Cool creatures but really busy and loud. Too many kids screaming for noise sensitive people. Even the quiet zones were stuffed with screaming children. It also echos off the walls making noise even louder. Most spaces are compact making it even worse. It made me upset seeing so many species confined like the Whale Shark. They should be living free and in the wild. I needed noise canceling earbuds to even walk around this place. Please don't take your noise sensitive kids here or crowd fearing children. It is a very triggering place.

i love coming here! the owner is friendly and knowledgable about what he does. he can answer any of my questions and explain them in a way that even a beginner can understand. he owns a vast variety of fish, both freshwater and saltwater. i also appreciate how well he takes care of them. even the bettas are kept in tanks rather than little cups, as seen in well-known companies. 10/10!!!

My kids loved this place. We spent 4 hours on a weekday and it was worth it. It’s clean and has been maintained well.There were many sea animals, loved seeing them all and reading and learning about them all. My kids learned new names and they were so excited about it.The cafeteria was good but crazy expensive. Take food with you if you want good food and don’t want to waste too much money. It was 5$ for a small bag of chips which is probably $1 outside.

The experience at the Atlanta aquarium was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the dolphin show was so good. The sea lion show was closed for the day but overall experience was amazing. Would highly recommend for family with kids and tourists.

The best aquarium store I've been to in GA! The tanks are super clean and the workers are helpful. Wide variety of fresh and salt water fish. I recommend getting your next tank mate from this place!!

At the Atlanta Aquarium you can purchase fish as well as fish supplies such as plants, food, etc. This place does NOT have exhibits such as seals, dolphins, penguins, and manta rays. These things are at the GEORGIA AQUARIUM which is located in the actual CITY of Atlanta on Baker St NW!If you are looking for supplies for your pet fish and are looking to speak with someone who has knowledge of the fish they are selling, Atlanta Aquarium is the place to go! Please be diligent, aware, and mindful to not confuse Atlanta Aquarium with the Georgia Aquarium. These names are not interchangeable.

I have been to this place several times to get fish for my aquarium. The owners are so nice and very knowledgeable about aquatics. All of the fish I've purchased from them are healthy and they have a huge selection of fresh and saltwater critters. They also have a lot of aquatic plants and corals available. If you are new to aquatics or a pro, this place is an excellent spot for anything you need for aquariums.

Been a customer for quite a few years now. The owners, Rit and Vanna, are both friendly and knowledgeable. They patiently listen and work to help you find what you're looking for. They have the best selection of both fresh and salt water fish and supplies. Would highly recommend them!

No doubt the best aquarium in the United States. Multiple observation windows and areas for all of the animals. Highly recommended going to at least one of the shows/demonstrations - the sea lions and their handlers were impressive. Temperature inside the building was hot, so dress appropriately. Plan to take some time to thoroughly enjoy everything it has to offer.

One of the biggest and coolest aquariums I’ve ever been to! While it might be a little pricey it’s definitely worth it! There are so many exhibits and different things you can do while you are there! There are multiple shows available that provide a good way to sit and relax for a little bit. I would definitely come back but would recommend arriving early to beat the crowds. The aquarium also has multiple interactive exhibits where you can touch the animal’s with the aid of an employee. I would suggest planning to spend about three hours there simply due to the size and amount of things to see!

What a brilliant place! My first experience of such a massive scale aquarium!! I went to each and every piece that was at offer. Lazy walked all around - I was alone so that helped!! You can easily spend 3–4 hours at this place, so plan accordingly. This is not a place for hurry. It is best experienced with leisure. There are places where you can sit and soak in - please utilise all of them! Dolphin show is the highlight. So reserve your seat and be at the venue. The first 10 rows do offer excitement - you will get drenched. So watch out 😍

This aquarium has to be one of the nicest in the country. I have been to aquariums and zoos all over the country and when I tell you this one stands out above most, I mean it.Great activities and sights to see for all ages.Also, unlike other aquariums, this aquarium you go keep going back to and have just as much fun as the first time.Great place.

Amazing fish store. The owner was busy but stopped what he was doing to show me his red root floaters (RRF). His store was the only one I could locate with RRF and watter lettuce. Looked in his goldfish tank, and I was so tempted to buy a Black Moor because they all looked so nice and healthy. I was so surprised to find out I had been walking past this amazing store for nearly a year without seeing it.

Me and my wife visited this place while away for work. We are from Dallas and we were amazed at how beautiful this location was compared to the Dallas Aquarium. Will definitely plan another trip here.

Love love this aquarium! We spent 4+ hours thereI love how it’s sectioned off by animal categories. Even when busy I felt there was plenty of room to move about.Workers are all very nice and informative!

This store is the best fish store in Georgia by far, it is ran by a kind couple that are full of knowledge about freshwater and saltwater, they have so many aquatic plants and corals its hard to keep track of them all, they have great prices on stones and driftwood as well as other aquarium products. i managed to snag me some rotala macranda, a plant that i was looking for forever and i got a good bundle for the price and the plant itself is super healthy with no decaying leaves.

Although this place is a bit congested, they literally have an wide variety of marine life. If you are into fish tanks, this is the place to be! Great selection of corals, salt water fish and fresh water fish.

Would recommend this place to anyone interested in aquatic creatures. Sea lion and dolphin shows are really good and so is the 5D show on octopus. Educationally enriching experience and for anyone planning on visiting this place it would take close to 4 hours or so to visit all the sections including shows. Advisable to reserve seats for sea lion, dolphin and 4D shows as you get priority seating.

This is an incredible place to find some gorgeous fish. They have a very impressive assortment of both fresh and saltwater fish. Its a great store that has amazing quality products and great customer service as well. The fish are very well taken care of, and you can’t beat the price of their fancy goldfish with the size and quality that Atlanta Aquarium provides. I definitely recommend this place to any one in search of a new fishy friend!

Very cool place lots of stuff to look at. They have alot of unique animals here! If you have time hit the dolphin 🐬 show! Definitely worth it. Just don't sit in the first few rows or you will get wet from the splashing.

This place has a grossly misleading name. It’s an aquatics place, as in they sell aquarium supplies and fish. This is NOT THE GEORGIA AQUARIUM IN ATLANTA. This place IS NOT an aquarium, wrongly advertises itself as such, and how the owners had the audacity to go in on this name makes zero sense to me as someone who formerly worked in the aquarium industry other than they’re trying to play into google searches. This shouldn’t be allowed at all. It’s unethical and a waste of time for lots of folks. It’s a shameful business practice.

Always a huge fan of aquarium. It took 1.5-2h to finish touring the whole place. Sitting there watching the fish swim is quite a relaxing experience. Highly recommend.

Atlanta Aquarium is the largest aquarium in USA, said to have thousands of marine animals. It’s one of the highlights in Georgia that one should not miss, suitable for the young and old. It’s advisable to book your tickets online to enjoy discounted fee. You can literally spend more than 3 hours here. There are so many species of marine life and I’m in awe with the beluga whales. I had a great time.
