Feb 2023: about the same as a year ago, sometimes you can get what you need and sometimes you can't, there's usually only 1 register open and self-checkout is not working. The app usually is wrong about what is in stock here.Feb 2022 update: Things aren't always well-stocked here anymore, but I think they may just not have enough employees. This is now a DG home store, with a large selection of cute and affordable home decor.OP: This store is always neat, clean, and well-stocked, and is like a mini-Wal-Mart. There is a surprising variety of merchandise here. It's more expensive, but perfect for getting a few things, and especially useful in emergencies like when you need OTC medicines. We've also gotten everything from all the ingredients for grilling out for supper to lawn care tools, a night light, swim diapers, sunscreen, and birthday gifts and cards. All the food we've bought has been fresh and good quality like you'd get from a grocery store. Love when they have deals on cute home goods like oversized mugs and decorative wire baskets. This is our go-to spot for a late-night sweet tooth, especially now that they're open until 11 pm.Nice folks working here, always friendly. There is usually 0 to 5 minute wait to check out, which seems to be the norm for Dollar Generals.If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up! Thanks!

Wow… I was passing through Comer back to Elberton and needed some supplies so I stopped in. I gathered my items and proceeded to checkout. The cashier and the gentleman in front of me carried on a 10 minute conversation while I stood there patiently. When I finally got to the register and placed my items down the cashier doesn’t acknowledge my presence and continues put stickers on a makeup packet. After she’s done she walks off to the back and starts hanging up products. So now I’m standing there looking at her look at me and she never comes back. So I just walked out. Terrible…..absolutely terrible.

Nice store with friendly people workings in it. Had a lot to of stuff more than I expected from being out if town and just passing through. Store was nice and organized. Associates was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. Nice small town charm. The ice cream was delicious and fresh.

Compared to many Dollar General Stores this one is very neat and clean. The staff is always super friendly and also always working which is very nice to see. It's why the store looks the way it does. As a customer it is nice to see hop somewhere that the employees take pride in and keep looking presentable!

I love this Dollar General! Not only do you get great prices, clean, organized store, the Assistant Manager and Manager are always available to help you with anything during your visit. Plus, they smile and make you feel welcomed anytime you go in there. They practice safe Covid guidelines. And you can always walk out with a bargain!

Of all Dollar General this one seems to have it together. The employees are nice and the store appears clean, organized and full. But the manager there is kind of mean. Like maybe she might need a vacation right now. Otherwise I would say this is a good place to pick things up.

We don't live far from this Dollar General so we visit pretty often. Store is always clean and in order, the friendly sweet faces are the best thing about this DG!! Always smiling welcoming faces!!

I can say that most times they have good customer service and the store is not cluttered with boxes in the aisle, but that's about it. I can only find about 30% of what's on my list, so the trip to the store is pointless because I have to find the other 70% elsewhere.

The employees at this store are always friendly and helpful. It is fairly clean and they keep the shelves stocked. My only complaint is they never have more then one register open and it's always a busy store it seems.

As one of the only places around, its nice that it's pretty well stocked with the basics. The seasonal section is large and makes finding items you wouldn't normally consider "seasonal" (like citronella candles, as it's near a campground) complicated.

This DG has a good selection of items compared to other DG locations. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful in this store. The wait time to check out is often very long around 5 p.m. during the week, but the cashiers do their best to keep up with the traffic flow in the store.

The store needs to be cleaned and the aisles should be accessible. It's always rolltainers sitting on the aisles blocking the merchandise. The shelves are empty because the products are still on the rolltainers instead of the shelves. Management really needs to take a course on how to treat their customers better. The manager's usually doesn't even speak to customers when they walk in or when checking out. I'm almost to the point of no longer shopping at any Dollar General. These above issues really need to be addressed and fixed before more customers stop shopping at Dollar General.

Comer DG is always good. The people are always friendly and helpful.I've shopped at the Lexington DG until today when I went in for cat food, my favorite flavored water, personal needs but asked to use the rest room first but was lied to as at most stores and gas stations in Lexington. "It's out of order." I asked one lady... What do you use? She said, and I quote, "Oh, I don't use the bathroom!" I said, You DON'T?? I said, yeah, I believe you. But I'm not really that stupid. So, to sum it up, Lexington store employees are liars. Just my review. 🙂

I sure do wish there was one close to where I'm living now. They even sell frozen foods and the steaks are 100 % beef. Family Dollar can't even compare to Dollar General!!!
