A Mixed Holiday Shopping Experience at WalmartI recently visited my local Walmart to kickstart my holiday shopping, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. Let's dive into the details.First and foremost, I was excited to explore their Christmas selection, and I must say, it did not disappoint. Walmart had an impressive array of festive decorations, lights, and ornaments. What caught my eye this year were the many new Grinch-themed items. If you're a fan of the Grinch, you'll be in heaven. From Grinch-themed stockings to ornaments and even Grinch-patterned wrapping paper, it's a Whoville wonderland. The variety of holiday items available is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit.However, the shopping experience had its drawbacks. The staff seemed to be a 50/50 mix of helpful and those who appeared disengaged, possibly just there for a paycheck. While some employees went above and beyond to assist customers and answer questions about the holiday products, others seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing assistance.One noticeable downside was the clutter of stocking carts and other items strewn about the store. It made navigating the aisles a bit challenging and prevented an easy shopping experience. I hope Walmart can address this issue to ensure a smoother shopping process during the busy holiday season.In summary, Walmart offers a fantastic selection of Christmas and Grinch-themed items that will please holiday enthusiasts. However, the inconsistency in staff assistance and the cluttered store layout can be a downside. With a bit of improvement in these areas, Walmart could make holiday shopping even more enjoyable for its customers.

This Walmart Supercenter is always so clean and aisles are wide. Produce always looks fresh. Only thing we have a hard time finding ground turkey. Most of the time they are out. We always go to check out with a cashier there. We don't like self checkout at all.

It’s pretty much self checkout or nothing at this point maybe two lines open with employees running them mean while the Walmart shoppers are in every isle filling online orders and in the way of the customers they even seem to claim right of way playing chicken with those with carts. Sometimes saving means losing also

Walmart pickup service has really declined lately. Most of the employees are very helpful but it seems like they are very understaffed. There’s usually at least 1 mistake on my order (ie I ordered 1 milk but I’m given 4) and/or the wait time is extremely long. Yesterday there were 15 cars waiting and no one was coming out with orders. No one answers the phone and the Walmart help chat said they couldn’t do anything to help and to go on the store and speak to the manager. Once I did, she sent out a bunch of employees to help.

Title: Disappointing Experience Across the BoardI usually don't write reviews, but after several visits, I feel compelled to share my experiences at the Walmart Supercenter. It's become increasingly difficult to find any staff available for assistance when needed. This has been a consistent issue, making shopping here a challenge, especially when looking for specific items or needing help with products.Furthermore, the store seems to struggle significantly with inventory management. Many items are frequently out of stock, which I've been told is due to not adjusting inventory levels appropriately. This is frustrating and results in wasted trips when you can't find what you need.Another issue is the grocery pickup service. While it's a useful service for many, the employees doing the shopping occupy entire aisles and rarely make room for in-store shoppers. This lack of consideration makes navigating the store more cumbersome than it needs to be.On top of these operational issues, prices on numerous items have increased, while the quality of products seems to have declined. For example, the floral section was particularly disappointing this Easter, offering nothing but wilting and drooping bouquets. It was disheartening to see, especially when looking for something special for the occasion.Even more frustrating was the change in their bakery section. The price of their French bread decreased to $1, which initially seemed like a good deal until I realized the loaves had been made smaller. It's disheartening to see these kinds of changes, where the value offered to the customer decreases.Overall, my experiences at the Walmart Supercenter have been increasingly unsatisfactory. From the lack of available staff and poor stock management to the decline in product quality and consideration for in-store shoppers, it's clear there are multiple areas in need of improvement. I hope these issues can be addressed for a better shopping experience in the future.

Pretty overall good visit to Walmart, things were reasonably priced and not a real long wait time to check out. They have a good selection of things my mom enjoyed our visit I would recommend for a quick stop in at your local Walmart

Boyfriend needed a changing room. No employees around, so I found one stocking. She said that wasn’t her department and to go to customer service. So I did. No one was there and a cashier lady said they were closed. So I asked her to unlock the changing rooms because she wasn’t doing anything but staring. She said I needed to ask the person in that department. So I finally found her and she stank faced me and told me they were closed. At 7-8o clock. This place is lazy. It smells bad all throughout it. Horrible service. Place is messy. Waste of time. Disgusting disgusting disgusting. Needs new management and all around new workers. Stop giving jobs to lazy people.

Cheap prices, of course...it's Walmart 😁. Store was reasonably clean. The personal shoppers seem to think they are more important than in-store customers and will block your path, will not move when you say "excuse me" etc. Someone needs to improve customer service, otherwise as expected.

For the last month or so, they don't have the items I need. Stayfree overnight and equate brand Alka seltzer. I went to 4 different Walmart. Some of us have disabilities that makes it hard to stand in the 1, sometimes 2 lanes open for checkout forever. They need to get rid of some of the self checkout and open more lanes up. I'm not using self checkout with a buggy full of groceries. I'm getting close to not shopping at Wal-Mart ever again.

This is a clean Walmart. The associates are very nice and helpful. One lady in particular was in the kid apparel section on Christmas Eve morning. I wish I had gotten her name. She was so nice and her customer service was on point.

What a zoo! Went to pick up my order had to park 3 times before I could get to the right pick up lot. Very poorly marked! Nearly all the pick up spots are reserved for Black Friday and are not marked as such. After waiting 10 min and employee came out to tell me to move to a completely different lot! Then I got there and the app saidy order had already been picked up! Called the number several times no one answers and mailbox is full. Had to flag down an employee who had me pull up into the fire lane so that je could finally get my order. I refuse to go inside this Walmart because it's always trashed and customer service is non existent. My experience today was no different. Won't be ordering from Walmart ever again!

I’m at the electronics department buying my son Christmas gifts I had interaction with 3 employees no one was helpful. One said it wasn’t her area! The one at the register said it wasn’t her area to assist me. She didn’t get on her walkie talkie to call anyone. I then call call the store an employee I’m looking at answered the phone she couldn’t help me either. I understand it’s the holidays if you don’t want to work quit!

I had to rush into Walmart and grab dog food 10 minutes before they close at 11PM after I entered the employees came over the speaker letting customers know it was closing time. I’ve only been to this Walmart one time before and wasn’t sure where dog food was so I asked an employee and she stated that I couldn’t buy any dog food because they were closed… I didn’t ask if they were closed I asked where dog food was at in the store she was very rude and unprofessional. I then asked a different employee and she told me where it was, I then rushed to grab dog food and rushed to the front of the store to cash out. I barley made it in time to check out and pay for my item before they closed the line and turned the other customers that had already been shopping away from the check out. I think it’s ridiculous that they wouldn’t let the customers that were already in the store shopping pay for their items. Yes they may have closed at 11 so lock the doors and don’t allow anyone else in the building but atleast let the ones that were in before closing time that already had a buggy full check out and go home!

I ordered two bikes and when they were brought out, one was the wrong bike. The young man who brought it out , Trey could tell I was aggravated, but he was very kind and told me “ I got you,” Im going to go look for the bike. He went outside and found a bike like I ordered, “the last one”and he was in the rain doing it. He found the bike and brought it out to us. He had a pleasant attitude and showed us respect. Very nice young man!!!

Did a curbside order of over $250 and it was delivered to the wrong Person my app was showing. I waited over 2 hours to get any sort of resolution or be helped. I tried calling the number, no one answered. When asking to speak to a manager no one seemed to know what to do. A lady said she would go check on my order and after 50 minutes of her going inside go look, I finally went back in to check. After another 30 minutes, finally got a manager. They seemed annoyed by the whole process. 3 hours after my order tkme, they found my order. No one apologized whatsoever for anything. They told me to go get a cart and they put it in there and I walked across the other end of the parking lot to load my car myself in the rain. Never seen service so horrible

I have tried curbside pickup a few times at this location, and they are the worst. They hardly ever answer the phone. I ended up canceling my orders each time they didn't answer. It's like hit or miss at Walmart on Whittlesey. They just built a new Publix by us here at Old Town, so I will opt to pay the higher prices for better service.

Much better pick up now that they built a new area for customers and increased parking spaces. Self checkout inside is now a plus. However, at times, that line is backed up quite a bit, and there is little flexibility if you actually have a shopping cart.

Ahhhh Wal Mart-what can I say that hasn’t already been said? The store (at least late at night) is a mess, the restrooms are a mess, it looks as though the grocery and pharmacy experienced a tornado. The employees present in the store may or may not be of assistance and may or may not know where items can be found. The only checkout lanes open late at night are the self checkout lanes-however this allows for a fairly smooth checkout experience. Positive-the only 24 hour grocery and market in town, when the family is sick with the flu and some emergency Theraflu, paper towels and soda is needed, I know I can find it here. That being said-what’s up with the guy in the leopard skin cape running up and down the aisles, the emaciated gentleman pulling an equally emaciated chihuahua (dog dressed as Santa!) in a red wagon through the aisles? One wonders if this store should employ it’s own security (like Target, or Dirt Cheap, or any of the local markets). But it’s a free country I suppose.

Lines and traffic are why I’m giving this location 2 stars. Granted I imagine the shopping is better suited for bulk purchases. Meanwhile, 3 o’clock on a Tuesday afternoon is not the time for a single purchase. I had imagined there would be many open registers at this super center but only 2 human checkouts were open with lines spilling into the clothing section of the store. The express checkout was much worse even with at least 12 apparently working kiosks to self checkout. This line was likely 30+ carts deep and I decided my single purchase could wait another time and day.

No answer on the pickup number. I've called about 40 times but the number just rings and eventually gets sent to a full voicemail.Edit: it took just over an hour to get my order, it came out in a trashcan and has oil over all the bags. To add insult to injury the four piece grill set I ordered is missing part of it (very obviously and I would have noticed had it not been in the bottom of the trashcan.

I had a pick up order. I was parked across from Sam’s club. There were no markers saying not to park here because it wasn’t being used. I sat and checked in. My app told me that my order had been picked up when I was still sitting in my spot. It wasn’t until I called that I was told they weren’t using the new spots yet. There were others cars pulling in to pick up orders. Very unorganized
