They do pretty well here. They always are in stock and usually you can find a employee if needed. Groomers are pretty good as well you just have to be careful which one you get. There's a few that do an amazing job and a few that just phone it in...

This is the first review I have ever left for a business. I will start by saying DO NOT take your dog to this location for grooming services. I have used PetSmart grooming services several times for my golden doodle. They have done an excellent job at other locations and referred to previous notes for her cut. I dropped my dog off and the groomer reviewed her previous notes with me and we discussed how I would like her cut. Keep in mind, her hair was not matted and she was well brushed prior to her appointment...After about 3 hours, I received a call from an employee (not the groomer herself) informing me that she was finished but she wanted to "prepare" me that the groomer was "confused and cut too much off" the top of my dog's head. I arrived and my dog was completely shaved with a little bit of hair left at the end of her tail and hair on her ears (see pictures of my dog before and after her cut). The groomer immediately said "this one will be free." She apologized and said that while she was cutting she felt like she should "triple check the notes." I drove over an hour to have my dog groomed and this was the service I received... Needless to say, I will never be back to this location for grooming and I would discourage anyone from coming to this location. Sure, it's hair and it will grow back and people make mistakes, BUT the lack of professionalism and consideration is why I will not be back here. Do better Dawsonville PetSmart.

The grooming staff are all pleasant and welcoming. Collin takes care of both of our labs and he always does a great job! Oakley and Ivy come back to us smelling great, nails trimmed and tails wagging. Thanks Collin!

VERY SATISFIED customer of PetSmart for decades in 4 different cities and states. I am a grateful contributer to the PetSmart charities with every purchase.Store is always lively with chirps, slithers, purrrs, barks, colorful swimmers and laughter. Shopped for the local Humane Society in one town with LARGE purchases. Usually a 5 star experience.PetSmart usually has what I'm looking for but more employee help never hurts. Items stacked too high to safely reach while empty box of item is within reach. Lots of empty boxes of single items (treats) and empty shelves of bagged food that is "found in the back" by employee. Location of prescription food needs to be posted if there is a veterinarian in house. Getting Rx food coordinated with personal vet is complicated and usually go home empty handed. Lots of items are not priced, especially on "clearance" and "% off" displays. Came home with a small porcelain cat dish from the 50% off table. No original or marked down price attached. Would not have bought it if I knew the price.THANK YOU for having an improved inventory of kitten and puppy foods. Please keep the nutritional needs of senior pets in mind and increase options.I realize each store is different depending on management, floor space, population interest and services offered. Very glad cats are on display are from local shelters looking for their forever home. Just sad to see them....and sometimes fatal for animal.Helpful to have knowledgable employee in different sections where guidance may be needed (fish, medications, food, cat condos, etc).Returns and exchanges are processed according to store rules.This particular store in Dawsonville. GA is 3-4 stars depending who is working that day. Occasionally offered help to my car with large or bulky items, but not a certain. Would certainly recommend.

Clean and fun to explore all they have to offer for our 12 dogs! We bought sweaters and they love them. It helped to have them on sale and to earn points for future purchases. Friendly staff too.

Decided to bring my puppy here for this first grooming, it’s petsmart so seemed like a safe choice. BIG MISTAKE, HUGE! I was over charged with nothing that was supposed to be included in grooming package was done. They even had the audacity to charge me an extra brushing fee, when I had to take him home after this and brush him myself. The woman who was supposed to have groomed him wasn’t even there to talk to when I picked him up. So I didn’t even bother to complain in person. After this I spent the money on my own grooming tools, and haven’t looked back. Want something done right, do it yourself. Or at the very least go elsewhere.

Awesome trainer regardless of her relationship to me. 😎 I've watched her classes, and her students always seem happy.Knowing her, she really values the animal/human bond, and gets excited when her students excel. Of course I'm biased, but if you call ahead and schedule an evaluation you will know the same is true.Please understand she honors her students time, so don't be surprised if she doesn't short change her customers to talk to you when she's having a class. You won't be disappointed. I promise. Make sure to actually talk to someone about classes.

Love the store, but we did not have a great experience with grooming. They close at six, my wife got there at 5:40 pm to get our dog’s nails trimmed and they told her they were closing down. She rushed home from work in order to get there in time only for them to tell her that they couldn’t trim his nails because they were in the process of shutting down. There were still 20 minutes until they officially closed down. That’s not very good business practice. Definitely don’t go there if you’re not going to be there an hour before they close for the day, just in case.

Terrible grooming service. While I will say I let my pup grow out a bit longer than normal the "groomer " was nasty about it made me awful. I left with my pup un groomed as I was not comfortable with how she treated me I was less than comfortable with how she would be with my baby.

Do not use the groomers. Indicated I'd need dematting/detangling when I scheduled, as my dog's coat is too long to manage currently. I was charged extra both for dematting and excessive brushing for a dog that wasn't even brushed. $70 for a bath/blow dry and nail trim. Maybe the matting wasnt obvious enough (for someone who's supposed to be a groomer) but at least mention that you couldnt find the spots or even that it was too much of a task for you and dont charge for a service you didn't do. Like not even a little bit. Don't worry, on top of paying extra for a service that wasn't even performed, I also spent extra money to buy a dematting tool and spent 45 minutes doing it myself. Never again.

My grooming experience was fantastic. I called about getting my cat groomed and was informed that the only person there that does cats only works Mondays & Tuesdays. She told me that groomer would call me to set something up. She called me on Monday & said her Tuesday was completely booked but she would do her best to squeeze us in. She called me on Tuesday and told us to come up. I thought it was so nice of her to add us into her already packed schedule. When we got there she loved on my cat & really made him trust her. She was also very realistic about what he needed to have done. Not only was she quick to get the job done, she did a great job & my cat was still being super affectionate towards her all the way til the end, even after the trauma of being in water 😂 The rest of the staff was super friendly as well & seemed like they really loved every fur baby they were working with. I believe the groomer that bathed my cat was named was Amanda but I could be wrong. Either way, I will be returning with all my grooming needs & highly suggest bringing your pets here.

I went here to buy cat food. I cannot find the ki no d I no need and I looked online and found the food at PetSmart. This is the first time I have been in PetSmart. The store was amazing! The employees were awesome, extremely he helpful without me asking for help. They just saw the lost look on my face and asked if I needed help! I LOVE THAT!!!!A lot of stores will not do that!!!!
