It's just okay. I mean, it's within walking distance from our apartment so I won't complain too much. They need to fill up the shelves, keep the items on them organized/front/faced and hire more staff. That's a relatively large store for such a skeleton crew. They've always been nice to me. I have no idea how they are towards other people. That said, complaints don't come from out of nowhere. Perhaps they can look into improving their customer relations with those unsatisfied customers.

have absolutely nothing stocked!! horrendous customer service! have never had an employee just walk away before completing the transaction. no employee should walk away before finishing checking out their customer to talk to someone else. absolutely terrible.

I hope Dollar General as a company sees this and not just the management at the store. My complaint is mostly about Dollar General specifically and not just this location, but I will say I don't think I've ever had a good experience at this location. The staff aren't very friendly and not very knowledgeable. I went in for gift cards and was told they could only sell two per hour and they had to be paid for in cash. Really Dollar General? Nowhere else is this a thing. It's completely ridiculous. But at least I saw a sign warning you at another location that it was cash only. Between they're stupid policies and this location's poor service, I just can't go back.

Awful!! Act like customers are not at the counter and just act like they don't have to help if they don't want too! You chose the dg career it's about the customers!! When the customers are very nice and friendly set a good example for the business! Your not to good to walk to the counter and check someone out ! Rediculous

Just wanted to let everyone know that this store is currently under New management. I am the new manager and I can assure you that I am working really hard to get this store up to store standards. So I ask of you all to please give us another chance to prove ourselves. I have been here a little over a week now and there's already a huge difference. So start making your way back in.

The people working at the Danielsville store are friendly enough, but it has to be the worst managed Dollar General I've been in. It is never well stocked and organized. And it is always under staffed for the volume of business they do.

This Dollar Store NEVER orders appropriately, they are always out of common items even right after restocking, things run out and are not replaced for weeks even with multiple shipments coming in. The employees claim the regional manager orders for all the stores here and it's their fault, but the Dollar Stores in the surrounding towns are always fully stocked. It has been this way for at least five years, since moved into town, and has been consistently getting worse. Whoever is supposed to be in charge over there clearly isn't doing their job.

Decent place to shop. One of the nicer bigger stores. Usually not crowded nor do u have to stand in line too long to check out. But the store is not ever stocked well. The frozen section hardly ever has anything and what is left is any good stuff it's the cheap off brand but the rest of the store stays pretty well stocked as long as your not looking for frozen foods

Have "mask required" signs but very few customers wear them. Groups and families of customers are often in the store with no masks. Have seen cashiers and other employees working with no masks on multiple visits, surfaces are not sanitized between customers. Store is often crowded with physical distancing not observed. Stock is poor and extremely limited with multiple items rarely restocked. The two other dollar stores nearby are always fully stocked. Was told by an employee that the manager of this store does not reorder unless items are completely out of stock. Overall, not a great place to shop. You're better off driving to the one in Ila or Comer.

Store is convenient but always seems cluttered with items to be stocked. Store layout is chaotic and often has everything except what I am looking for. It does offer many necessary items for a decent price versus driving miles to larger stores.

Went to the one in Danielsville. They were busy and they had 2 registers open. The cashier I was in line for was very friendly, made conversation and had me checked out in no more than 5 minutes. If that long. I even thanked her for being so fast.

Place is garbage, most unkempt store I've ever seen, merchandise isn't organized, there can be one item on one side of the store, and something just like it will be in 3 other places. Theres always stuff on the floor, and the staff likes to stand around chattering instead of earning there wages. Whoever the manager is needs to be fired in a bad way.

Have you ever checked out and had the clerk tell you your card did not go through. They then ask "do you have another card? ". Well my daughter who is a new bank account holder had this scenario. Her total was$3 in change she opted to get $10 back in cash. The clerk told her the transaction did not process. My wife then gave her her debit card. That transaction processed for a total of $13 in change in the clerk handed my wife$10 in cash. Another clerk in the store advised my daughter to double-check her account to see if indeed the transaction posted. In fact it did post to account. Not to be confused with taking away from her available balance. My wife and daughter returned on several occasions to speak to the manager about this situation. They were told there's nothing we can do you'll have to contact corporate. They did not know then contact number or provide any information to assist us.

Needs to improve on greeting all customers as we walk in. Felt like there was some frustration between the ladies who were working tonight, by the way she addressed the cashier as the cashier walked away. Should have been more polite telling her, she needs to stay at her register while she does the return and exchange. I understand that everyone has bad days, but never let the customers see tension or hear negative remarks, and in this case, her rude mood. I did need help finding a certain item and couldn't find the variety of the item and the new worker had no idea where it was, and didn't bother to ask the manager/key holder for help, which suprised me, so I had to ask her myself. I really appreciated her directing me to the destination it was, instead of her just telling me it's down a certain aisle, as I have experienced in the past. The moods did seem to be much better when I was checking out, but I feel like the employee should have already known to stay at her register as the manager/key holder was at it. I have experienced much worse at this certain location (Danielsville), but can say it has improved, but still need to improve more one in which is communication between the employees.

They are clutter free most of the time well stocked. They tend to have an extremely long wait to check out, but that's because they are a busy location. This is one of my three favorite stores..

This is by far the worst DG in Madison Cty. The shelves are never stocked, trash all over floor, empty frozen section, and the employees are usually outside smoking. Please, either get this store in shape or find some management who can get the job done.

The DG on Sam's Grove Rd Danielsville GA is disgusting!! Shelving is unorganized and barely stocked.My family go 5 miles out of our way to Ila DG. It's beautiful.

It is close to the house, convenient, low prices, and family atmosphere, I love going to Dollar General and i think you would as well. Thank you to the staff at Dollar General for making me feel as i was one of the family members

This store is hard to shop in. Isles full of stuff, carts full of merchindise etc. Shelves are a mess and disorganized. Lots of merchindise just very disprganized and cluttered

I mostly shop at the new Ila, Georgia store. The girls always say, "Hello", and this makes you feel noticed. Keep it up!
