Service Experience with Ups and Downs but Positive OverallAs a loyal Publix customer for the past six years, I have always valued the quality of service and the variety of products the store offers, which has kept me as a frequent and committed shopper. Generally, my experiences at Publix have been highlighted by the professionalism and dedication of its team.However, during my last visit, I encountered an experience that initially did not meet the high expectations I have come to develop. I was looking for a Native brand toothpaste, and after not finding it in the designated department, I turned to customer service. The interaction with the person in this area was less proactive than expected, merely suggesting I check a section I had already inspected without success. This moment was disheartening and made me feel as if my time and needs were being minimized.Despite this unpromising start, the situation took a positive turn thanks to my initiative in asking for further assistance. Upon expressing my desire to speak with a manager, two employees offered to help me directly. Their response was immediate and effective; they searched the storage area and, thanks to their efforts, found the product, which was being discontinued and had limited availability. This willingness to go the extra mile to meet a customer’s specific need, even in the face of potential complaint, is what I deeply value about Publix.This isolated incident does not change my overall perception of Publix and its team but does highlight the importance of ongoing training and commitment to excellence in customer service. I appreciate the generally exceptional attention and hope my experience contributes to reinforcing those standards for all customers.

Store is brand new. Hopefully it stays clean and organized going forward. No dedicated truck parking in the back. Only room to park along the curb. Hopefully pictures help with illustration.

Great service and great store! Atmosphere is good, people inside are nice and friendly and very helpful!! Shout out to the deli for helping me. They always place sheets between the cheese slices for when I'm in my truck!

Beautiful store, but the employees don't really know what they're doing. I waited at the Sub station for almost half an hour because they didn't have the meat I wanted and they were out of sliced tomatoes and cheese. They have a hard time keeping the shelved stocked too. Great store tho

Nice new location that is convenient for those living in the Midland area. It threw me off because the layout is very different from older locations. They have a lot of fresh prepared food options and a separate eating area upstairs. Good place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Great service as always.

I love that this location opened up in Midland. It's convenient to my home and I really enjoy the new format (lots of made to order options including sandwiches, chicken, and poke bowls), prepared food selections, and a combined produce and meat department section. They even gave an upstairs balcony area to sit and enjoy lunch if you want.

This Publix is new. Huge selection of everything. The store is huge. This Publix has everything you need. Also the pharmacy has a drive through. I highly recommend this Publix .

I love the way this one is built. Works ask u if you need help with anything. The have a upstairs food court. The cooked food is great. They have anything your looking for.

Omg this new publix is amazing. The deli does subs, soups, salads, sushi is fresh ramen. The they have a 2nd floor dinning hall with an outdoor balcony. 😲Still prefer to do my grocery shopping else where, their prices are way higher then others.

This is the newest Publix in Columbus, GA. I live going to this store. It is clean. You have a variety of options to choose from if you just want a simple snack or a whole meal. They have a nice guest area upstairs where you can sit and eat your meal. The associates are always friendly and want to help.

The Publix is nice and the staff are typically very nice, as they have been on previous visits. But January 14th I went to the deli and waited for a bit and finally when the woman acknowledged me I asked "is the ramen still open?" and she replied "no it closed at 8" while walking away. The time was 7:31 p.m. :( It bummed me out so much I didn't even buy groceries, just left. If she had been polite and explained it normally closes at 8 but we closed it early, or ran out or whatever I would be fine but the rudeness irked me. Maybe I'll give them another shot.

Don't bother ordering sandwiches ahead of time, they don't deliver on time and are regularly out of ingredients. It's actually easier to just order at the counter. I get the impression they are severely understaffed.

The setup is different inside. I go here for convenience.so far, customer service has been great. I like the seating if you decide you'd like to eat here.

This new location is very disappointing, not the Publix I’m used to. I’ve visited Publix locations in many different cities and states and this was my least favorite experience. I purchased a cake and the writing was disappointing, today I went to pick up a sub order I placed online, I picked up the sub, and an employee asked me the name that was in the sub. This is the first time that’s happened, usually I grab the sub and go about my day, and the sub was ready. So what was the reason to ask me the name that was on the sub? Some of the employees don’t want to be there and it’s very evident .Update: They said they had CPU. I’ve never heard of it but apparently they have to mark it off on an iPad after you get a sub. Overall, I will be going to another location because no thanks .

I love this new Publix! The store has many selections in every catagory. The facility is clean, instock, wonderful staff, plenty of parking, wheelchairs always available. Clean restrooms. Great customer service and they even delivery anything to your home. Even out here in Midland were we can't get anyone else to delivery any fast food. Pharmacy is excellent also

My fruit, bread and meats are always very fresh. Items are a little pricier than some other stores in the area. But the difference in better quality is noticeable.

My husband and I love this Publix! It is brand new and huge! It even has a second floor with seating. We love the new layout, especially with the extended sub station and sushi bar. The staff is always super friendly and there is plenty of parking, too.

This Publix must have issues with getting stock. Several times over a month’s time, they have been out of various items. Some of the items were advertised specials in their sales ad.

The store is very nice but I’ve been here on a few occasions and it’s always been an unpleasant experience. The parking lot is too small for the traffic. The sushi at the deli is frequently VERY old the few times I got it. My first visit, I was watched heavily at self checkout by a worker but then they didn’t say any pleasantries or just goodbye on my way out. The second time it was just too congested in the store. A stock person near the deli rudely pushed a cart breezing past very close. Just too many workers on the floor and not friendly that visit. 3rd visit, I was finally greeted at the door. I bought alcohol so I provided ID. The cashier stared so heavily at my ID, and it made me very uncomfortable. Also when I was waking looking for an open registers, a young lady was at one closed register doing something with the cash and seemed a bit unnerved when I walked up. I noticed she walked away with a few dollars in hand. It could of been innocent but every encounter has been odd.

I love the new store but the deli is really slow! Some of the employees that work the sandwich area don’t seem to like their job and are not positive at all. The sushi and bowl side is great! If you go there and are expecting fast service for a sandwich think again, you will be waiting for a long time. Other than that the store is great!
