0/5 ⭐️Took my cat to get her nails clipped and to get some nail caps put on, no problem! Well I was so nervous for being 5 minutes late for the appointment, but ended walking around sweating in that hot store for half an hour after I got there before she was taken back. Not 5 minutes later, Andria S. called me asking me if I was still in the store, I was, she says that my cat had scratched her with only one nail clipped, that she could not finish the appointment and that I needed to come back to the grooming desk to pick her up! *sarcastic gasp* 😲Wow!! I am shocked!! My cat scratched a complete stranger that is clipping nails, which she hates. I felt a little sorry about her getting scratched, but that’s part of the job when you work so closely with cats. It’s your job!! Then, when I get the counter at the grooming center, my cat is in her carrier which is sitting on the counter COMPLETELY ALONE!! Seriously, you left her sitting there for anyone to walk by and just pick up her carrier! 😡Andria S. the highly recommended and beloved groomer couldn’t even wait the 2 minutes it took me to get to the grooming center, and speak to me face to face- like a decent human being!! No she had already started working on the next pet on her agenda! DO NOT RECOMMEND! 🤬🤬

I took my doggo to get groomed for the first time and his amazing groomer Danielle took great care of him! She was gentle and sweet with him and made sure she took her time so he would be comfortable with everything. She even went above and beyond and sent me pictures during the grooming process so that I could see my little boy was doing great!! I will definitely be booking with her again!!

Horrible pet grooming service. I scheduled a $90 grooming service including washing, brushing, furliminator, nail trimming grinding, examination of ear and anal glands, etc. Once I went to pick up my pet a hr after they called me around 6:00 pm. The grooming room lights were off. My pet was in the back, alone in the cage in the dark and was kinda skeptical. No one was even back there. The lady from the front counter had to come to the back and get my pet for me. It wasn't even closing time. On top of that he was scratching more then normal and I noticed a patch of missing fur on his back about a week or two later. So I took him to the vet and they diagnosed him with an ear infection and dry itchy skin. It clearly states in the description that they examine, the ears and anal gland of your pet. Why did no one tell me anything was going on if you examined these areas they could've at least told me something was going on. I should've known something was wrong when I showed up and everyone was gone at 6pm. When they don't close into 9pm. On top of that he still had a fowl smell to him! I'm never take my pet back there. Neither will I recommend them to anyone else. A $200 vet bill on top of an almost $100 service. VERY UPSET 😡

I brought my puppy here like normal and his normal girl doesn’t work there anymore no big deal so I use a different person. Well we get a call he’s done and the girl said he hurt his claw because he was clawing at the cage which is the first time he’s done that. Then she mentioned that he has accidents that I have to pick him up or they’ll charge me if he has an accident. Well the final straw is he’s acting different and seems sad which he never has before and they didn’t even use the chi shampoo that I paid extra for.

Michael the store manager in dalton ga was absolutely amazing he saved me a 100 mile round trip on a product. I called Cleveland first to see if their stock online was correct before I drove all the way there and the lady I talked to told me if it said they have it they do but they didn’t Next store I called was dalton ga Michael took his time to look it up and helped me get another product that was similar. Cleveland should have employees that go above and beyond like the dalton location.

The employees were wonderful and scheduling was easy. They listened to what I wanted and agreed to what I had said. I’m disappointed in when I asked for a teddy bear face and they just cut all of his facial hair and it definitely isn’t a teddy bear cut. They also rightfully shaved his front paws, but I had mentioned that I don’t want to use a razor and they said they only use clippers. I wish they had consulted me before making his legs and face so short. I would not take my doodle here. Pretty disappointed in what I got (see photos).

This Pet Smart just recently opened in Dalton and it is a nice place to bring my corgi. Nicole and the other grooming salon staff are very nice and friendly. They have done an awesome job grooming my corgi. I would totally recommend the furminator bath for all those shedding and see if you can get the Chi spray after they finish brushing.

The room was big, bed comfortable.. But got there to check in at 730 pm the front door was locked no one was around called the front desk for 30 minutes before the night guy came from the side of the building. The next morning go down for breakfast at 8 and no eggs 1 sausage a few pieces of bread and the pancake maker had no mix, the guy sitting behind the counter didn't bother to do anything. Last time we will stay there.

Trevor was extremely helpful and friendly. We came home with a new pet, a guinea pig. He helped us find everything we were going to need for our new fur baby and explained to us how to become a rewards member and the perks to it.

Best place for pets! They have everything. Same day appointments for grooming on some days. Best customer service. Friendly and helpful staff. If I could give it 6 stars I would !! Will price match as well. They also groom cats

Hailey in grooming forgot to put our vaccination records in from the last visit which was only 3 months ago. Dogs not even a year old so the vaccination did not run out. Do better please!!!!

There prices are lower than petco. Great variety of things for any pet you have. Love the adopt a cat area!! Only disappointment was they didnt have any aquatic frogs.

Dalton GAWORST Customer Service I have Ever Experienced. EVER!! Lazy, Rude and their designated "Experts" knew less than my 10 year old daughter but spoke to me like I was ignorant. The Entire Staff on duty 6/28/23 should be replaced. The Upper Management Team really needs to have Unannounced visits and/or mystery shoppers to see how that store is being run on a daily basis... That particular location disgraces all the good stores and employees at other locations.

This corporation absolutely abuses its employees. Every Pet Smart I have been to is severely understaffed and underpaid. A little bit of research proves that this does "Anything for Profits." Their one saving grace is their pet training and adoption programs.
