I've been to this location twice and both times customer service was very lacking or non-existent. I came to make a big purchase on a zero turn mower for the second time but couldn't get my questions answered or the help I needed and I waited a long while. So I went to Lowe's nearby and they were so much more helpful. I actually did purchased a toro zero turn mower that week because others to the time to give good customer service. I did not purchase from Home Depot in Columbus. And I will not be back to this location because there is an obvious issue.

I’m too upset to be positive or polite! I’ve called Home Depot no less than six times since this past Saturday about an order mixup on their part. My pickup order was delivered and they told me that my delivery order had been delivered but it clearly was not! Six foot long pieces of lattice don’t blend into the driveway inconspicuously.I spoke to no less than two people on Saturday who assured me that my order would be delivered on Monday. It was not. I was promised that it would come Tuesday, after speaking with someone on on Monday at local Home Depot. I got a text it was on its way, followed by one that said order could not be delivered.I called again, took forever for anyone to pickup phone, was put on hold, several times, I was told it would be here Wednesday, which I thought would be fine.Then I get a text saying my topsoil ( which was my pickup order that they delivered) would arrive on Wednesday.So I called again. Needless to say, phone rings forever, you get put on hold, passed around to another person who finally gets on phone and after explaining that the wrong order was going to be delivered, I’m told it will now be Saturday!I’m not happy, I told them that was unacceptable and they put me on hold again.I hung up!I’m tired of being treated like a pest or a bother.Why can’t people just do their job properly?I’m not sure right now I will ever shop there again, no one there seems to care about their customers.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Had several employees offer to help me find things if needed. They asked how we were. Well stocked store from what I could tell. Would recommend!

Was there for 4 hours going thru wood to find top choice for hand rails on wrap around porch. The two associates were there the whole time assisting me. Excellent customer service. 100 times better than the HD in Phenix City

Male cashier in gardening waited a long time before calling someone to help pull product. No one ever came. Had to pull 180+ pounds of fertilizer myself wearing high heels and load it myself. At the time of my purchase, there were NOT any other customers around and the fertilizer was not far from the register. I will NEVER shop at this location again. I should not have to lift heavy stuff to purchase.

The Homedepot on Sowega Drive in Columbus, Ga is one of my favorite stores for tools, rental equipment,Vinyl flooring selections, bathroom remodeling supplies, trees and shrubs. The customer service with the staff has always been excelent. Instock has never been an issue. I have also used their online orders and to car delivery. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this store. I have also have used them to install flooring in my bedroom and closest and had a great experience with the gentleman that was sent to my home.

The Store #136 in Columbus has got to be the worst Home Depot I’ve had the displeasure of shopping. I noticed when I walk passed of their associates, they never greet or say hello to me, but it probably is true for everyone? The biggest problem I have with the store is many of the employees don’t have knowledge about the products they’re selling. Which brings me to the checkout…while they do have Self Checkout, the Self Checkout lane or Contractors Checkout will NOT email my receipt, so you must Checkout at the Service Center Desk, which is extremely inconvenient, because their aren’t enough associates to service the desk, which is the only way to get the email receipt that I require. Now, here’s the crazy thing, Lowe’s provides email receipts at ALL Checkout locations.

Recently (Mar, 2024) I was in need of paint and plumbing items. An Employee, Will, asked if I needed help. Boy, did i! He was from the paint section and was extremely helpful. Not only did he answer my questions, help me in my selections, and patiently explained everything, but he went to the plumbing section and help me find the items I needed. This young man was most exceptional in manners and knowledge and knowing when to say I don't know. He even helped me get my merchandise to the cashier. The young lady who helped me, I have forgotten her name, was also exceptional. She was polite, found someone to help me load my car, and made the entire visit a wonderful experience. These two young people are to be commended. Thanks to both of them..Some very helpful people; was looking for N95 masks. Very patient and helpful employee did not just direct me but took time to show me the items and answer questions. Checkout sometimes involves waiting but they have self- service checkout too.

Customers fighting over TVs there's enough TVs in there with different sports channels if they don't like what's on the sports channel they can move their chair and look at what they want they don't have to make the waitress change the whole screen to watch their sports channel that inconveniences like six tables of people enjoying a game

I'm very disappointed in the condition of the store and parking lot. Buggies and heavy carts are in disrepair and the parking lot is full of carts. Employees are walking around with no sense of urgency. The store compared to 5 years ago has certainly gone down hill.HD you need a new manager.

Messy, disheveled and disorganized. This is not necessarily a covid problem. It's been like this. The bolt and screw aisle is a joke, good luck finding three matching bolts. Haven't bought much plumbing but I'm willing to bet it's the same story. The small parts storage has been reduced to just a couple bins, where other stores have dozens. The lumber yard is chronically understocked. Before the pandemic I had multiple sheets of plywood cut and there was often a line as the person running the saw seemed to be learning as he went. Note this is not a critique of the staff but rather the management that let the staff on the saw without proper training.Post pandemic there are also a number of problems, besides the fact that no one in the store seems to care about wearing masks or social distancing. Mainly there aren't staff retrieving lumber carts to stage in the lumber area. Many carts are prestaged online orders which clog aisles. The rest litter the parking lot, and because of the restricted entrances and exits, if you want a lumber cart you have to retrieve it and from one side of the lot, walk it to the other side of the lot, then back to the other side of the store. There are many other minor aggravations, not all of them the fault of the store but all frustrating.I know, first world problems, but all of it adds up to making me dread having to go to my favorite store.Edit: how is your store still such a mess. Is 9am really the best time to be restocking? Really?

I ordered a custom front door on 10/25, I've been checking texts and emails waiting for it to be delivered to the store. It was due to be delivered in 2 weeks. Today, Nov 27th I went into Home depot to check on my order, after calling and getting no answer. My door arrived at the store on the 15th and I have not been notified yet. No one knew who was responsible for letting customers know when their order comes in.Although when I spend $5. with no assistance, I'm expected to fill out a survey telling you how good you are doing.Something is definitely missing!Judith Contois

I ordered an Electric smoker online, but it’s being delivered from the Columbus, ga location. The delivery was pushed back due to them not have assemblers at the time before Christmas, which is understandable. The delivery was pushed for 12/27. It’s 12/28 and my delivery is being pushed again this being the third time for the 30th. I’m not happy about this I just want it delivered. This location needs to hire more assemblers or train their people to do more so customer experiences can be better.

Ordered a new door. To say it was packed carefully to avoid damage is an understatement. The picture shows a door protected by several other doors. The crew at Home Depot went to work to remove the excess material and made my job significantly easier. Thanks folks!!

I went to Home Depot twice brought 20 bags of sand rocks, and you can never find a staff to help you out on the checkout. They don’t offer you for help at the parking lot. You see the staff walking around they don’t come near you and ask if you need help, I’m professional

You can never find someone who works here to help you out … I’m taking my business to Lowe’s. I have people there in Isles to help you. If you need to ask questions, Home Depot, you suck never have nobody there to answer your questions takes forever to find somebody to help you to do something and then when you do ask somebody to do something I like they busy, y’all store sucks

They say they will deliver on a certain day then don't. Reschedule a few days later then they don't saying they can't reach their on warehouse. Then say it will be another week. I will make sure everyone I know hears how we have been treated. Home Depot Columbus, Ga.

When you come inside everyone is friendly but whoever was at the front desk 10/17/23 and was answering phones around 2:40-3:00pm was VERY VERY RUDE. I have been trying to talk to a manager since but no one has called me so now I have to go up there. HOPEFULLY ITS RESOLVED SINCE STORE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Speaking of new management, I went in there maybe a week ago to get a drill and they were clearly in stock at the top, instead of the manager closing down the aisle and getting it for me, the new manager told me to come back when there’s someone to help me… when two of my friends work there said it’s three guys that can operate the lift and all she had to do was called them, then she put her finger up like girl you don’t do that to a customer, it’s only a few employees there really care and show hospitality.

Worst customer service ever. If you call they will put you on hold then hangup. Call again, and they will answer questions curtly and then hang up without following up. 50/50 shot if I get an associate who knows anything about what they're talking about. What happened to home depot?

Great home depot store. This store is huge store. Very clean. Most employees are very helpful and knowledgable except for one young employee who walk right by an elderly man and women struggling to load plywood on a cart. When asked for help he just walked off. A supervisor was notified and she immediately took what I felt was appropriate action. One bad apple can ruin a tree but when picked off and tossed by another apple in the tree you will find a tree that not only survives but grows.

I have stood in line to pick up the bathroom light I ordered online. I am second in line and I have been here for 20 minutes. Workers from behind the customer service desk at least 3 have just walked off! The customer service/order pick up staff are just plain rude!

Our go-to cabinet person!Dennis with plumbing was very helpful today and went out of his way looking for a piece we needed to complete the project.The pro desk, paint, flooring, and customer service have been great to work with, too! Great attitudes!
