Only self checkout was open, meanwhile workers standing around. Not a single person around to help unlock the tools, and when you ask for help they say they'll be right over then you stand around for 10 minutes. Every single tool is locked up, it's ridiculous, if you're gonna do that, assign workers to said areas!

I used to work at Home Depot in a different state. I used to always go to HD with my dad to buy stuff. In general it’s a great store.However, customer service has literally gone down the drain. There’s lack of employees and you can’t find anyone to help you.One thing that needs changing is better customer service skills. We used to get reprimanded for not acknowledging every customer. Whether you were able to assist or not.Don’t trust any recent reviews by someone who goes by “reality check”He is a known drug user and got fired for such.

I always enjoy going into Home Depot. They have so much to look at, and give you so many ideas to fix up your home, yard, etc. They also have really nice sales. The staff is always nice and friendly, and willing to help. I was in there today to get some charcoal. It wasnt where it normally is. I walked until I came across an employee. I came across Mr. Greg. He was nice enough to take me to the charcoal. He asked how many do I need, and was very kind enough to put it in my buggy. He asked if I was about to check out, and said that he would load it into my vehicle. I thank him for his great hospitality, and great customer service.

This review is based on an (ex) employee's perspective from working at the Home Depot in Cordele, GA.This store is just a small replica of any THD store. They told us employees (associates) that we need to focus on customer service, well that sounds good but they provide virtually no training, they just put you in front of a computer.They have a horrible turnover rate due to lack of training and finding someone that has customer service skills or someone who has an easily trainable natural ability, is not easy.Heck, the assistant store managers are noticably lacking in customer service ability and most of them , especially the Store manager, are condescending jerk offs.Almost all of the employees that have been there for a few years actually loath the customers. On top of that, the store manager would rather figure out ways to get rid of employees he doesn't like personally, even if that employee is or most certainly would be an asset to the company.I don't think this Home Depot deserves anybody's patronage, they prefer to play games on various levels resulting in terrible customer service and low morale amid most of the emploees !!To add insult to injury, I really liked working there, did my job well and had no complaints against me, but the store manager orchestrated a plan to get rid of me, initiated by a simple/believable lie.... irrational and devious.THIS HOME DEPOT DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR PATRONAGE OR YOUR RESPECT !!

Zero stars all the way around. Have taken off 3 separate times for this order and now again today and still no delivery. Now have to take a 4th day off on Monday because of the lack of customer care and service from this store. Spent over $3600 only to have the manager named Chance hang up on me today when I asked for his boss’ phone number and he said 800homedepot and hung up on me. Great customer service there. Will never shop a Home Depot again and will be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible this store has been to deal with. This is truely the worst experience I have ever had and I will be sure to pass the word.

The Cordele Home Depot has the friendliest, most helpful staff in all of southwest Georgia in my humble opinion. There is always service with a smile. Thanks for the help finding the kerosene guys! You are the best!!!!

Went shopping yesterday (9-1-23). All employees were beyond helpful, except when my husband and I were using self-checkout. There was a strawberry blonde kind of hefty employee girl with glasses who did not say hello or anything just watched us akwardly. Then she comes up when were almost done checking our items smirking in our face talking and asks, "Did y'all find everything you were looking for?" Like she was intimadating us. LOL. I mean, why am I almost done and you're asking me that? We dropped 300 bucks like pocket change at this store. Spent 250 last week. We both have good jobs, no need to steal!!!! I know she probably can't afford to shop like that, but I can! So may want to reconsider harrassing loyal customers.

I purchased a lawnmower online over $4000 got to the store to pick it up and there were severe damage to it. And it was the only one they have in stock so I had to purchase a different lawnmower which is not the issue. I asked if I could just do a swap in store so they didn’t have to wait for to five business days before $4000 to get to reply to my card. They assured me it’s no issue. Went into the store and it was completely opposite of what they said so I had to purchase the other lawnmower in and have over $8000 tied up with Home Depot. The customer service sucked and even the manager didn’t even act like he care. Home Depot as a company might be well but the Cordele Georgia Home Depot is the worst I’ve ever seen

ZERO ⭐. The delivery came on time. The washing machine was out the box. It was nasty dirty. Black colored marks all around. Dirty inside and out. I told the truck man I wasn't going to accept and recieve it, and to put back on truck. He didn't do it and drove off. I had to call Home depot about it. I don't want another one give me my money back. Now they say I have to wait 2 more weeks for them to come pick up the machine and wait till it gets to the warehouse so I can get my money back. Incredible!! All the truck driver had to do was listen. Could have been done with no wait.!!

I stopped in this day to pick up a few items, in particular, a replacement hose for my shop vac. As usual I wound up getting a shopping basket full of stuff stuff that I didn't need until I got there. The store was well staffed this time and I was surprised at how helpful the people were when I asked about the hose ... they accompanied me to the aisle. When the battery finally started running low on my scooter I knew it was time to go. At the self check out line I was met by a very friendly young lady employee. She helped me check out and bag up my stuff and was very very helpful getting me checked out quickly since it was about to rain outside and I had to drive that slow scooter to my truck. I made it with enough time to spare to return the scooter to the store and plug it in for charging. The cloud burst came later. Friendly people are everywhere ... but I think home depot might have somewhat of a corner on the market.

Quick and friendly service. Ms. Willie Mae is the kindest associate I've encountered in a long time. Purchased online and had to drive from out of town to pick up but didn't have to wait long for item retrieval or loading. Back on the road in less than 15 mins. Great experience!

This Home Depot is the best. I literally take the hour drive away from Warner Robins to go to this location, because the selection is much better. I change locks and add automated cameras, locks, tstats, etc to investment properties and this Home Depot is the only one around me that has literally everything I need. Always get plenty of help whenever needed, and when I do have a home project on one of our properties in the Pan Handle, I prefer this location over the location in Destin or Panama City.

Home Depot has really stepped it up. they have like some type of internship program going on everybody knows where everything is they have more staff which keeps everyone else accountable I think they've done a great job over the last 6 months as far as customer service and employee knowledge is concerned. I gave this place 2 stars because of the employees and lost prevention. Who wants to go to a store and basically be watch and made feel uncomfortable when all your doing is trying to by some nails are wood. I understand they have had a big problem with people running out the store but I've been coming for years and never have tried to steal. So I think you should be able to give me a break and not peek threw the isle walls at me.

Just went to Home Depot in Cordele. They REFUSED to give my husband his military discount because he doesn't have the app on his phone. Everyone doesn't have smart phones. Some have flip phones that don't support these apps. So I guess we will start doing business with Lowes that not only gives him a discount but has veterans parking!!

Very poor attitude. Went Christmas tree shopping the week before Christmas. They had plenty of trees. They were among the highest prices of the season. Trees did not reach the height they were labelled either.. Most were browning or damaged or dropping their needles. I inquired if they had any discount available on the damaged tree. They sent some 29 year old out with a disrespectful attitude and said that the trees were in good shape and that "under no circumstances were they to offer any discount on any Christmas tree". I found a better tree for 25.00 at Walmart on discount that was fresher than the 90.00 tree at h.d.

The five stars are for the Home Depot in Warner Robins. The young who works in the tile department was very good at his job unlike the ones in the other two we visited that day. We started off in Albany, we couldn't get any help until I went in search of someone and that person had to call someone else to that department. When the employee arrived he was no help whatsoever. He wasn't knowable about the product and we were advised that the one in Cordele, Ga. had what we were looking, so off we go to Cordele which is about 30 to 40 miles away. Upon arriving after searching for help, this employee couldn't find the product which his inventory machine says they had. He then contacted Warner Robins and advised us they did have the product. I ask that he asked them to set it aside for us because we were on the way. Upon arriving the two people who were sitting in the Tile area ignored our present, but we did see the tile in a cart with a note. We took the cart and as we were walking around the young man this story originally started with stopped us asking who we were because that tile was reserved for someone else. After a brief conversation with him he told us that he wasn't going to let that tile go because s customer from Cordele was on their way to get it and it was the last the had. I call this dedication to both the customer and his job.
