We drove up to Dillard to stay at Julep Farms for Valentine’s. We stayed in The Derby cottage and it was absolutely adorable! So charming and cozy! We made a reservation at Julep Kitchen for Valentine’s dinner and it was exceptional! I had the sea bass and it was the best I’ve ever had! Our waitress, Jennifer, was friendly and provided great service. Everything about our stay was perfect!👍🏻

Julep Farm restaurant in Dillard, GAFrom the moment we stepped the farm, we were captivated by its charm. The rustic yet modern esthetics created a warm inviting atmosphere. Our server Ross, was super attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. His recommendations were spot on, and we were blown away by the deliciousness of every dish. Not only did the food exceed our expectations, but it also arrived at our table quickly. The kitchen staff clearly knows how to deliver quality meals without sacrificing speed. We absolutely loved the vibe of Julep Farm. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy a relaxing meal in a picturesque setting.Overall, our experience at Julep Farm was amazing. We can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delectable offerings. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Dillard, this is the place to be.

I ate at Julep Farms for Thanksgiving this past November with my family of 10 including 2 small children. We’ve dined and shopped at Julep before but this was our first time dining for a holidays. The service and food exceeded our expectations. All of the food was spectacular and we all enjoyed our meals and haven’t stopped talking about it since. It was such a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope and pray they offer it again next year. The price per person was certainly worth it given the variety and quality of items on the buffet. Our waitress was so sweet and went out of her way to be kind and accommodate our kids. I believe her name was Jennifer. Thank you to the owners for putting on such a special event!

I am sad to share that our experience was beyond disappointing. Excited to visit the restaurant, my friends and I booked reservations weeks in advance. Upon arrival, food littered the floor, tables were dirty, the serving staff failed to make eye contact or clean our table until we had to ask multiple servers multiple times, and the employees seemed generally unpleasant. Most interesting, when we asked for an additional plate (we all ordered our own entrees), the restaurant charged us $5.50 simply to bring us an extra plate (which we no longer needed once we received it as it took so long to deliver). The food; however, was nevertheless tasty. When we shared our experience with the owner, she appeared disinterested. The setting is beautiful and the gift shop is lovely; however, I would not ever eat in the restaurant.Food & drinks: I am sad to share that our experience was beyond disappointing. Clean, classy, and vibrant atmosphere. Great food, presentation of plates, and quality is top-notch. Prices are a bit high for the community but worth visiting for special events or just an appetizer and a glass of wine on their patio. The gift shop is way overpriced. Search amaoin for any of their items, and you will save a ton of money there! The views are beautiful, the farm animals are sweet, and the grounds are gorgeous. They have rental cottages too, which are gorgeous on the inside and out!

Had lunch per a recommendation from Nancy's Fancies just up the road in Highlands. It was delicious! Beautiful location and facilities with great service. The Smash Burger was as good as any I've had anywhere. Also loved the Loaded Potato Soup. My parents also loved their theirs, I'll be bringing my wife back to try.

The meal was wonderful. Our beet salad and mushroom ravioli in a rich cream sauce topped with cheese shavings was perfect! Our server Ross was great! Love this place. Lots to see, buy, and experience!

Hostess' were very pleasant and accommodating. Waiter was on the rude side, almost as if we were not worth his time, short with answers and did not bring the 1st refill. Beautiful place with some different and interesting food choices. Not worth the price.

Came to visit the animals and grab an iced matcha with my mother in law how was in from Australia. The property is beautiful and the animals are sweet. But the matcha and the service I got were terrible. That was THE worst iced matcha I’ve ever had. And the girl seem annoyed and not very friendly. I would never go back to buy anything but would definitely go back to see the animals

Great food and service. Bren was the best server! She was super sweet and extremely tentative, but not over-bearing as some servers can be. Hope we see her again when we come back!

Enhancing Customer Service at Julep Farms - A Call for ImprovementI recently had the opportunity to visit Julep Farms, and I wanted to share my experience with you all. While the location itself is undeniably beautiful and boasts an outstanding store and landscape, I must address a crucial issue that I encountered: the consistency of customer service.Upon researching the Google reviews for Julep Farms, it becomes evident that there is an ongoing problem with customer service. While some reviews praise the service with 5-star ratings, many others express dissatisfaction. As someone who believes that the quality of service stems from the top, I strongly believe that leaders should step into their roles and prioritize education for their employees. It is crucial to hire individuals who possess the necessary experience and customer service skills for a place like Julep Farms. However, if an employee is struggling or showing signs of inadequate qualifications, it is the responsibility of the leaders to consider repositioning them within the organization. In cases where the employee is unable to handle their current position, it may be necessary to make the difficult decision to move them on.My personal experience at Julep Farms further highlights the consistency issue. As part of a party of 9, our waitress appeared to lack the necessary qualifications for her role. She struggled to spell "screwdriver" for two individuals who ordered the drink and had never even heard of "hot chocolate" for others who requested it. These instances clearly demonstrate her lack of qualification to be a server, regardless of any staffing challenges. However, I must commend the kitchen staff for preparing our meals correctly.Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, our waitress made some remarks that left everyone feeling uneasy about handing over our credit cards. This further emphasizes the need for improved customer service at Julep Farms. In conclusion, while Julep Farms offers a visually stunning experience with ample parking and clean bathrooms, it is important to be aware that the level of service can be hit or miss. I encourage you to give it a try, but I want to ensure that you are fully informed about the potential service inconsistencies. Let us hope that the leadership at Julep Farms takes the necessary steps to address and rectify these issues.

Quaint little upscale boutique with restaurant on a gorgeous plot of land. I think it's also a wedding venue. Not sure tho.Only ordered frozen coffee at the little cafe and bought a few Christmas gifts. Loved the atmosphere tho. Coffee was good and not expensive at all.

Stopped by after a hike. Grabbed a few light bites and drinks from the 3-5 menu. Highly recommend baked brie! Grounds are beautiful and we spent time just strolling around.

I am a restaurant GM and have very high expectations. Julep Farms exceeded every one! What a magical dining experience! The gift shop alone is worth a visit! Every single staff member we interacted with was lovely! Our server was so sweet and never missed a beat. Every dish we ordered was delectable! Artisan breads, delicious salads, and the best steak I’ve ever had topped with a heavenly pimento cheese sauce and crispy onions. We topped off our meal with the bread pudding and it was heavenly. The dining room is chic and beautifully decorated with a roaring fireplace and stunning lighting. The cocktails were amazing. I chose the French Kiss which was chambord and champagne topped with fresh berries. Thank you for a perfect dining experience. We can’t wait to return! ❤️

The grounds are beautiful and seems like a place with a ton of potential. However, the service was very bad. We were told a 10 minute wait for lunch, after waiting 60 minutes, I asked when we would be seated and her response was “oh yeah you have been waiting a long time”. Once seated I had to go to the bar to order drinks, after 40 minutes we still had not been brought water… the place was not horribly crowded, there was a decent amount of staff just apparently not trained. Disappointing, we will not be returning.

Beautiful estate and food. I have been coming back and forth for the past few years from Asheville and me and my hubby FINALLY got the best service and food. We arrived Friday as it was busy but we waited 30 mins…we had amazing drinks called the bees knees… then the show!!! It was spicy shrimp app and then fillets. Avery was our server and she was magnificent. I highly recommend this spot since the change. Thank you all for growing and being wonderful again

Let me start by saying we had visited two previous times and had a great experience. The third time, not so much. We made reservations for July 2nd at 11:30a.m.. We arrived and checked in. An hour later, we asked the hostess what the delay was. After a brief conversation, we were seated. We were given water by the hostess and did not see a server for 30 minutes. We decided after a total of an hour and a half it was time to leave. As we exited, we noticed several people who had been seated prior to us still with no food. Many looks of anger and sadness. If you are short staffed, let patrons know. Maybe don't take so many reservations. As we left, we voiced our displeasure to the hostess. I believe it feel on deaf ears as she really did not care. I won't be driving down and back from the Highlands to visit anymore. Very disappointed.

A fun little experience when you’re in that area! We drove up from Covington, and overall it was a little underwhelming for the distance we drove to see it, but I don’t regret it. We had a great time, the grounds were beautiful and they’re dog friendly! We came right as they opened and the fields were basically empty, but we noticed the crowds started to really pull in around 12PM/1PM. If you’re going on a hot day please remember to bring water. There isn’t much shade but they do have a concession stand for lack of better words.

Go to enjoy the scenery and the beautiful farm but the restaurant service was absolutely abysmal, soured our experience. 20 minutes just to get water to our table and it didn’t improve from there.

My husband I love to travel all around to find nice restaurants. Both of us are pretty picky on food because we love to cook. Julep Farms is the BEST! The food is fantastic. They have an amazing chef. The filet with pimento cheese is off the chain. The carrot cake is the best we have ever had and it is made in house. Most important however, are the people. Everyone is so warm and inviting. Lauren the owner has many special gifts from decorating, hiring wonderful people to managing a 5 star restaurant and providing not only fabulous food/drinks but the perfect ambiance.

Lovely cottages, a great restaurant, and a memorable experience at Julep Farms. My friend and I spent a long weekend at Maison Blanche, Julep's newest cottage, and had a very nice stay; the cottage is well appointed with a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and beautiful views. Julep Farms is a picturesque destination with a great gift shop and solid offerings at the Julep Kitchen restaurant. The owners are kind and welcoming, and their touch is evident in every detail from the gorgeous decor to the fun outdoor games at the farm.

I think they’re going through a rough spot. The food, service and ambiance have always been very nice. I believe they lost some workers and are catching up a bit.I’ve noticed some changes with a few menu items (even though the description is the same) and the service is a bit sporadic. Definitely not humming along like a place like this should be.I will go back, but the number of visits will dwindle if things don’t improve. I hope things do. This place can be/was a crown jewel.

I have not stayed there, but I have worked there as a hostess in the restaurant and in the gift gallery. It is a beautiful resort with gorgeous views of the mountains. It's very "upscale" so expect to pay for first class service and accommodations.

A quaint upscale place to stay. My husband and I went there for dinner. The food was delicious. Grant was our server, he provided prompt service and added to the kind atmosphere. After dinner we enjoyed walking around the restaurant. We picked flowers, played some outdoor games that were provided, and of course browsed the shop. Time flew by. 🔆🌹🦆 Our date was wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by Julep Farms. We'll be back.
