First time visiting I was very impressed with the the workers are so super sweet nice I was at the register and asked the lady about canned chicken she went all the way to the very back of the store and got it for me and brought it back up there not used to that nice service stores like this is the ones I speak very highly of and will continue going to for shopping

It's a lot easier to get everything I need from groceries to my meds and they have cashier's. I don't like having to ring up my purchases that's why I don't shop at Walmart. Plus if I need help with something Harvey's has employees that assist me with a friendly manner.

Very friendly and helpful employee (young guy, didn't catch name) - went out of way to help me find something. Large selection of cakes (what granddaughter and I went for) - flavors and sizes. Clean interior and nice carts. Excellent place to shop.

Wonderful deals! A lot of cheap prices and coupon deals. Very friendly staff. Clean and organized. Never really a long wait. They offer to help you with getting your groceries out to your car. A place I can shop at every time for my grocery needs.

I rarely stop into this particular Harvey's, but it was well stocked and maintained much like the Harvey's across town. Checkout was very quick. Shopping was quick and easy.

They use to answer the phone Thank you for calling Harvey's the friendliest store in town...that is a lie..the managers were walking around on their cell phones..I was looking for an item and asked an associate.. Instead of him helping me find what I needed..he said it may be on the end caps..yes that was a little helpful.but why not show me you are interested in my business..

Between the employee making me walk around to the other door in the pouring rain because she's vacuuming the rug and the cashier who points to her ear and mouths quietly that she's on her cell phone when I said excuse me because I thought she was talking to me, don't know that I will ever give them my money again. Customer service SUCKS!

** Please note - I only rated as 1 star because it would not let me rate any lower** I used to like Harvey's as a place to shop... however, the customer service has went downhill drastically. Trying to get someone to help you with finding an item, lifting heavy stuff, or getting groceries out to your car takes an act of congress - and when someone finally does bite the bullet to help, it is usually preceded with a nasty attitude! I see both sides, as a customer and an employee. My husband has worked at Harvey's for the past 5 years! The first 3 years were okay, but as management was "restructured" it has gotten progressively worse for him as an employee. As a place of employment I must say that this place needs a complete overhaul! Management are so concerned with irrelevant stuff that they lose sight of the good employees and protect the employees who are lazy, unprofessional, and unwilling to help. There is a total disregard for employees who have medical conditions; my husband has been "warned" about carrying food in his pocket to eat when his sugar drops too low. Management allow certain staff members to come in late all the time - yet others are "counseled" when they are late due to a transportation issue. Certain employees are allowed to miss work, leave on time for their shift without their stuff being complete, and talk on their phones without ANY management intervention. I have witnessed management yelling at the staff (in fact, more than yelling - being completely obnoxious, cursing, and even aggressive) which is COMPLETELY absurd... This place needs some kind of consultant to come in and train management on how to manage staff and increase morale. Corporate needs to pay more attention to the upper management in place at their locations. HR needs to be more available for staff - instead of allowing time for "management" talks only. As of this week - I am no longer a Harvey's customer. I will go elsewhere for the things that I need. As of this week - my husband will seek other employment options. He will go elsewhere to utilize his skill and abilities. And while I know that just the 2 of us will not make a big difference to Harvey's growth, closure, culture, etc... my hopes are that by voicing this to the public that more people will observe what is going on, acknowledge that they deserve better in regards to customer service and employment; and stop allowing people to treat you, your family, or anyone else for that matter as second best. As a customer, you deserve friendly customer service and assistance. As an employee, you deserve an ethical and fair environment to work in. My rant is over!

I do not shop for groceries here because some things are priced very high, but I do use the pharmacy. Yesterday was the 1st time I used this pharmacy and the experience was no nice that I plan to start using this pharmacy to fill my monthly prescriptions. The pharmacist was extremely nice and I saved $20 by using this pharmacy instead of Wal-Mart.

Updated August 9th, 2022 : I came to the same Harvey's this morning with only one person at a register and no one else in the store other than workers and they would not take a return on some rotten produce that they sold me two days prior. They said I had to come back at 9:00 because their return window isn't open until then. Problem with that is I have to go to work. Very upset doesn't even explain it. When Publix comes to town I guarantee you they will not turn me away or anyone away with an issue that is similar. Watch out Harvey's your days are numbered once Publix comes to town if customer service continues on this course. I like their buy one get one free specials also. The problem with Harvey's is that if it isn't on sale it is usually more expensive than others like Walmart, but produce and meat is better and like their bakery too.

The employees and the customers have made my transition to Douglas positive! I have never had personal opinion about a grocery and pharmacy store, they are the best! I'm 57 yrs old and have eaten alot of groceries! They make shopping there a pleasure!!!?

Luv it always nice and when it comes to customer service and making sure you feel like family there your home town grocery store. Some things might be alil pricey but I would rather spend it there rather than Walmart because its always more like a chore when shopping with them!

Harvey's well can't say enough good about this place ,for as long as I can remember and I am 55 years old Harvey's grocerie store has been here serving our community . I do remember going here my whole life even when I moved to Tifton for 15 years I was so glad they had a Harvey's there .

I tell you what, I went down here to get some water and I was driving back to my barber and I got lost. Was balls deep in Broxton before I turned around. Anyway, we went to McDonald's earlier and got a free meal. They forgot to charge us. Douglas is my happy place.
