My husband and I wanted to look at axolotls today and saw this place had great reviews, so we decided to check it out! Unfortunately, the experience wasn't very great. First, the smell in that place was horrific. It was a mix of a strong apple/pumpkin spice smell and the normal smells of reptiles, fish, hamsters, etc. but it was so insanely strong I had to cover my nose the whole time we were in there. I actually scared the hamsters by gagging loudly cause I thought the smell would be less strong when I got to their area, but it wasn't. I was unable to find employees and we weren't greeted at all, so I assume they're short staffed, but we finally found one axolotl and it wasn't kept in the proper environment that it needed. It was on pebbles and rocks and in the same tank as snails, and axolotls will definitely try to eat rocks and snails because they don't know better, and then their stomachs become impacted. It's not worth the risk of death or needing veterinary care for an issue that could be easily prevented. I'm gonna hope they'll fix the issue, and if they do I'll change my review. I just hate seeing an animal in conditions that it shouldn't be in, and it only takes a small amount of research to figure that out. Please reach out if you wanna speak to me directly for information as I'd love to assist, because I'd really love for that axolotl and future ones in the store to be in the best suited environment for them. But truly, the smell was so bad and I still smell like pumpkin spice since leaving.

Sal, Terri, and Cory were all so helpful! I got my first Bearded Dragon and they helped us get everything we needed and load it in to the car. They also have a lot of knowledge on all of their reptiles and make sure they go to great homes.

It was a little hard to find at first because its sign on the building is very small, but we were impressed by this exotic pet store!!We live an hour away but came out because they are the only store I could find with live feeder mice.The owner was nice and very easy to talk to. He has a large selection of reptiles and fish. He has huge, beautiful setups for his in-house pets. All his animals look well fed and happy.

Sal is amazing and has earned his reputation for sure. Biggest exotic store around with loads of amazing snakes, lizards, salt water fish, spiders, scorpions and sooo much MORE . I definitely recommend L&S Exotics 💓 Thank you guys so much for everything you do and continue to do because without you guys my future little ball python collection would suck !

Sal is a superhero!!! I just had an exchange with him that almost made me cry! Lol. My sons Knife fish died and he was pretty tore up about it and Sal gave us another one. What a man! My son who is 11 was so patient and promised Sal he would research and work at keeping these fish alive. Unfortunately we had one out of the 4 fish die. To Sal, it’s all about the kids and the animals. Great business owner. Amazing man! Thank you Sal!

We came yesterday just to visit and there was a woman working who took time out to share her babies with my Fiancés Son. I can not tell you how much it not only meant to the little boy but also meant to us. Kindness goes a really long way, I sincerely thank you for taking the time to allow the opportunity to share your love for these reptiles. Way more than just a pet store.

So helpful and friendly! Love stopping by to look at all the animals and visit. Kids love it too! They have everything you could possible need from gorgeous snakes, lizards, spiders, fish, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, ect to feeders like rodents, crickets, super worms. Don't know how I didn't know about it sooner.

My family and I love this hidden gem. Everyone is so knowledgeable about animals. Especially reptiles and how to take care and handle them. I took my family to visit for the holidays and we ended up buying a Chinchilla 😆. I was suppose to come back and get it for my daughter as a birthday gift. We all ended up getting Covid. We were sick really bad. Sal and his family were nice enough to hold on to her for us until I felt better and came and got her. There was never any pressure. My family is truly grateful 🙏. They are all really nice and kind hearted people. So I can honestly say one of the best places to visit and purchase reptiles hands down.

The first time that I ever came into this place. Appearances, is everything this place Was A joke you Would have thought they would take more care Everything looked but it looked horrible in there. I turned around and left.The mannequin was creepy. P, s you had nothing that was interesting because of the whole scenery was just a cluster . And on top of that, I was never spoken to never said. Can I help you or anything like that?That's not good customer service. Furthermore I even Called up there to ask if you had a certain kind of fish. You said yes, you did. And when I went up there. Was no fish to be found. So if this is how you conduct business, nobody needs to be going to This place . That is Called Bait switch

They are so helpful there they just stop helping you to help the next person. Went in for shrimp and fish. There were dead fish on the floor and around the tank. Would not be going back.

We made an hour and a half drive to check out this store and I'm so glad we did. My son wanted a reptile for his birthday and we needed a store that could answer all of our questions, and they did just that.We were greeted promptly and explained what we were looking for, something for beginners and the most kind lady helped us. She showed us many different reptiles and explained the care they needed. Once, we decided which one she and her sweet daughter helped us get everything necessary for our new gecko, who has been named Rex.I highly recommend this store. They had a wide variety of reptiles (some very large ones), also saw spiders, scorpions, fish, cute bunnies, and lots of bugs for feedings. Staff was very knowledgeable.Just be patient, the store was very busy and only had one worker and she was doing her best. Also, it's very warm in the store but I'm guessing because it's best for reptiles or maybe just the type of building. I don’t know but it's definitely worth going inside.

This place is awesome. Not only are their feeders excellent quality, but this place is just so entertaining to visit. It's like stepping into a zoo, except most of the animals can go home with you if you want. Amazing selection. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. One ⚠️ caution, if you are not a reptile person, after a few visit here, you might become one. Enjoy!

This is a great place. We almost didn't go because we thought it was land "to"sea (witch we cannot stand them) but its a completely different place and store. Land "and" sea is pretty cool they have a huge collection of bigger lizards that we loved. I have to video chat my dad to show him. He loved it. I'm older but it made me feel like a kid. Thank y'all. My kids absolutely loved it as well.

Love going and looking at the animals. Almost like a mini zoo. Very friendly employees. Ok so I've started going more due to them being the 1 of 2 places that have live feed. I freaking love this place. Cory and sal are so friendly and they give great advice. Honestly if ANY of my animals got sick I would bring it to them first. Love this place. It's a little mini family.
