and service was great. Highly recommend this location and Devin!

groomers very nice and kind to the animals. Even though the price has increased drastically since I last had an animal ( not happy with that) I guess everybody has to make a living. They also did a great job with the groom, and my nervous little dog seemed to be happy when I picked her up.

The groomers were extremely caring and thoughtful with my dog when in doubt they called and confirmed with me if I was ok with a hair cut decision after the first idea wasn't going to turn out great instead of just going with whatever. Great job by the groomers; best groomering experience so far!

There was only one person attending to all the dogs, so It take the service too long. However, the worker did a good job. I hope next time you have more people working there.

So I went in to go get a Hair cut and a bath for my dog at 8 AM they don’t open until nine which is not such a problem but when I got there the girl that was working there was new so she was having a little bit of a hard time getting set up which was fine because I understand how it is sometimes I feel like they should of call me to explain that they wouldn’t be able to cut my dogs hair because it was too short apparently which is wired because this isn’t the first time I come in with my dog to get service which by the way the service the first time was great and honestly that would of save me time and money like I said they should of called instead of still charge me for a bath and it seem like that wasn’t even done since he smells like wet dog mix with some type of perfume overall it wasn’t the best experience and I obviously could have taken him a bath at home
