I have older fur babies. Two labs, 115 pound male and 85 pound female, littlermates. Angela really loves my fur babies. She takes such good care of them. She even cried when my male, Duke, was diagnosed with cancer. I trust her and I know she going to take good care of both my babies!! Been going every month for almost two years. I just don’t have enough good things to say!! I love the staff and show off all the pictures of my fur babies at Petco!!!

We'd used the Petco by the Mall of Ga. in Lawrenceville for 5 years. Because our experience had always been good, when we moved, we didnt hesitate to bring our 3 Pomeranians and teacup Aussie Shepperd (all long haired with undercoat) for some pampering at a nearby branch (Petco at Marketplace in Dawsonville) to be groomed. Before leaving our babies, we explained in great detail what we wanted done as far as the cut, a full bath etc. None were groomed as requested and all 4 came back infested with fleas! Not only did my dogs who have never had a flea on them, in my home, ever, have fleas after leaving this branch, they weren't bathed well and were itchy, the cut wasn't what we'd asked for and their chests had not been touched at all and still had matting which required them to go back to have the error rectified. After the inconvenience of taking two back, we decided it was best to take care of the other two ourselves (dematting and re-bathing). For what they charge for the service, plus a very nice tip, I expected much better treatment for my dogs. Not to mention that by the time we discovered the itching was fleas, the dogs had been home for days and I now had to eradicate the fleas from my home! Save yourself time, aggravation and your dogs a miserable experience and shop around before you also end up with fleas on your pet(s) and in your home. Ps.We now have a new groomer who does a wonderful job!

The young lady who provided my dogs nail trimming has a great way with the animals for which she cares. My dog is very nervous and hates to have the Vet trim her nails. She goes willingly with the young lady (Jessica?) and I have observed their interaction through the window and my dog is completely at ease! I am so happy I found this young lady and Petco. I buy my dogs meds through Petco. Thank You Johnny Yaughn

Petco was the only establishment that remained open (during COVID19) to simply trim dog's nails. Everywhere else refused or required a full groom service to trim nails. In addition to Petco's overall performance the groomer we had was amazing. She was extremely patient with both dogs and was able to get one of them on a grooming table for the first time. It was a wonderful experience and I will certainly be coming back here in the future. Great job!

I know I can count on Angela to listen to my concerns about my geriatric schnauzer and handle her gently. My dog is allergic and Angela is one of the only groomers that has sent her back to me without irritated skin.
