Don’t bring your animals here to boarded! Truly disappointed and disgusted with the care my dog Athena received while boarding for a week. We have been coming here for years, all the way back when Dixie was off Highway 5 across from Publix. She was amazing with our dogs back then I would receive pictures of our dogs playing outside/ daily updates. Whoever runs this place now is doing a terrible job. I received no updates the first three days. Called muiltple times asking for photos! Sometimes they didn’t even answer. On two occasions spoke to Jannie and Jessica and both took my number and said she will send pictures and still nothing. Called again complaining I still received nothing and it’s been hours. Then this is the picture they sent me. The audacity. My baby’s paws covered in urine and feces! I was livid. My dog is completely house broken and if she is covered in urine and feces she is not being walked three times a day.It was like here’s your picture now shut up. No way I called immediately this time speaking/complaining to a Demetrius (he was a gem) he apologized that someone would send me pictures of her like that, and for the lack in communication. I could hear his frustration and tell he was overwhelmed and overworked. He assured me he would bath her right away and not charge me for the bath. (He did send pictures of her clean as he said he would) this meant a lot to me.I could not rest and felt awful for leaving her there. The next day I didn’t receive any pictures again, called and got no answer multiple times. The day after that I had my sister pop up and demand to see my dog in her kennel. The kennel was clean but my dog was still filthy if not worst and her bowls were empty.( Picture’s my sister snapped are included)I reached out to Demetrius again as I had his number from the pictures he sent me of her bath and it seems like he was the only responsive one who actually cared about my dog, and he gave her water and a bath.Spoke to a Jannie, Jessica, an Anna, someone with a name with a Sanq or Sinq and Demetrius, my dog’s entire stay. Demetrius, was the only one that truly cared and was responsive, so this review does not go towards him but the others shame on you. Also it was the grace of God I didn’t see the person with the tattoos holding my dog looking filthy because trust me I’ve got words for you.At this point I’m convinced they don’t send the pictures because the dogs are filthy in the kennel and don’t get a bath until right before you come and pick up. I paid 245.00 for my dog to be neglected and mistreated. She will never return. All the pics included.Y’all have officially lost our business indefinitely!

Great place to board your pets if you have to go out of town! We've boarded our 2 dogs, Bogey and Shadow, here twice now. Friday to Monday both times, about a year apart.Both times, they asked if I wanted them kenneled together, if I wanted them bathed, and how much food I wanted them to be fed each day. My dogs usually stay home with a sitter because they are big babies, but those 2 times I couldn't get a sitter.Everyone is always all smiles and very friendly. My babies whine a lot since we're not there, but they've never complained. Their prices are better than all the other boarders in the area. My pets are always clean and excited to go home. I will continue using them in the future and recommend them to my friends.

This place is wonderful! I was so worried to take my Yorkie Coco because we’ve had bad experiences at other grooming places but this one was awesome, they were quick, gave him exactly the cut I asked for, and it was SO REASONABLY PRICED !!! I was expecting to pay double the amount I paid. Very pleased, I have a very long commute but I will do it to bring coco back here everytime. Thank you !!!

I usually take my dog to Petsmart but i felt like they weren’t doing that good of a job so i tried a new place. This place is AMAZING!! My dog looks so good they didn’t have to shave him and he got to keep his “teddy bear” face. Highly recommend!! Will be back!!

They ruined my dog! He was a tiny bit matted since he’s a poodle mix but I brushed them out before so I promise that they could’ve been brushed out, and again the mats were really only on his chest. The shaved him down to nothing he’s so sad 😞.Not to mention that they didn’t even shave his right they left his ears uneven and left random long hairs on his legs and ears.I added the before and after pictures so you guys can see and judge for yourselves. I want to reiterate that these were small mats that could be brushed our or cut off and the rest of the fur was fine!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!Yesterday, Saturday, 3/16/24 we took our white Norwegian Forest cat in for the grooming package. When my cat came home we first noticed the very poor grooming. Then we noticed he had an orange like stain color on his two front legs and to my HORROR he was missing two claws and a half of a one!! Absolutely NO ONE at this place told my daughter anything had happened when she picked him up.I called & spoke with the owner Ms. Popham. She is the one who performed the service. The excuses were never-ending. I had to stop her. Once I mentioned my cat could be in pain and I would be monitoring him and if he needs a vet visit because of an infection or pain I will be letting her know. ALL professionalism if Ms.Popham had any went out the window.My cat went in for a needed haircut, nails trimmed & a bath, but came home stained, bloodied & more than likely in pain.If I could give this place zero starsI would.

Do not bring your pet here if you love them. This place has truly gone down hill since Dixie hasn’t been there. It’s truly sad because she had built this business and the ones that own/ whoever is in charge is running it to the ground. My fur babies will never come back!

My husband and I absolutely love Pet Set - they have taken care of our sweet baby, Luna, since she was just a small puppy. They treat her like their own, and they are always excited to see her walk through the door!We really appreciate this because it gives us confidence that we can leave our dog in safe hands. Prices are the most competitive I've seen in the area, and they include a bath when you board.When we got married, Luna didn't go to daycare for almost 2 weeks. They called to check and make sure she was doing okay since they hadn't seen her in awhile. It meant a lot to us that they had noticed she hadn't been coming and thought to check on her. We really love Pet Set - thanks for all you've done for us and for Luna!

Time in 12:30p / Time out 5:19p5 pound Shih TzuThe ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER…….1st off we asked to speak with the assigned groomer before leaving our baby. The front desk assistant said I’ll write down all of our concerns on a ticket. We clearly stated we know she has some matting, but please DO NOT CUT OFF HER TOP PONYTAIL OR HER FLUFFY TAIL. She claimed she wrote it all down and give to the groomer. The absolute opposite she butchered her hair, again her top ponytail was not matted. I called back to speak to the manager very rude and had 0 Customer Service Skills, stated her mother in law was the groomer. What difference did that mean to me, the mother in law did not follow instructions. Why not pick up the phone and explain, before going scissor or clipper CRAZY on our baby. Since the day we got her she has always had a top ponytail and now thanks to the mother in law at Petset she doesn’t. NEVER AGAIN, the so call manager very argumentative and in her feelings. I’m simply stating FACTS… She doesn’t even look like the same baby. This puts tears in my eyesPart 2: As you can see the so called owner who we never met or spoke with when dropping our baby off replied to my post. The owner is a LIAR, yes our baby had some hair matting; legs, under stomach, under neck. Not in the top of her head, she wears a ponytail everyday. She came in with ponytail a cute hair bow. Pet Set is run by two of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life.They’ve helped so many people but their name gets drug through the dirt as if they’re horrible. They both have done a countless amount for not only myself , but so many others as well.The pettiness I’m seeing in these comments are from EX employees who are mad , literally because of their own bad decisions , and decided to take it out with LIES and SLANDER . The other rude comments are dramatic and unnecessary .. mostly petty. Pet Set loves all of those babies as if they were their own.

Prince had his 1st visit here, he's a Lab mix, & received a bath, nail trim & his ears were cleaned. Awesome job, he looked so good. They listened & used the Oatmeal bath so he didn't get itchy..so we will be back!!🤗🤗

I LOVE the wonderful people at pet set! We had an emergency where I needed to drop my puppy Truffle off the next day for 8 days and they were so great! She was nervous and scared and the lovely people working there communicated with me that she had been crying/ howling when she was by herself. They sat with her and loved on her so she felt comfortable. Which is amazing and the kind of people I trust with my Truffle. She also looks great when she gets groomed there.

I do not recommend this place , they don’t tell you something is wrong with your animal when you pick them up. The groomer(s) is not consistent. And the OWNER of the place is so Rude! Please do not go there.

Ive been bringing my dog couple times in the past and i didnt have any problem, but this time I'm very disappointed the way they cut my dog's hair..... she is a pom and ended up looking like a rat..... there's not teddy bear face anywhere, her ears are uneven, I said don't cut it too short.... it was a complete disaster 😪........ and was so stupid on leaving $10 tip without seeing how horrible my dog ended up.... I feel so sorry for her that she looks horrible and me waisted my money for that....... they didn't cut her nails and when I told them about it they just did it at the last minute in a rush....... UPDATE: we got exactly what we asked for today and our pups look so cute! Always happy with Pet Set Stay & Play! ❤️1 year ago: Wonderful staff and services! My doodles were fit into the schedule last minute and the staff stayed late to accommodate. We left with the best cuts my pups have ever had, and the staff was very good with both the pups and my zany self. I will definitely recommend Pet Set Grooming!

This was our first time boarding our animals for vacation. They made the process very simple. They have an early drop-off and late pick-up. My pets looked happy and healthy when we picked them up. It even cost a little less than we originally thought. We will definitely use them again!

Nikita I am the kennel tech that takes care of everyone's babies. The babies are first and foremost the most important here and they also get fed as many times as the parents ask me to do so. This is a great place to work and we care about our babies and customers. Sorry you didn't work out here but if you would have came in and did your job there wouldn't be any issues. This grooming and boarding business is the worst. The owner Jannie is so unprofessional and disrespectful! Instead of apologizing to customers and fixing the problem she'd just get smart with them and never fix the problem. Dogs are left in in cages all day never receiving their baths and barely they're cuts. So out of all the money she's making she barely does the work. She's rarely there and yells at the employees about how this is her passion but it never reflects. She doesn't train her groomers or workers at all honestly. So if you're looking for a job because you love spending time with dogs or grooming DON't WORK HERE! She brings her drama to work almost everyday and treats her employees like they're beneath her or like she doesn't care about them. If you're boarding your dog here trust me they never eat or get water to drink! They're all back there in the most filthiest cages that barely get cleaned, they sit in their own poop and pee until someone decides they want to clean it! If they forget to bathe your dog they'll just spray dog perfume on them. I worked here thinking I would spend time playing and learning all these different personalities of the fur babies but honestly all I experienced was the captivity and the dirtiness that the dogs endured. There were situations where they would lie and say that they feed your dog but really to cover it up they'd just give it to another dog or throw their food/treats away. Even in daycare most dogs are left in cages and never interact with the others but guess what?! They lie about that too! This has literally been the worst dog establishment I've ever seen and the worst work place energy I've ever experienced. Although there were great workers there such as Heather, Dee, Nicole, Sikora, and Demetrius and Nikita and the old receptionist . But other than that...not so great.if I could rate zero stars I would!Edit- firstly this is not Nikita...so you're wrong and I could care less if you reported or not. I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE! Also incorrect... I'm not her girlfriend either, seems like you can't keep up with all your employees huh? That's okay you got one more try

Prices are different on 2 different places on the website. I have 3 small dogs that we boarded for the weekend and wanted our littles to be in the same kennel. We were charged an additional $13 per day for a "large dog" so they could be together, I wasn't made aware of this when we dropped them off.The place smells horrible.This was our first experience boarding our animals and it wasn't a good one.

I’ve been coming here for a few years. I had 2 dogs initially, but one has passed. The grooming and service 2-3 years ago was terrific. However, I’ve noticed the last 2 visits with my pup were less than satisfactory. Both times, my husband picked her up, and when I saw her, I thought we paid for a full grooming? She was bathed but her grooming looked like it was a last minute job. I’m very understanding and realize it’s not going to be perfect, but we always tip very well and I do expect my dog to have a decent hair cut. I was going to schedule a groom for next week, but read the low reviews. I understand people can sometimes exaggerate or complain, but I was more concerned with the owners responses to these people. They were very negative and honestly, inappropriate. Business owners should always strive to address issues and find a way to fix them. Will not be bringing my baby back. She deserves better.

1 Star! When moving into the area and getting a fur baby, we looked for a place that would become our preferred grooming place. Having previously been a pet owner I always preferred independent groomers instead of going to a big box location. Working in customer service I'm very big on customer service, consistency, as well as developing a relationship for not only myself but our fur baby as well. Staffing has been all over the place. Drop off times are a disaster, booking system is not in use which requires having to explain what procedures are in place, pet pick up are very time consuming and risky. We've previously been asked for a photo of our dog for pickup due to the staff member not knowing which dog he was. Witnessed the wrong pet being brought out to the wrong owner which could have been bad if someone wasn't honest. The quality of work has truly gone down as well. Our fur baby looked better before his grooming appointment than he we presented at his pickup. Our pet has been there for 3 years and what we fell in love with is no longer here. I've reached out during various situations to provide direct feedback, but it's becoming too much of a nightmare and not a pleasant experience. I just think that it's time to find a new place.

I took my long haired cat (Harper) to get groomed. She seems to keep gathering feces on her back side and won't let you clean it. So she smelled awful and she needed her nails clipped. They did an excellent job. She smelled great and they even gave her a red bow tie collar.! I thought that was a nice touch! Love the lion shave!!

I really want to give more stars but I'm gonna have to be honest..... The building needs better ventilation (it always smells in there), as far as the staff, they are courteous. Their initial grooming service needs improvement. I just about always have to have them redo or correct something that wasn't done. I feel like they're not thorough (even after taking notes on what to do and what not to do). It all just becomes annoying!! I want to recommend them but I'm not confident that they will get it right the first time. In a nutshell, this place is a hit or miss.

I have used Pet Set since Dixie was in a smallShop on Highway 5, she was always wonderful to my dogs and they loved her. I have continued to use them since it’s been taken over by her children/grandchildren even though it’s not as organized as when Dixie ran it. I always get the works for my dogs - the last time I picked them up they were not groomed just bathed and no excuse for it - didn’t even care when I said they were supposed to be groomed as well. Rudeness was what I received - asked for manager to call - nothing - guess they think they’ve brown enough to not need 10 year customers anymore - I won’t be back

Where do I start ...#1 The owner is the most unprofessional person I've ever worked for I'm sure most former employees and customers have dealt with that.#2 if your are having the best conversations with them when picking /dropping off your dog this especially means your dog is going through the worst behind the doors they say and do whatever they gotta do to get your moneyEx. Dump the food out because they forgot to feed your dog for days and keep the dog in a cage all day sitting in it's own pee and poop more often than not (if you were ever wondering why your dog smells worse than when it came and is starving when you take it home.)#3 they forget to bathe the dog and spray it with perfume .I want to spare the good workers and stop here because honestly there is so much more , I just don't want any more dogs going thru this and people paying good money for miss trestmeant/neglect . Go ahead and look at the other 1 star reviews, iam just confirming what is already well know , except it's from the employee point of view PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW !I don't know what shes ( janie) going through , but she is tiring to work under and too much drama for me she claimed to love what she does just to have terrible energy everyday she comes to work and is gone withing 2 hours of coming in . Her responses don't even make sense she lives in a different reality than most of us. Only 2 out of 8 of the people in your cover picture for the cover picture even work there anymore. Anybody could work here but only put up with the mess for so long , atlest 50 new random employees every year is insane.Since janie keeps saying I'm lieing check the other reviews she says the same about the other people trying to get the truth out.You can't get everything deleted by Google just to keep a 4 star rating , you are all about money.
