I been to this hotel and I had an amazing experience as it has a very nice sunrise and sunset view from the room with a beautiful view of mountains. In early morning you see clouds near and around mountains that is the best view I had even seen. It is a great family stay. I appreciate the owners of the hotel that that they improved the property with good rooms. I would recommend this hotel for a family stay with quiet atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Absolutely wonderful time I had here staff is exceptionally punctual. It felt like home away from home I really hate to have to go but will be back it was accommodating Fair priced and peaceful and quiet and the scene is amazing look out and see the mountains right off the back porch is beautiful the owner is very honest caring and understanding man. Thank you again for the wonderful time we will be backRooms: Through the clean and cozy I have no complaintsSafety: Felt safe and secure not that eerie feeling you get from hotels or feel like someone's watching you I felt like it was very private for me and my wifeWalkability: Anything I needed I could walk to if I really wanted toFood & drinks: Food and drink in the area was wonderful there's a lovely Mexican restaurant right down the road actually walk to it and there's a grocery store close by makes a very convenient also a Dollar general and the scenery is beautifulNoteworthy details: Definitely no worthy as far as leaving review I would encourage anyone that stays here to leave review this owner and his family deserve it they deserve to excel with honors in the hotel business

Absolutely wonderful .. I love it!!! Quiet and relaxing in a spacious room. Between the beautiful view of the mountains looking off a huge deck right off the back of the room, and the most courteous staff I've ever had while staying at any establishment,If I could give this beautiful place 50 million stars I would.

Had to give one star otherwise it wouldn't let me add.To say the very least, I'm VERY disappointed. The suite we are in is absolutely disgusting, checked in at 1 o'clock today, the first man I spoke to that checked me in was friendly. Came in my room and dropped our things off, and left and went about our day. Didn't arrive back to the hotel until late in the evening around 12 pm. Came in and wanted to get straight to bed, but as soon as we pulled the sheets back noticed both beds were absolutely disgusting and not clean, called the front desk, and requested new ones to which they declined at first, until my husband flipped about it. Told us we could could in dirty sheets for the night. The room upon further inspection is absolutely filthy. Bathroom is disgusting, did not provide us with towels (did call about that earlier and he did bring some) there was no trash bags in the bins when we first got here. Went to shower, and the shower is filty with someone else's used soap. Very disappointed, and will be reporting to the BBB.Also, requested a refund as the place is absolutely disgusting, and they refused to refund us. Do not recommend at all.

The man at the front desk made this vacation amazing! We saved money booking this place and we thought we were going to get some basic stuff. We went on our two year anniversary to go hiking but we didn’t really care the place. Not only did he give us a HUGE discount on a suite when we originally booked a king room. He is the nicest guy and is trying to make our anniversary as nice as possible! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and talking about that discount on a Suite… OMG!!! This is the biggest hotel room EVER!!! it’s like a vacation apartment! Best anniversary ever! Not only is it minutes walking distance to the BEST MEXICAN, it’s full of fun small things to do! We hiked so many mountains, such an amazing area!!! 100/10 RECOMMEND!!! Budgetele is cheap but it doesn’t feel that way!!!

This is the filthiest place I have ever stayed! Our sheets had what looked like spots of blood on them! There was no hot water! There were bug droppings in the bathroom floor and they do not maintain it at all! The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom, the coffee pot looks like it has never been washed! The bathroom grout was moldy and the towel rack was barely hanging by a thread! We went to Walmart and purchased sheets of our own and a comforter because this place was so disgusting! The only reason they are getting 1 star is because zero wasn’t an option! Do not stay here!

This hotel could easily be a nice place to stay. They have a pretty view and the owners are very nice. But it's just so so dirty. Pretty much no one seems to work here so obviously they do not have a professional cleaning crew and no one cleans the rooms during the day. My bathroom was covered in hair, my sheets and pillow were worn and dirty, the blankets were overused and gunky, every cloth surface was stained, and every trash can on the premises was overflowing at all times. If you end up staying here you will survive just be prepared!

My husband and I stayed this past weekend, Jan 14 through Jan 17. 2022. The room was very spacious, with 2 queen beds. We really enjoyed our stay and we will stay again. The price was cheaper than other places also. I highly recommend, if you're staying in theDillard, GA area, Budgetel is the place to stay.Thanks and see you again soon!!!

We stayed in room 229 for 2 nights. The room is nice (updated) & big, was very clean, good working fridge, Beds are comfortable. Shower/bathtoom was great. Upon checking in front desk was nice. Now for cons: breakfast is just frozen stuff but guess better than nothing. There's no pool as pictured, looks like it's been filled in for some time. Our AC worked but not great, we had to go buy a fan it took it about 24hrs to get comfortable temp.👎 We left for the day and when we returned all 3 of our keys had been deactivated, guy working front desk quickly resolved issue though. Oh, and the sliding glass door is VERY HARD to open/close.👎 Also lights in the stairwell should come on sooner, i almost fell due to not being able to see! 👎 Overall, for the price it's a nice place to stay, would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for 6 nights during our evacuation from hurricane Irma. We want to thank the entire staff for making what was a frightening time much easier for us. From check in to house keeping the staff was friendly and helpful. They welcomed not only us but all of our pets, which was a primary concern in choosing a place. The wifi was very good and we had a wonderful view of the mountains. Although there are a few things that need repair at this hotel, it was clean and comfortable.

The rooms are a bit tacky, but they are cleaned very well and regularly. Wonderful beds and view from the porch out back, with the rocking chairs being a nice touch. Can't understand the managers worth a damn but the woman at the desk was excellent and very professional. She helped me with anything I needed from housekeeping to booking. ( Misty I believe it was) Recommend her for manager!! Otherwise couldn't ask for a better stay.

The only saving grace was the view. The room I was given (233) I soon found to have a shower that was clogged and was unable to use without water filling the tub. As well there was clear water damage and water stains in the ceilings.The staff was happy to offer me a second room however upon entering it I found it did not appear to have even Been cleaned. There were crumbs of food under the table and the bathtub in the second room was filthy. Unacceptable cleanliness issues especially in light of this COVID issue.

The porch has a nice view, however the hotel is dirty inside and outside. The shower curtain had holes, the bathroom door wouldn't close because the floor was uneven, the room had a funky smell and the coffee maker was dirty. The next afternoon I had bed bug bites all down my wrist and waist.

Pet friendly $10 fee per pet is not bad! Friendly staff, clean room and soft comfortable beds. It's no La Quinta or Hilton, but a good place to stay for a family on a budget. Total cost for 4 adults and 2 dogs was $81. Nice views too!

We were tired and stopped here, not the type of hotel we normally stay in. Lady was very nice at reception and gave us restaurant suggestions - but the reception area was very rough as was the parking lot, property is old and the rooms are basic, heater/ac was so loud it made sleeping difficult - it cycled off and on every minute, we eventually just turned it OFF, room could use some TLC, especially the bathroom and broken door handles, bed was comfortable with very comfortable pillows, sheets were very clean, and on the whole you could tell they were doing their best with what they had, receptionist did let us look at a couple rooms before we committed. I wouldn't stay here again, but for an economy motel at a good price, it worked!

This is an update, as I stayed again for Memorial weekend. This hotel is my favorite place to go. I went 23 yrs ago, and remembered it being wonderful when I was going to the area again last Fall. I was not disappointed! So I booked another vacation there for Memorial weekend. I am going again this Fall and will try to stay a little extra time, I hated to leave! Has WiFi, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, This modest motel is maintained well, clean, large rooms, beautiful views, comfortable beds,friendly staff, lots of hiking to do nearby...and they welcome my dog! I highly recommend.Beautiful, large room with porch and mountain views. Nice staff, too. No WiFi but loved tuning out.This is an update, as I stayed again for Memorial weekend. The hotel is a Budget hotel, no doubt. Having said that, I was a refugee from Izzy and I checked in on the 16th of Jan after a harrowing drive down the mountain from Highlands. I was frozen and exhausted, and the room was a haven. It was warm and clean, and the staff were friendly. I was snowed out of my home for 3 days, and this hotel and staff were perfect for my needs. Clean, warm and working internet. Thank You!

The couple who runs it are very courteous and friendly. The staff is wonderful. My family and I stayed here for a few months while house hunting in the area. The hotel is being remodeled but there was no problem with anything. We recomend it to any friends who visit the area. Very nice people. Also it is pet friendly as long as you tell them you have a dog when you check in. $10 charge for pet.

Be aware that this is a value place, not fancy. It may have been at one time but the pool is gone and the place is dated. But it is clean and it has the best views of any hotel around. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very convenient, easy to find I think it is best to make your reservations on line.

We stayed there one night and were appalled at how filthy the room was. The towels were very thin, dingy and warn I would haves used them for scrub rags. The walls were dirty and cobb webs in corners and hanging from ceiling. The mattresses should have been thrown out long ago they groaned when you laid down. Yes,the place is a little cheaper but still over priced for the condition. We will never stay there again. Pay a little more and stay at a better maintained motel.

Worst hotel i ever stayed in. Receptionist Gita greeted cheerfully and that was the only good part of the hotel. The wall papers were peeling off, commode seat was broken, linens were torn and stained, towels were old and yellowing. But the worst of it was the bathroom smelled bad. Way worse than dirty rest area restrooms. This room should be completely out of order. Lamp was broken. I was too tired to ask for a change of the room. I got in late night and left early morning.

Not the worst place I've stayed, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking to save a couple bucks this place is a decent choice. The rooms are dated, and the bathrooms/appliances could use an update. The wifi isn't very reliable, you may as well just switch to data. My girlfriend and I found it kind of funny that their pool has been filled in, but still appears on the hotel map.We knew going into it that this wasn't going to be the best of hotels, but it served our needs well enough. The scenery around the hotel is very beautiful so that's a plus.

Front desk employee was kind and informative!Room was great for the price! Anyone on here who says otherwise should take note ya get what ya pay for! Want a Ritz Carlton, pay the price!Room had AC, flat screen tv, coffee pot, microwave, fridge and cute back porch area with a beautiful view!Pet fee $10 per pet. Cant beat that!
