Absolutely love this place! They are so caring and attentive to my dog. AND they actually know what they are doing which seems like a hard thing to come by these days. Because it’s a good vet it is a little more expensive but worth it every time. They always do their best to accommodate for not only the animals but the owners as well by giving out pamphlets and showing effective affordable option to pay for the vet bills without breaking the bank in one visit. I drive an hour away to go to this vet! Would recommend to anyone that asked!

My dog has had preventative care, surgical care including teeth cleaning and TPLO surgery for a ligament, and medical care as well as boarding at NVH. The best review I can give is Luna’s. Despite the “Owie” care of surgery and lab work, she always happily enters the clinic, loves the staff, and leaves with her tail wagging. We drive over an hour to see the great doctors and staff at NVH. Luna gives NVH 5 paws up!!

I was so impressed with the level of care that my Buddy received at your facility. The team that was working with my boy had such a sweet demeanor, and disposition in caring for my dog. Dr. Gaddy was super helpful and willing to help in whatever we ask her to do whether test, x-rays, further blood testing. Her manner remain consistent throughout the appointment. We were there way past closing and not one person showed any irritation that we were there so late I want to thank all who participated in helping Buddy; a class act for sure. About ten years ago, I found a little tortoiseshell kitten with a giant abscess on her cheek. She was a neighborhood feral and had been skittish up to that point. However, the abscess and resulting fever had left her devoid of energy and sick. I picked her up and brought her to NE Vet Hospital. Being an average 21 year old from a blue collar family, I let them know up front that I didn't really have much money for treatment but that I couldn't just leave her there. I offered to pay in installments if necessary. They drained the abscess, gave me antibiotics to kill off the infection, and very kindly offered me a rate I could afford that day, though I'm sure it was at a great discount. She healed right up, and all this time later, my Lucy is still with me. I've never forgotten that kindness offered to us when I could hardly afford an exam fee. Thank you for giving my baby a chance.

Your pet is in the BEST hands! My dog is always excited to see the staff working because he is loved and adored. That makes me feel confident in leaving him in their care whether for yearly exams or boarding. Their facilities are top notch and the people are the best around. I like their service very much. I’ve been going there for about 13-14 years. I especially like Debbie and Hollis. Both are extremely knowledgeable and of course there’s Dr.Cecily, she’s performed surgery on both of my Chihuahuas, I simply love her for her work with my babies. Great bunch of people all around, can’t say enough good things about them !!! I’m sure anyone would be thrilled with their service !

We entered the hospital Friday on two wheels, immediately after my Yorkie was ran over that morning. Dr. Cecily worked miracles! She came to our car while we were in hysterics and was very straightforward with her thoughts, however, keeping us hopeful at the same time! Mrs. Cecily personally called us for updates throughout the day, & SOMEHOW managed to get our boy home that afternoon. Then Dr. Doug was there to check on him first thing the next morning (Saturday)!The staff is amazing, communication is wonderful, but most importantly our boy is still here with us!!My family will never be able to express our gratitude.(It is worth noting(b/c I mentioned it a million times while there)… SOMEHOW, the office does not have that expected, terrible smell that most vets/shelters have. I’m still trying to figure that one out.)

Dr. Gaddy & the staff were wonderful. They were very thorough & took plenty of time with our dog. The staff called quickly with test results & I also received the results along with notes in my email. They provided detailed quotes before any treatment & explained everything in detail. All this & Saturday appointments make it our BEST vet experience yet!

From the ladies at the front desk all the way to the Dr. I felt important and at ease. They treated me with respect. Leo was also treated like a king, even given a snack of cheese. I highly recommend Northeast Veterinary Hospital.

We switched from another vet in Cornelia to NE vet hospital & couldn't be happier. We have an older dog with cancer & Dr. Cecily took time to explain all of our options & what she would do if it was her pet with this diagnosis. We made the decision to keep our furry family member comfortable and let nature take it's course. So far, we have had an extra 6 months with our furry love.

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Dr Cecily and her team are the best staff I have ever known in veterinary medicine. I have brought various animals here over the past 3 years and I am so grateful for what they do. They made saying goodbye to my sweet boy as easy as they possibly could, and were incredibly kind to me and my boy regarding our situation and what we had been through over the weekend. Dr. Cecily is so incredibly kind, compassionate and she really cares about each and every pet that walks through those doors. I love Renee and Hollis very much also, i always feel immediate comfort when Renee answers the phone!! Thank you for getting me in today, I couldn’t be more thankful.

We have used Northeast Vet for over 4years. We have a dog with a chronic condition and Dr, Doug has been very thorough, kind, and caring with our dog. Whenever he has a flair-up the staff is ready and helpful to make sure that he gets over it as soon as possible. Every one at the office is friendly, helpful, and compassionate. We have used other Vets in the area in the past, and I would never take any of my pets anywhere else. Truly the best in the area!

I hate how much prices have gone up with vets these days and all the tests that they want to run for a simple annual check up. That having been said, I really do like the doctors and techs I have worked with here. They have been very open, professional, and friendly. I feel they have taken very good care of my pets. I would recommend them.

I just moved to town so I do not have a home vet yet. I called about my dog and the receptionist was so kind, she asked so many questions and she had me perform a few tests on my dog to tell her health status. They got me in the same day on an emergency basis. The vet tech was so kind and treated my baby so gently and sweet. He explained everything to me in detail and we discussed possibilities while waiting for the Dr. Dr. Doug came in and he blew me away with his knowledge and experience. Digging deeper when trying to diagnose what is wrong with my dog. He talked to me for almost an hour at closing time explaining everything and making a game plan for treatment. I have never had a vet take so much time to talk to me and I didn't even have an actual appointment. I knew that my dog is in great hands here!I came back the next day for more testing and again Dr. Doug was so informative and helpful. I know I've found my vet here for all future pets and visits!!

This vet is the absolute worst I’ve ever taken my pet to! What vet serves a menu on what you can afford making you feel pressured. My fiancé and I were charged 600+$ for them to not find the actual cause of our dog’s sickness.I was informed by the vet that they are not professionals when they misdiagnosed my dog! I highly recommend finding a different more professional vet to take your pets to! YOU SUCK dog balls!

What an amazing group to work with! Our 11 week old Goldendoodle was diagnosed with Parvovirus shortly after we got her. After a grueling week, she is finally on the mend. Northeast Veterinary hospital worked with us so that we would not have to send her to an emergency vet, saving us thousands! I am now a loyal customer and will go nowhere else for our animals’ care. My visit was great today. I really liked both the assistant and the doctor. The assistant who helped me get my 2 chocolate Labrador pups from the car into the building (I have a broken leg and it was raining!) was super sweet and made a point to engage with my 3 year old which I really liked as it made her feel included in the visit. She was great with the puppies and was able to move through her tasks (weight, temperature, etc.) with ease. She also seemed to work well with the doctor.Dr. Gady was very friendly and had a good energy. The pups really seemed to like her too. She took her time with each of the puppies and seemed confident in what she was doing. When one of the pups wasn’t cooperating she was very patient. She seemed very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. I asked her some questions related to dog food, having the puppies spayed, microchips, and she told me about pet insurance. She made sure to address any concerns I had and even said she would add a few notes to my file.Overall I was super pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. The assistant even helped me get the pups back to the truck in the rain when we were finished which I really appreciated.

Came in Friday 12/9/22 as an emergency walk in. My dog was yelping crying in pain all morning wouldn’t eat, couldn’t touch him wasn’t being himself. My husband called me at work said we needed to take him to the emergency vet he’s in pain. We just moved to the area, came to this animal hospital, all a can say is phenomenal customer service, Dr. Lauren Gaddy and her assistant were very knowledgeable, knew what they were talking about , answered all of our questions and was very concerned with our pet. We didn’t even leave with an outrageous bill they were helpful in giving estimates and communicating before doing anything. This staff understands what our loved ones really mean to us. Come to find out my baby has a herniated disc. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I will highly recommend and will definitely be back for regular check ups. Tucker really appreciates your staff helping him today ❤️ and is soaking up all of this spoiling 😂
