This place is under new ownership, which is why we ignored the previous bad reviews. Although the guys were nice, their quality of work and communication was sub par. Took over 4 hours for original install. It was not installed correctly, very sloppy. Left a mess in the bathroom. They came back out to just tell me they would come back 4 days later to fix it (a week has gone by originally). They “fix” the problem. 2 days later my shower door won’t open and the glass was falling out of the bracket in the wall, so couldn’t use shower at all, for fear it would chip the glass. 2 weeks after original install, it is “fixed”. Fingers crossed it worked. I’m bummed about the experience here. The glass itself is beautiful. However the professionalism, punctuality, and quality lacks.Service: Glass installation

they came to me and replaced a window part. The guys were fast and friendly. They didn't clean the outside glass up. luckily i saw it before the kids and pets did so they wouldn't cut themselves. Overall great and great price compared to a few others

This company did a bay window installation for my house and I can only say is OUTSTANDING! They actually took additional steps to insure I was very satisfied. Their service was so great I am using them again to do a double sliding door. No doubt in my mind this is the company I will contact first for any Window installation. The only thing I would say negative is the time of arrival of product. Which they let you know ahead of time that it may take a few weeks to arrive. But it was worth the wait for me. Currently awaiting my sliding glass doors to arrive. Will let you know how that turns out.

So puzzled by my experience with this place... Called and made an appointment for an estimate to have our window repaired. They didn't have much availability the week I called, so I had to make an appointment a week in advance. No problem. They seemed interested in the work, and so I was happy to wait. But then it got weird. The morning of the scheduled estimate nobody showed up. Nobody called. After waiting 4 hours, I called the company back -- twice. Each time, instead of the company receptionist I got when I first made the appointment, my call was rolled over to a voicemail with no identifying information. I left a message both times detailing the situation, and was starting to wonder if I was suddenly reaching someone's personal cell phone instead of a business. Finally I received a call back from Glass Guru later that afternoon, but I didn't make it to the phone in time, and very strangely no message was left for me explaining their failure to show. I just gave up, and called LTR -- they sent a very polite, professional technician out that same evening to give an estimate. Not sure what's going on with Glass Guru, but after reading the other reviews, I guess I'm not alone in this experience of the company sometimes losing all interest in your business once you make an appointment. They do have some excellent reviews, so I'm sure the work is very competently done when they actually show up...however, it seems like a roll of the dice as to whether you're selected for that privilege. It's strange that after repeated reviews concerning this same issue, the owner has not been concerned enough to make some changes to protect his business.

All I have to say is this company is the BEST! From start to finish, I was impressed with everyone's professionalism! Customer service was very friendly and the installers were always on time, if not early. I got price quotes from several companies and they were by far the most economical and they did a terrific job! I have had them redo all three bathrooms and exterior windows and I am ecstatic with the end result. I highly recommend!!!

I can't speak to the work that they do. We sent them photos at their request of the work we needed done. They said they would like to send someone out to look in person and give a free estimate so we gladly set that up. Nobody ever showed up for the appointment. We called twice and emailed them once and never heard back from them. We were not left with a good impression of this company, it's surprising they stay open if this is their normal way of treating customers.

Wish I could give NEGATIVE stars! It's been 3 months since a window in our house was supposed to be replaced (that we closed on the house 3 months ago and it was supposed to be replaced in September). Twice it was the wrong window and finally I get a call in mid December to get the correct window replaced and get a call 10 minutes before our appointment saying they can't because of the rain, which it is light rain and the window that needs to be replaced is in a covered area so it shouldn't matter. Well of course I find out yet AGAIN they are trying to replace the wrong window. Of course on top of that they say even though I'm the owner of the house now, the one that sold the house is the one they have to talk to because he is the one that paid for it. Well that is great, but he doesn't live here and the least you could do is have someone come out to measure the correct window and order the correct window! If I was paying for it I would contract a different company! Dont waste your time or money! They are also getting reported to the BBB!UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL THAT WAS POSTED OVER 4 MONTHS AGO: Appointments were set up and they tried to get more money out of it and the work is still not completed, even though it was paid for and supposed to be completed in October 2019! No call backs either, just set up appointments through emails and have them never show!!!!DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

Gary and the Glass Guru team has helped our business out a ton. I've had them come out at least 4 times and each time they have been fantastic. They are professional, communicate clearly and always get the job done. They fixed a window, 2 doors and put mirrors up for us. We could not be more pleased! Keep up the great work.

Scheduled installation of storm doors they failed to show up. Had to call multiple times to reach anyone in the office, once I reached someone they said they would find out an estimated arrival time and call me back. Never called back so I had to start calling again. Asked for a manager to call me, never recieved a call. Bottom line they didn't keep a scheduled appointment and could care less that their customer had to miss work waiting on them. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Would not recommend them.

Placed an order for a replacement window and painted and full. I have called 3 times and left messages wanting to know when I can expect the installation. Only get a voicemail every time and no one has called me back yet.I cannot judge the quality of the work yet but will update.

Setup an estimate through Home Advisor, guy came to my house and gave me an estimate. They later contacted me to setup an appointment for installation. Day of installation nobody shows up. I call several times and nobody picks up. Later that afternoon they call and let me know they were too busy.Update: 5/18Owner sent me a text message earlier this week apologizing for the no-show. Changed from 1 star to 2 star for atleast attempting to make things right. He did still want the job, but by now I went ahead and fixed it myself. Thanks anyway.

Absolutely the worst experience, I have ever had with a company. They have scheduled 4 appointments and not shown or called on any one of them. The only way to get them answer their phone is call from a different number. When you get them they promise to call back but never do. Work was paid to be done, but nothing. In my opinion that is theft. Buyers beware!

They did excellent work on my replacement glass for my storm door back in April 2018; and just recently within 20 minutes replaced my Unit Guidons Display case damaged plexi-glass with glass. I had these "experts" repair my porch. They did a great job besides not waterproofing (painting) the slats that hold on the screen.I spent a lot of money to repair my porch that will not be worth a darn in a year. If I was told that not treating them was normal, i would have painted the slats before hand. Now i have to climb up two stories and deal with it.spend your money on someone that will pay attention to details.

We came in to work Monday morning to find a broken window in the front of our business. Not how we wanted to start our week! I called The Glass Guru after finding them on Google. Trista answered the phone. She was super helpful and polite and said someone would be over this morning to check it out, give us an estimate. Within an hour, Steve came by gave us a price and told us that he would have someone over to replace our window around lunchtime. As promised, someone was here around lunchtime to repair the window. Everyone was professional and courteous from the initial phone call to the time the installer left. We highly recommend The Glass Guru to any of our business associates or friends for any glass repair/replacement needs.

Took a door off a 75 year old built in china cabinet that had a broken pane of glass. It was repaired in a couple of hours and looks like it did before it was broken. Great job, quick and very reasonable.

I contacted glass guru months ago about replacing a glass in a sliding glass door a few days ago I noticed the glass separating from what holds it in place it took days for anyone to come look at it I called multiple times and received attitude and kickback regarding my urgency of my request to have it looked it once someone finally did come out they did a sloppy job by just placing caulking around the glass it looks terribleNita

First appointment they bring the wrong size windows. Second appointment 6 weeks later, a no show. Office finally answered phone and promised to call me right back as to when they would be here. No call back and no one answers the phone now. Would not recommend this place. I have used Window World in the past and could kick myself for trying these unprofessional people . Appears to be a scam
