There call center is garbage. It took 14 calls across 4 days to get my service upgraded. Their protocols handicap their customer service representatives and creat confusion and errors for their employees. Thankfully, if they finally make an appointment the technicians have a wealth of knowledge and can correct the companies mistakes.My advise: Try and different provider.

Our local tech Grant is amazing!He had an extremely challenging task having to repair the lines that the town had cut putting in our neighbors water pipe.He hand dug the road to discover the multiple areas of line that had been severed and was able to restore service.He is not only hard working but very polite and respectful to us.He represents the company making it a joy to have there services.

I really wish there was another option for internet for me, if there was I would gladly change providers. Some of the representatives in the phone center are almost impossible to understand and no two representatives will give you the same information or answer the same question with same answer. It’s just maddening to deal with them.My journey with Windstream/Kinetic1. I’m building a house and called about pre wiring the house for fiber optic. I was told to call back when the house was framed up.2. Called back and was told then to call back when Sheetrock was up.3. Called back and was told to call back again when I moved in.4. Called back and got service. Was told when the line would be buried.5. Crew came a day early to bury cable (no big deal).6. Service went out two days later and I had to call for service.7. I was given an appointment time of 10-12 for repairs. Told I had to be there. That I must answer all text promptly or service call would be canceled.8. At 1 pm I called and asked for an ETA on technician. I was then told then would be any time between 8 and 6.9. At 3:40 I got a text saying they were rescheduling me to the following week.10. I called to complain. I had taken a day off for this and now they were rescheduling me without any input from me. Now all of a sudden they could come first thing the next morningWindstream likes to send emails and texts telling customers what to do, but they don’t seem to want to listen to customers.

The technicians was very friendly and what ever you asked them they gave a answer that you could understand. And let you know just what happened to your service. And what they were doing to straight it out for you to get it back going like it should be and I thank them for there service and think they spent doing it.

I received the "free" fiber upgrade today at my home. This is by far the worst thing I have EVER had installed in my home. If the technician was competent, he would have known that before he left. Now I'm just getting home at almost midnight and I have no Internet at all, not even using a wifi range extender.Please explain to me how I go from no problem with my internet to immediate problems due to a free upgrade and obviously a technician that was oblivious to the fact that there was a problemBefore they show up, no problems, after they show up, nothing but problems.I was told that they wanted everyone off of the old copper line because this was better , that's a big laugh..... don't do it. Just find yourself a new internet provider.Find a different service besides Windstream to use, I damn sure will be doing that very thing tomorrow morning.

Technical support said that I would get an upgrade for better speed when the tech came to fix the Internet but he didn't install it and this is the 2nd time I was told I was eligible. All he did was replace a broken wire

Technicians were polite, knowledgeable, and on time. Which is so hard to get these days. It was refreshing so far I have the best signal than any other Internet provider I have tried. I’ve had Mediacom T-Mobile. Neither got the job done.

The install took about 5 hours I think they had to install new stuff outside but other than that the tech was courteous. Didn’t get in our way and just did his job it took awhile but it is honestly sooo much faster then what I had that the wait was worth it.

I never even saw my technician. I was told I would be given a time frame. I never was. I got a text message at 238 that he was on the way and a call at 2:40 that he was there, I obviously had no idea when he was coming and Just so happens, I was not available in the 2 minute time frame. I was given. This was obviously not a good experience. And I don't even know if the problem was solved.

Our internet service is very slow so Christopher from Kinetic came to the house. We don’t have fiber service available yet but he was informative and friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Destiny was eager, willing to help and supportive. She was not from this area. First tech to show up after 1 1/2 weeks without service. Windstream should hire more females techs like her. She cares about Windstream and her customers. Thanks again Destiny!

I called in today due to slow internet and the first person I was speaking with had me on hold for like 5 minutes and then disconnected the call. My husband called back and this man was so rude, I wish I took his name down, he kept asking the same question over and over even when we explained that there was no way that was the issue. After we asked to speak with someone else he went silent for a good minute and after saying “hello?” to make sure he was still there, He had a terrible attitude and was snapping at us refusing to get us over to anyone else so I hung up. After calling in for a THIRD time I spoke with Aaron, he was very sweet and understanding. He tried his best to fix the issue and even sent a message to his supervisor to give me a call back. Aaron gets a 10/10 but the other guy gets a 0/10. If I can change providers I would. I am tired of having issues with Windstream and they never fully fix any issue.

Technician (Grant) was professional, courteous & answered all my questions promptly & so that I could understand. He assured me also that having 4 or 5 people using internet all @ same time shouldn't be a problem at all, but IF there were ANY problems, call & they'd correct it!
