I don’t know where to begin. Today I brought my dogs for their trial to see if they would be ok to be boarded here over thanksgiving. I left my dogs there and had a bad feeling until I picked them back up. Unfortunately that feeling was well deserved after getting my dog home and looking him over.The person who checked me in talked to me like I didn’t know anything about my own animals or how to care for animals period. This not only happened when I dropped off my dogs but when I picked them up as well.I also didn’t feel like I could get a word in to explain who my dog is and why he acts a certain way sometimes. Telling me to go home and work with him and bring back calming meds with me so he isn’t a handful for the employees was rude.I’m also upset because I only asked for one dog to have his nails trimmed not both. So I felt I was ripped off money wise for a service I didn’t ask for with one of the dogs.Now to the reason why I will not be keeping my reservation for thanksgiving. I don’t know when or how it happened but when I got my dog in the car to go home I noticed bruising around one of their eyes.I’m upset that I trusted this place with my dogs. Between being spoken down to and my dog having bruising I was very unsatisfied with this place. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Our little dog has never looked better.She has been to other groomers here and in north carolina and Brenda is by far the best groomer period.Glad we have such quality people in Columbus.

Our family has taken our yorkie poo, Pepper, to Rock Star for several years now. We have her groomed every 2-3 months and boarded once or twice a year. Brenda and her staff are wonderful at what they do. We are always very pleased at how Pepper looks and feels and know she’s in good hands when we go out of town. We live in Salem but Rock Star is worth the drive!

Brenda does such an amazing job with my pup! On my last visit, she suggested shaving to reduce the amount of shedding. I was worried as it was his first time, but she has a magic touch and I trust she can tame any dog. His coat looks smooth and I already notice the reduction in shedding. She is always responsive, accommodating, and personable.I highly recommend for any grooming or boarding needs!Regarding parking- I noticed some reviews mentioning having to walk around to the front entrance. However, it’s a lot shorter than the distance from your car to Publix, so I don’t see how that is a problem. Don’t you walk your dog(s)?

I was nervous about moving out of state bc I had an excellent groomer where I was. My former groomer gave me notes about how she grooms my pup & I shared it with this groomer. When I picked up my fur baby, she was tightened up, her cut looked great & she smelled like an angel! She has an extra skip in her step & knows she looks fly. We’re definitely going to return.

This was our first time here and Brenda was absolutely incredible. She told me everything she was going to do beforehand and double checked to see if my pup was okay with other dogs. She did an incredible job on my pup and he wasn’t terrified afterwards (which says a lot.)

I’ve been bringing my dog to rockstar paws for years and they have always done amazing! The best customer service, you can tell Brenda genuinely cares about the dogs. The best part is that my dog stays smelling great for weeks. We love the different bandanas she gets every time we come!

Fantastic customer service and dog wash - they fixed our 70lb baby right up. He’s lookin fresh af from the beauty salon.My main man usually doesn’t behave for groomers and does not get along with other dogs, but the women in the shop made me comfortable leaving him to get his nails dremeled and even tacked on that fly doggy cologne. Homeboy even got to sleep on the couch last night. Make an appt and see for yourself(Definitely not sponsored, just happy.... but feel free to toss some of those loyalty stars my way 😉)

They did great work on both of my dogs remy who is a beagle mix she smells the best she’s ever been and Ellie who is a shih tzu Schnauzer mix brenda did. an absolutely amazing job with her hair cut. I’m definitely planning on bringing my two back again.

Boarded two dogs for a few days. Picked them up, and they were happy and clean. The staff member I spoke with was nice and extremely helpful. It was a little pricey. Reason for the 4/5 stars - no daily text/photo updates.

Not only does this place not answer the phone as you can see in other reviews, they txt you. If you’re looking to have your dog transformed into a completely different looking dog, go here! All I asked for was a Yorkie cut face (which our puppy is a Shorkie), a trim, clean up around back end, trim nails, and get a few mats she had at her back end out. She told me this was a mini groom. When when our puppy was taken to be dropped off for the first and LAST time I might add, Brenda wasn’t pleasant, no friendly greeting, and just rude.When my husband picked her up and brought her back home her face was cut like a Shih tzu. Her hair was gapped up like a pair of weed wackers had gotten a hold of her and was fried and dry. I called and spoke with Brenda, which if she acted anything like she sounded on the phone, I would have walked out and went somewhere else! There was no talking to Brenda as I tried to speak, she would talk over me. When I did get to speak she said the mini groom doesn’t include a trim?? What? Ok, be more specific. They had to do a full groom- fine, but you could have called. Then they used thinning shears to cut our puppy’s hair, which she should have called before doing that too. Also, she said it depended on the pets grooming tolerance. Our puppy is only 12 wks old and this was the first time ever to the groomers. Once again, should have called.I can ASSURE you, our puppy will not be back to this place. I see why she doesn’t answer the phone and prefers to txt so much, Brenda likes hanging up on customers. Worst customer service I’ve ever had with an animal place. I would NOT trust these people with your animals. If they treat customers like that, I sure hate what my puppy went through today.

If it was possible to give 0 stars, I would. This place is HORRIBLE. My dog came back looking completely different. The cut she received is no where close to what was asked for. Brenda, the General Manager, was VERY rude, would not let a paying customer speak on the phone without being talked over, and will hang up in your face, and also acted like the dog wasn’t taken care of at home over a few matted spots, although we brush her every day at home, when she’s a PUPPY. This place has the worst customer service And grooming skills.

The grooming service I was using before closed due to the pandemic and I needed to find a new place for my Cocker Spaniel. The staff were super friendly and I was super impressed with how fast they groomed Teddy. Normally I would have to wait and pick him up around 5:30, but they were finished with him by lunch time. For me that was really convenient. When they brought him out, he looked so adorable!! Will definitely be coming back!!

I had a great experience at Rockstar Paws Pet Grooming and Boarding! You won’t be disappointed. Super cute pet shop with everything you’ll need for your pet. Well designed and very clean. Brenda is absolutely wonderful with dogs! She’s friendly, professional and will take great care of your pet. Romeo was comfortable around her and happy. He’s usually very feisty with the other groomers he’s been around. His hair is still super soft and untangled. I’ll definitely be taking him to her again! Haven’t boarded him yet, but I feel comfortable in leaving Romeo with her. BTW, the cookies smell delicious!

This is a great place to give your pet a nice spa day! They have some awesome additional items for sale that really make you want to spend more than you would like to treat your dog. The manager here is amazing and incredibly friendly! Shes been there for a while and I see why, she is really helpful, attentive and makes sure that your pets are comfortable with her prior to taking them into the back to be pampered and preened. Couldn't recommend them more!!!

This boarding facility is AMAZING! When I first walked in with my pooch I was happily greeted by a young lady who my Milo loves right off the bat! Tail wagging and all! To me that’s a great way to start... facility was very clean, smelled good, and is very well kept. I left my dog Milo there for 6 days and when I came back he didn’t want to leave! They even walked him out to my car for me! Definitely recommend to all!

I just returned from picking up my two pups after their first grooming here and I was so pleased! The shop itself is adorable and very clean. They did a fantastic job grooming them and decided that I will also be boarding my dogs there in the future!

The absolute best. I from the moment I entered the building, I could tell that my baby was in good hands. They gave me their recommendations and explained to me how to manage shedding between appointments. I was so happy with the service that I booked a future appointment that day. The staff are professional and knowledgeable! They did a great job grooming my talkative, anxious mini dachshunds! We look forward to going back for regular grooming sessions. The groomer cleaned up our long-hair dachshund wonderfully!

I don’t trust anyone else with my fur baby. Brenda does such a fantastic job with my Golden Retriever. I’m moving to Nashville in two weeks and I’m already planning on scheduling my grooming visits on my visits back into Columbus. I refuse to use anyone else. I highly recommend. Brenda will take great care of your fur baby! :)

Best groomer I have used. Phenomenal job and dogs smell so good for so long. I have a Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd that can be quirky. For the last two years they have always spent extra time to do such a great job deshedding, grooming, and making them happy during their stay. Haven't found a groomer that is even a close second. Love these guys.

Rockstar Paws is my number one choice in Columbus to take my babies for grooming! All three of my Schnauzers enjoy going and always come home smelling so good! From the moment you walk in you can tell by the atmosphere that it’s a very calm environment for your baby to be in, unlike some places which seem like pure chaos. Alex has always been more than helpful with questions or just simply making sure my babies felt comfortable. Ms. Brenda, the groomer, has been amazing at making all of my babies look fabulous and taking her time with my wild bunch, haha. Rockstar Paws is worth every penny spent for the quality and care your babies receive!😁

We have used rockstars quite a few times now and I really like it here, and so does Rex. It’s clean and always smells fresh. The dog are able to roam pretty much all day. I don’t really like boarding that has dog runs. She keep the number of dog she has at one time low so it makes for a more personal experience for the dog. My lab is very needy so this is perfect for our little guy.

I took my dog, Penny, in today for a nail trim and a bath.The owner of the salon was very nice and told me everything she was going to do in advance. Penny was finished in about an hour and came out happy and smelling good. The price was very reasonable too. I will definitely go back.
