This Lowe’s is awful, if you’re looking for a GOOD home improvement store, spend your money elsewhere. They resell broken and damaged returned items, and clearly don’t inspect items for damages before putting them back on the shelves. Very lazy employees.

Although the Waycross location is closest to the house and the staff are fantastic, the selection inventory leaves a lot to be desired. More than once. I've had to leave Waycross and drive to Douglas to this location to get what I needed.The staff here are incredible. They really are. He couldn't ask for more helpful folks.Do I stop going to my local Lowe's and start coming here straight away?🤔 I'm honestly starting to seriously consider it even with the price of fuel and the fact that I lose 2 hours driving backwards and forwards, I think it will be more efficient.

Do not buy appliances from Lowe's. When you try to buy the appliances you want they make excuses as to why they can't sell you that one. They upsell you on the more expensive ones. They deliver it with parts missing. Then make you file a warranty claim for a 3 dollar dryer leg. They refuse to sell you a display model but won't give you the leg off of the display model to make yours complete.Update- After being referred to Samsung, and being told that Samsung doesn't cover a leg for a dryer, Lowe's Assistant Manager is so incompetent he can't order a leg I found on their website in 2 minutes. Now I'm supposedly waiting on the General Manager to call me.Update- 24 hrs after the General Manager was supposed to contact me I still haven't heard from them.

Lowe's is always a fun place to go! You can pretty much find anything you're looking for in there and their prices are pretty fair. You can't always find help but it is usually easy to find what you need if you just look around

Was totally let down at this location.was set to purchase 3 full sized appliances ( stove,refrigerator and a dishwasher) not a giant purchase.was maybe $2100.00 total.the person in the appliances department wanted NOTHING to do with helping us.he was too busy to be " bothered".so he simply said that they only have 1 of the 3 items.we wouldn't recieve the 3 appliance discount.i said I would take what's on the floor." No,those are floor models only".he could care less that we walked out to go buy them somewhere else.sad day that lowes is that bad anymore. definitely not going back there.

Sent their contractor to measure doors. He does not like people that are of Darker skin Tone(Black People). He presented a Prejudice, Unfriendly and Unprofessional attitude. Didn't answer asked questions, yelling when he directed statements to me. He should probably not contract for Lowe's if he is allergic to Black People.

Do not, again, I say do not trust their computer stock count! There were supposedly 2 of the items ordered online in stock at 10:30 AM and again at 5 PM when we drove over an hour to get to that store. It took them over 30 minutes to finally let us know they did not have any of the items in stock! It was then explained to us that the person that does the online purchasing doesn't work Thursday and Friday, and that's why I was not informed that my item was not available when we got there. Of course, I just assumed it would be there and ready with.6 hours in between ordering and arrival time. That was my error for not calling to confirm always well.The only reason why that store is getting three stars is that the young ladies who were taking care of us were very nice and professional.The moral of the story is to call the store. Make sure somebody does hands-on stock check and put your name on the item to be purchased before you go to pick it up!

If I didn't have to go to this store I wouldn't! What happened to all the good people who when they saw you looking for something asked right away if there's something they can help you with? This new generation see you and look away immediately unless you ask them a question! You can almost hear the ugh under their breath if you do, ask them something. If you can find anyone working in that department! I personally have found items in the wrong place, Items mixed in the wrong bins, and I guess Lowe's has made such drastic cutbacks (like no more delivering lumber or other large orders) that they no longer provide a marker to write on the bag of washers or bolts what you have. Nope! Instead, we have to wait while the big ole blue binder comes out, so the 17 year old cashier who acts as if she's never seen one before has to literally match the item with the picture! Physically lay it on the page but didn't know the difference between galvanized, stainless steel or just a plain old fender washer. With the exception, one lady from my generation who knew exactly where the under the counter lights were and exactly what I was talking about, and the fact your happiest employees are in the mezzanine giving out bugs of chips and bottled water doesn't soften the frustrations your customers feel. This Lowe's is extremely lucky. there's not a Home Depot store here "yet" because they would or will see a huge drop in sales.

The employees at the Douglas location have no clue what they are doing. I wanted to order a freezer that they had IN STOCK at the store. I needed one that was available for immediate pickup. I called and asked if they had a specific freezer in stock & they told me YES. I went online and paid for this freezer since they said they had it in stock. The next day when I called to pick up the freezer, a different guy told me that they would not have it for another week, which defeated the whole purpose of ordering one that they had in stock (like I was told). I had to call three times to get anyone to answer the phone. They pick up the phone & immediately place it on hold without saying anything. I was put on hold by this same associate (he said he'd be right back) and after 20 minutes on hold I hung up.I understand that people get busy and mistakes are made... We are human. But it's literally EVERY TIME I shop at this location. If it's not one thing, it's another. They either need to hire more staff or train the ones they have better.

A week ago I purchased a GE Washer Dryer Set from Lowe’s in Douglas. The gentleman ringing up my purchase was new but working hard and courteous. He did not give me a receipt. I Paid for delivery & installation. Since they were delivering I was ok with getting my receipt at delivery. . Upon delivery, still no receipt, they had brought the wrong dryer cord & the gentleman said I would need to return cord to store, pick up new cord and install dryer myself. No problem. After they left, I noticed Washer & Dryer did not match. Went to store next day to exchange cord, had them print receipt & showed them it was not the matching set I picked out. No offer to do anything to help. So after a busy two days at work I called customer service manager at store and was told they could not help me because it had now been more than 48 hours. My experience for what it’s worth.

Worst place to buy ANYTHING, customer services is Zero. Waiting over 30 minutes for help and 15 employees just walking around in their phone. Have to ask 5 times for help nobody show up, i guess my $4k is not need it i just buy a lawn mower somewhere else

This place has horrible customer service. A manager was supposed to call back and never did. When i placed my order the cashiers were just playing around. They didn’t apply my coupon then another cashier took care of it. The guy who placed the order looked like he was high. Didn’t really know what he was doing. I’ll drive an hour away to home depot instead of dealing with such foolishness. If you can save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else

We bought a Christmas tree from here. The outside cashier called for someone to help with the tree but no one showed up. I had to personally go in the store and grab management to get help with wrapping and clipping the tree. Management sent someone by the way. I felt like management would do it themselves but oddly enough just told me to go back to the area and they would have someone there soon. It wasn’t busy at all.

The employees were fantastic! Two guys helped me by comparing 2 trees and then took my tree over to be wrapped while I was shopping. I went inside store gathered what I needed then went back outside to ask one of the guys a question about a specific plant I was wanting. Unfortunately he said they hadn't received any of those plants this year. Truly disappointing about not finding the plant.I found poinsettias for $1.00 and other inside home plants for $5.00!The cashier was truly great also.This was the best experience I have ever had at a Lowe's store.

We try our best not to go to this location. The staff is beyond rude, almost all of them. They act like you are the biggest inconvenience to their day every time I go here. If they had better staff It would be far more convenient for me to get more things here, but until that happens I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere.
