Hands DOWN THE BEST!! I love this place. I love the doctor and the staff. When my I bring my dog here, it's almost like he's home..we walk in and "Hi Chucky". I moved in the area Feb 2021 and took my baby to two vets...fast forward...this is the third and I'm NEVER leaving. Don't go anywhere else, I'm so serious. The bed side manner, customer service, guidance...everything is on point. Love them!

I've been bringing my Son's little munchkin here since we got him at 8 weeks in March. They are so kind and so sweet. Dr. Shapiro is so humble and loves the animals as well his interaction with the owners. They are genuine.

Stop searching, this is your new Veterinarian. Dr Shriver and his staff are simply the best. Yes, not all of us may get along with some personalities behind the desk, I will admit this & funny enough another patron said the same while in the waiting area. But this isn’t someone you’d have to encounter often, I assure you.There were many other practices to choose from that are closer to our home, but after scrutinizing reviews and receiving a personal recommendation we began taking our 5 dogs here, 2 of which are working dogs.Simply put, they are worth the 30+ minute drive! We used to drive 45 minutes previously, so that should give an idea of how important veterinary care is for us especially after having moved cross-country.

I had a great experience. I took my cat Sam for the 1st time. He does not like to be groomed so I knew it would be difficult. They had to sedate him, which we talked about in advanced. They did an excellent job. Sam and I are very pleased. They are his new groomers forever. The staff is amazing. I love the lion cut.👍👍

Our dog we’ve had for 12 years took a turn for the worse today, and we knew it was time. After calling around to 15 different animal hospitals, animal Covington was the only one that was able to fit us in.Thank you. Thank you for being there for us when no one else would. Thank you for your kindness, and compassion today. Thank you for loving our dog in her last moments, and even after. Thank you for the box you put her in, and the blankets you wrapped her up in. This was one of the saddest experiences, but you did your best to make it the best for us. It means more than you can imagine. Your entire staff was amazing, and kind, and compassionate. Thank you.

I took my daughter’s Jack Russell/mix here because one of her puppies got stuck during birth. The dog had already given birth to 2 pups and we knew she couldn’t have been carrying very many from the size of her and her pups! The puppy was freed from the mother in seconds, of course the pup didn’t survive, it was dead before we got to the vet unfortunately. The mother was fine, however we were told that there was one more pup left in the sack and they suggested we leave the mother there until she delivered, or they would need to do a c-section the following morning… The mother never delivered anymore puppies because there were none!!! It’s been two years now and she’s fine!

Dr.Kristian was great! Our dog injured his leg and the Doctor was able to take us in without a previous appointment. The vet assistant was also very kind, to both us and our pet.Locale is nice, clean, and well decorated so you really feel like you're at home and it doesn't have that hospital feel like a lot of vets do.

Took our litter of puppies for 6 week vaccinations and check up. The staff was extremely helpful getting all the puppies inside and back out to my vehicle. They were very efficient and professional. Dr. Shiver was great and very informative. He has earned our future business.

I took my dog Zoey here for her first visit and grooming. I absolutely love this place. Customer service was amazing, they staff was extremely friendly w me and my furbaby. Groomer did an amazing job and I will be scheduling regular monthly visits. Great job!!!!

My daughter grooms fur babies there....we found out our Harley has cancer...Dr.Shriver has been so good with her and with us..he even offered to explain this to my 11 yr old grandson. Just really great ppl. And my daughter loves them too.

I was looking for a vet to take my sick cat to and found these guys on Google. They were able to get me in the same day and provided awesome customer service. They provided straightforward, transparent and reasonable pricing and Dr. Shriver was great with my cat. He was able to tell me about my cat's aging issues and I received my cat's blood work up results in about 2 hours. Very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet in the Covington area.

Dr Shriver has taken care of my pet for years. He and his staff are always courteous and kind. Most recently, our newest member had to have emergency surgery due to an intestinal blockage. Dr. Shriver stayed late, on a Friday night, to take care of our baby. He was very compassionate and took time to explain everything to me as far as the procedure and what to expect moving forward. He always takes time for questions and never makes you feel rushed. I wouldn’t think of taking my pets anywhere else!

be very careful using this Dr. my dog had bladder stones removed with another doctor and was fine, then I moved to this vet because it was closer to home. My dog had to have another bladder stones operation and he died half hour after picking him up, I do so believe the doctor or staff gave him too much medication, because he had many operations and was walking around fine but not this time he couldn't even get up, he was only 9 years old. When I went in to give the medications I bought back to them the counter staff wouldn't even look me in the eye, she gave me the cold treatment, talk about guilty!!!
