Vacationed beginning of March and the park was very quiet. Location is close to tons of outdoor adventures across several states.Very clean restrooms and indoor pool/hot tub was wonderful to use after a day of hiking.RV Sites are well maintained.

The facility is well maintained with clean showers and bathrooms. We were greeted upon arrival and felt appreciated for staying at River Vista Mountain Resort. The resort is in the north GA mountains, with easy driving distance into North Carolina, Tennessee and northern Georgia to site see. We will certainly try to stay here again in the future when we come to this area.

The only problem I have with resort is they should have never put us in the spot they did knowing the size of our fifth wheel. Took one hour to park with the help of 4 permanent residents and damage to truck. Just not enough room. Told size when booked months prior. Thankfully resident allowed us to park in spot across street. Office not available for help. Otherwise a great park and great location

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The sites are about as tight as can be. The restrooms are nice and clean. This is validly a resort because it has all of the amenities and in reasonable quality but it is by no means a high end resort. All of the RVs and park models are in good shape and presentable. There are practically no barking dogs or noisy campers. I don't know how they do it but they keep the place pretty peaceful. That doesn't mean it is quite, there are two roads one used to access a quarry which looms over the camp ground and dump trucks and jake brakes are not uncommon. I have always heard gunfire around the resort also, sometimes from several directions. They accept packages, you can wash your RV on week days and although there are no trails available from the park it isn't a very long drive to state parks and forest service trails.

Great RV park. We stayed for about 4 nights over Thanksgiving. It's just down the road from Julip which is a super nice restaurant/resort/shop... Fine dining...River Vista was clean, well maintained, and quite attractive. The location is quiet.My only complaint is that the office is only open from mid morning to mid afternoon. We had some things that needed attention and could not do any better than leave a message and hope someone responded.

Not the same River Vista that I knew. Now under new management which means no one is in the office...ever! The office is closed and you have to call the off site management office if you have any questions or issues. My issue was they are in the process of constructing a building on the site I reserved but no one told me. So I get there and I can't put my awning out, hell I can barely get out our motorhome door, because the building is so close. There is NO area for our 3 dogs to sit out. No picnic table. I would not have chosen this site if I had known this. This construction was NOT mentioned on the River Vista website when i made the reservation months earlier. They should have informed me of the construction when they called me to collect the balance owed! But not a word of it! So we learned to live with it cause gee there's no one in the office to talk to. Then discovered their free cable on my site doesn't work. There is zero OTA reception so you gotta have cable to get any TV. Called the off site management company and gosh golly what to do. They only have 1 on site "maintenance person" and he can check it when he has time. Sure nuff...the cable outlet was defective but...they can't do anything about it. Will have to wait for the cable company to come out. Think that's gonna happen before I leave in a couple of days? Office doesn't really care since they are only "management" and not "owners" of the campground. I'm normally pretty easy-going but I expect to receive what I pay for especially at these prices. Think they will credit me a few bucks? They didn't indicate that was going to happen. Since all the sites are now owned by individuals, there is now an HOA. If you like camping in an HOA neighborhood, you'll like it here. Cause they don't care about you and your satisfaction since you are only "temporary" and not an HOA member. Too bad. I used to enjoy staying here when they cared.

We loved our stay at River Vista. Nestled in between beautiful mountains in almost every direction. It is a very clean, quiet place to escape for a few days in North Georgia. The full time residents were super welcoming and we enjoyed some rest and relaxation!

Didn't stay in a room, we were CAMPING. Wow what a wonderful place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The area itself was full of breathtaking views, we were 12 miles away from Highlands N.C, and close to Cashiers N.C. The fellow campers were very friendly. The grounds themselves were clean. It is places like this that makes MEMORIES .

Edit: I was told by office staff that you no longer have an activity director and activities would no longer be offered. I was also told that the office will be shutting down and another company will be handling reservations once the last 26 sites are sold. Can you please tell me if this is correct?We have camped at River Vista many times over the years. It’s a beautiful campground and in a great location. I was surprised to learn that all of the sites are being sold and that they no longer offer activities. The residents still have activities, but they are not advertised to campers. We have enjoyed the activities in the past and missed them this trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to go that is beautiful and well kept, this is a great place to be. The views are gorgeous!

RV Camping Resort- very clean, friendly, spacious and all necessary hook- ups!! Gorgeous views of the mountains there in Dillard GA. The site was level and clean. Would stay again.Nearby activities: Nearby towns for shopping and site seeing. Two State Parks within driving distance to go visit and spend the day.Safety: Never felt like I had to worry about anything.

Shawn worked really hard to get us into a full hookup RV site for 6 nights and she accomplished it. Had a great relaxing time. Our Golden Retriever Holly loved the staff, especially Shawn. We’ll be back.Safety: Felt very safe.Walkability: Fun walking around the park.

While we did not spend the night here, we had a vehicle in our off-road group lose his brakes coming down the steep twisty road and we managed to safely get it off the road into their parking lot. They were so incredibly kind and accommodating as we attempted to fix it in their parking lot and ultimately had to get it towed. I was blown away by the kindness and compassion that was shown to us by the staff when they were under no obligation to do so. They invited us to hang out in the clubhouse to watch TV and play games while we waited. We took a walk around the campground and it was a very cute campground in a great location. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family! Thank you again!Noteworthy details: Great staff and great location.

River Vista is the most beautiful place to stay. I have never in my whole life experienced a more beautiful and relaxing vacation. The grounds are so well landscaped, and it's right in the middle of the great Appalachian mountains in Dillard, Georgia. They have cabins and, of course, RV lots, but they also have a pool size hot tub with a big screen TV, a sunna, and surround sound stereo system. They also have a large swimming pool outdoors with a park for the kids. Laundry room and streams. I highly recommend making this place a must stop and visit. Thank you, River Vista. We will be back soon.

Beautiful RV park in the stunning north Ga mountains.Ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our site was a back in at site 16, green grass, nice firepit , picnic table, even gravel with concrete patio. Park had several pools, green areas to walk your dogs and not one piece of trash any where, totally immaculate! Will definitely visit again😊

We really enjoyed the RV Park, clean, well organized, fantastic facilities including two pools, one indoor and heated. The shower/bathrooms were roomy and very clean. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful regarding things to do and directions. They are above average staff!! We will probably go there again on our next trip to north GA.Nearby activities: A number of state parks and water falls in the area and within 25 minutes to Franklin and Highlands.

The staff is great. They were really helpful when we had a situation occur. We did get the spot next to the playground, and for 3 hours both nights, we heard the bouncing ball. We enjoyed the pool until the kids kept jumping in right in front of us to splash us. We tried to sit in the spa, and they came in there and jumped back in the pool. No parents tried to correct them. Too bad.
